JUST A CRASH - BUTTERFLY CROSSING

JUST A CRASH - BUTTERFLY CROSSING
26. Wind

Shuji gets out of the hospital and finds the woman he almost betrothed with—Kei, presumably waiting for his driver to come to pick up.

During these two months, Kei spent time staying in the Oda clan to adapt to his surroundings. Previously, Inaba had married her daughter to a clan that was 'he said' honorable. But when they were married, the fact was that the clan rotated their wives among the brothers in order to 'strengthen the relationship'. This terrible scandal occurred a long time ago when the local government was still led by samurai. This tradition was later passed down, whereby the future Inaba son-in-law would stay in their destination clan to check if the clan was true as the original or just engineered. This tradition has saved many princesses of Inaba from nosy hands and hence continues to this day.

Kei felt that two months in the Oda clan was a convenient thing for him. The only problem is that she has not met her future husband—Shuji.

He said that Shuji is a little wild and difficult to control, but for Kei it is not a problem.

After coming this far, Kei thought he would really become part of the Oda clan. Two months was not a long time but it was undeniable, Kei had a feeling of being left behind. It was heavy for him to leave the room with a determination just now.

When the woman saw Shuji emerge from the hospital door and stand beside her, Kei opened his voice.

“Is it okay to leave the room just like that?”

“What's the reason?”

“Looks like I heard. commotion when I took the elevator just now.”.

“Oh.” Shuji was silent for a moment. “The old man's illness relapses again. Not a big deal?” Shuji tilted his head.

Kei tried to ignore but could not help but open his voice. “I know you feel hurt by what happened to you.” Kei opened his mouth. “I don't know what it's like so I can't give you anything. But..., I advise you to correct your nature.”

“Pftt... What is my nature?”

“Oda-kun.” This time Kei did not call Shuji by his first name. And the woman could clearly see Shuji's expression turning tangled instantly. “Why you? I don't want to call a stranger's first name.” Kei only called the first name for her husband. “Or do you want to change your mind?”

“No thanks.” Shuji answered coldly.

“I'll take it as my fate.” Kei said with a big heart. “You've been my life's goal these past few months, so it's hard for me to escape. I hope you understand.” The dedication of a clan princess was no joke. So serious can be to match one's belief in a religion.

“I hope you get the good men you love, and don't have to do everything for the sake of clan.”

Shuji's prayer sounded like a delusion in Kei's ear. The woman just laughed—though her parents gave her everything Kei wanted, the woman understood a long time ago. No matter how luxurious his life was, to whatever extent, he would always be a tool for his clan. Getting a husband who respects each other during marriage and appreciates each other's position and role is something to be grateful for.

While love? That was unthinkable at all.

Before long the black sedan car entered the hospital courtyard and stopped in front of Kei. “I think with this incident you will be free to live your next life?” Watching Shuji's behavior just now, Kei feels both Hideaki and Denji will be unclean to contact Shuji again. If bringing Shuji back to the clan would be chaotic, it was indeed better to live apart.

“Entah.” Shuji doesn't bother with the future. What he's thinking now is what Orange is doing.

“I hope the best for you.” Kei nodded and got into the car after the driver opened the door. The black car left in a stretch without the slightest regret—like its owner.

Since he is already in the Capital, Shuji intends to eat something tasty (expensive) since it has been a long time. Shuji enters one of the restaurants famous for its grilled wagyu menu. After ordering and sitting down, Shuji had time to check his phone.

Five unread messages sent to Orange.

[So: I've arrived at the port.]

[Orang to: The ferry is pretty big.]

[Orang: The sea is beautiful. What about your business? Smoothly?]

Shuji immediately replied to the incoming messages. Commenting on each photo and checking the last hour of Orange sends a message.

At two o'clock in the afternoon.

It was over half an hour ago and Shuji felt guilty for not directly checking his phone.

Shuji realizes the message he sent has a check mark of one.

Bizarrely. Could it be that there was no signal on the ship?

But Shuji saw the sea photo that Jingga sent, it was clear the ship was sailing and there was no problem with the signal, right?

Shuji sent a message once again, this time via SMS. Along with that the menu he ordered came.

“Maybe there's some business..?” Shuji muttering. Although his feelings were agitated from being unable to connect, he still tried to think clearly. Shane decided to eat first.

After eating, Shuji intends to return to the station and return home. The plan tonight was to sleep in the apartment of Orange; he had no intention of staying here. While walking, he was still trying to contact Orange.

Surprisingly, it has been more than an hour and the orange number is still not in contact. Shuji walks down. The same number is pressed once again and attached to his ear.

In front of him was a crowd of people, pausing for a moment to witness something.

In a fit of annoyance Shuji tried to pass through the crowd. His eyes were then diverted to the picture of the ship on the tv screen in a store display.

[Hidrofoil Ferries destination island S lost communication]

Ngiii

A loud buzz filled Shuji's ears and he tried to focus on listening to the incoming news.

Island S? Ferry Ship?

Shuji gulped.

Isn't that the location where Sweet left for the afternoon? What the hell's going on?

Shuji once again pressed the phone number and stuck it in the ear with a gamang.

His face looks pale. He expected his guess to be wrong.

[The ferry boat that was leaving for the island of S this afternoon suddenly lost communication in the middle of the waters. Island S is located at the southern end of City N and is one of the areas of development where the waters are famous for their deadly frozen storms. Earthquake and weather prediction agencies have been predicting that the waters are safe to traverse until the middle of next winter before temperatures drop. Viewers can see a yellow line on the screen, is one of the points where the ferry was last seen. This point is different from the point of emergence of frozen storms that usually occur, so there is still an assumption that this communication disconnection is caused by something else. Among the passengers who boarded it, there were fifteen foreigners and ..{} Officers have also been deployed around...{}].

Simultaneously the voice of the operator was heard from the other end of the phone.

[The number you are going to is not connected.]

“No..”

In Shuji's mind a crying orange face wanting to go with him yesterday flashed.

“No, no.. Sweet.” Shuji took a deep breath and tried to calm his mind. Right, right now he should go straight to the handling center. Or. or he just went straight to the harbor.

“What... what is the name of the port?” Shuji came out of the crowd and immediately typed the name of the port on his phone with a trembling hand.

Several times his finger slipped and after typing old new results appeared.

“City N... station XX..,” Shuji repeats the place listed as if saying a prayer. He stepped once before slumping over— without him realizing his legs had already squeezed.

“Young man, are you okay?” a large man saw Shuji's situation and helped him stand up. Thinking the young man had a rare bone disease until he fell suddenly.

“Thanks, thanks.., City N..”

“You want to go to N city?”

Shuji nodded quickly and stood up straight to get to the station.

“Young man, you need help?” the man was a former soldier, and understood with one look that Shuji's state was similar to the symptoms of panic. Where would this young man go to insist on leaving in such circumstances?

Shuji shook his head quickly and immediately ran over, forcing his legs to move.

The big-bodied man stared at Shuji's figure who disappeared behind the crowd. “City N....” he then saw the news replayed in the electronic store. On the tv on display, the news this afternoon re-echoed making people shake pity to hear it.

"Poor man...,"

Shuji arrives at the station and looks for a quick ticket to Kota N.

But the officer standing guard shook his head in regret. “Genesis this afternoon made the train tickets sold out. There's an empty schedule at the third departure, three hours to go. Do you want?”

“Ordinary train, how?” Shuji asked expectantly. Even longer, it would be faster than waiting for three hours.

“The ticket is also up..,”.

Shuji gritted his teeth. “Give me the ticket with the fastest schedule.”

“The fastest schedule is still three hours away.”.

“I take.” Shuji said half-sluff. He paid in somewhat tangled cash before turning around to look for his shoes that had fallen behind while climbing the stairs just now.

Shuji didn't find his shoes.

Next to her footwear she sat on the edge of the stairs not far from the station. Maybe that was a prank and actually just a technical mistake.

Maybe the signal died suddenly. How can a ship that has not sailed far be lost communication? Shuji clenched his teeth furiously, the officer was incompetent, stupid, brainless.

He wanted to curse them to death, but stopped instantly when Orange's face flashed. This officer is still in need, he can't be careless.

Many times his hands refreshed to find out the latest news of the ferry to the island S.

He was also repeatedly disappointed.

“Why.... why is it like this?”
