The silver sword city

''Let's go and see this Silver sword city.''

Liu Mei's beautiful black eyes leaked Shun Long, as she smiled brightly and nodded her head as she said

''Then give me a moment first.''

Liu Mei took out a white veil from her spatial ring, and placed it on her face, for the whole, before she twisted to look at Shun Long.

Shun Long smiled when he saw Liu Mei's actions, but he understood, that because they were about to enter a completely new city that they didn't know about, that was, it was possible that Liu Mei's pretty face would attract unnecessary attention.

Nodding his head, Shun Long grabbed his hand as he boarded the 'silver-winged panther king', as they left the cave.

Liu Mei had been planning to wear this veil on her face, ever since she saw Yang Gongsun's facial expression on her face, when she looked outside the 'nature Vermilion' entrance'.

With the speed of the black panther, it took less than 20 minutes for Shun Long and Liu Mei to reach the end of the forest, and they were now only a few miles away from the Silver sword city.

Once out of the forest, Shun Long had the panther lower its speed, as they got closer to the giant city in front of them.

When they were only a mile away from the big city gate, Shun Long and Liu Mei saw 2 long queues for people who wanted to enter the city.

One queue for a foot trip, while the other for a carriage or a person riding on their magical beast.

Many luxuries stood out, all the way from the city gate, to the current location of Shun Long and Liu Mei. Most of them had a magical sight of 2, or rank 3 that attracted them, when suddenly, everyone's attention was on the 2 people sitting in the 'silver-winged panther king' who approached them from a distance.

A handsome young man, along with the young lady wearing a white veil on his face, had painted a beautiful scene.

However, the magical beasts in the scene, instantly moved as they sensed the aura of a magical beast being 5 approaching them.

The people sitting inside the carriage immediately came out, looking for a way to watch the restless magical beasts, while the passersby began to practice secretly among themselves.

'' It was a rank 5 magical beast! Heaven! How could these people ride a rank 5 magical beast?! I wonder if they are members of one of the powerful clans?''

'' It was not only rank 5, but rank 5 'Silver-winged panther king'! Not only were these ferocious beasts extremely rare, but their combat strength was also above that of average magical beasts at the same level as them. I wonder which clan these 2 belong to?!''

2 Guardians wearing black hats, with swords opening at their waists, approached the black panther, when one of them then turned towards Shun Long and looked at the hand at the moment he said

''Welcome to the city of the Silver Sword. If you are new to the city, then you will have to pay 100 spirit stones for each person in your magical beast. Of course, if you are a member of one of the sects, or part of a paid association, then you can enter for free.''

Shun nodded his head, as he indeed saw the other person before him paying 100 spirit stones, and indulging him, he handed 200 stones to the guard given.

Passing through the gate, Shun Long noticed that the city was far more prosperous than imagined, as countless carriages could be seen on its wide streets. The tall buildings around them, will also immediately attract the attention of anyone who first visited the city.

Walking through the streets of the Silver sword city, Shun Long and Liu Mei were innumerable street vendors offering with customers, as well as countless shop signs. From street food, to alchemy pills and weapons made from formation experts, the street vendors in Silver sword city had everything.

Turning his head to look at Liu Mei, Shun's lips curled up as he said

''Let's find a good place to eat, and get some information about this city. Then we can decide what we want to do.''

Liu Mei nodded her head, and a smile formed behind her white veil, as Shun held on while holding onto them looking for a good place to eat.

10 Minutes later, they arrived in front of a luxurious restaurant, which was over 5 times larger than the 'Mystical Aroma Pavilion'. Shun Long then floated the head of the black panther, as he told him to wait for them outside, before he and Liu Mei went inside.

As soon as Shun Long and Liu Mei walked through the silver-colored gate of the restaurant and entered into it, a woman teased with a challenge, which the early 30s began to approach, as they approached, and with a bright smile on his face, he said

''Welcome to the 'Red Rose Pavilion'! Young master, young lady, how can I serve?''

Looking at the bustling first floor of this pavilion, Old Shun then paid his attention to the lady as he asked.

''Is there an empty table on this floor?''

The woman nodded her head with the same professional smile on her face, as she replied

''Of course! Please follow me.''

The woman in red, immediately brought Shun Long and Liu Mei to an empty table by the window.

Since this was the first time he and Liu Mei visited the Silver sword city, Shun Long was curious about the food here, as he looked at the woman in red and said

''Bring us two dishes from each of your pavilion specialties, as well as your 2 best wine jars.''

The woman nodded her head as she accepted the order and left, while Shun Long and Liu Mei quietly listened to the discussions around them, while they waited for their order to arrive.

20 Minutes later, when their order arrived, Shun Long and Liu Mei had learned a bit of valuable information from the people around them.

It seemed like the Silver sword city had a lot of strong power within it. There were even some sects, who had established their headquarters within the city. However, the most interesting information Shun Long and Liu Mei had ever heard, was about the Payday Army Association. It seemed to be some sort of superpower, which was even stronger than the various sects within the Silver sword city.

After they finished tasting their dishes, Shun Long and Liu Mei admired the quality of the food. Even the best inn of the 'floating cloud sect', could not compare in the slightest to the random restaurant in this Silver sword city.

Just as they finished eating, Liu Mei's voice sounded calm in Shun Long's ears as she asked

'' Shun Long .. are you planning to enter one of these sects? Or maybe... You are interested in joining this Mercenaries Association?''
