Episode 9

Kuchisake-onna remains in the shadow of a small-towner who is terrorized by her horrifying existence. This legend has scared people out at night, and stories of apparitions of split-faced women continue to haunt their minds.

One night, in a dark corner of town, a girl named Mika is on her way home from her friend's house. He walked alone through a narrow path filled with old trees. The gentle night breeze made her hair flutter.

As Mika crossed the small bridge that stretched over the dark river, she felt something strange. The gentle steps followed her steps, and she began to feel uneasy. He tries not to think about the Kuchisake-onna legend he heard from his friend.

However, when he arrived at a dark and desolate place, he heard a terrifying voice. It was the sound of footsteps, footsteps that followed carefully every movement of Mika. He turned around quickly and stared into the darkness.

There, he saw something that made him freeze in fear. A woman in a red coat was waving in the night wind, her footsteps stopping just behind the dark shadows. His body was tightly closed, except for his split mouth.

Mika tries to get away and runs, but Kuchisake-onna suddenly appears in front of her. The woman spoke in a soft and sharp voice, "Am I beautiful?"

Mika, in uncontrollable fear, replied tremblingly, "Y-yes, you are beautiful..."

However, that answer was a big mistake. Kuchisake-onna suddenly revealed her terrible smile, her mouth split open wide. He knew he had captured a new victim.

"Am I still pretty?" Kuchisake-onna said in a sharp voice.

Mika is in unimaginable fear when Kuchisake-onna approaches her with glittering sharp scissors. He tries to scream, tries to run, but Kuchisake-onna quickly chases him, catching him easily.

The woman looked at Mika with empty eyes, her terrible split smile echoing within the darkness. "You are the perfect gift.your blood will quench my thirst..."

Ruthlessly, Kuchisake-onna swung her scissors, and Mika felt a tremendous pain as the weapon slashed her body. Fresh blood oozed from the open wounds, and Mika fell on the ground, trying to ease her pain.

But Kuchisake-onna won't let him just walk away. He swung his scissors again and again, cutting and wounding Mika mercilessly. Desperate screams filled the night air, but no one listened.

As Mika loses more blood and her life weakens, Kuchisake-onna seems to be getting more satisfied. He tasted the blood of his new victim with an evil excitement, feeling a mysterious power flowing through him.

As Mika felt herself almost dead, Kuchisake-onna stopped her attack for a moment and said sharply, "When you reach the world after death, tell them that Kuchisake-onna is still thirsty for blood and is still living in fear..."

Mika could only listen to those words with increasingly dim eyes. The pain subsided, and the world slowly faded for him. Mika becomes the latest victim of Kuchisake-onna, who continues in her quest to quench her dark thirst.

Meanwhile, the small town continues to live in fear and terror, with stories of Kuchisake-onna growing stronger. No one knows how to stop this evil spirit, and the horrors of this legend will continue to lurk in the dark nights to come.
