In a remote village in the mountains of Japan, an ancient legend about Jorogumo, or "the spider that turns into a female," grows into an increasingly terrifying horror. Stories about this creature have circulated for generations, but this time, the terror that came with it was the most sinister.
On a dark and rainy night, a young man named Satoshi walks through the dense forest towards the village. He did not realize that he had entered the territory inhabited by Jorogumo. As he crossed the small bridge that crossed the river, something strange caught his attention.
A beautiful woman with long dark black hair and a red kimono was crouching on the bridge, looking very limp. Satoshi approached her with a thumping heart, offering help. However, when the woman turned her head, her face suddenly turned into something unimaginable.
Jorogumo's eyes flashed viciously, and he displayed a sharp smile filled with spider fangs. "Thank you, young man, you are the perfect victim."
Satoshi was too shocked to make a move, and before he realized what was happening, Jorogumo had wrapped an extremely strong thin thread around his body. Satoshi fought hard to break free, but the thread grew stronger, tying him tightly.
With incredible speed, Jorogumo finished his work. He picks up his threads and buries Satoshi in a deadly spider web. Satoshi felt himself paralyzed, trapped in a net he could not escape.
Jorogumo said in a sharp voice, "You are the perfect gift for me, young man. Your blood will quench my thirst."
The moment Satoshi realized that he was going to be the victim of this monstrous creature, an unimaginable fear haunted his mind. And on this dark night, the legend of Jorogumo becomes a terrifying reality.
Satoshi lay trapped in a strong spider web, and Jorogumo approached him with a dark heart. He looked at the young man with hungry eyes, ready to take his helpless life. Satoshi panicked, trying hard to break away, but Jorogumo's threads were too strong.
In desperation, Satoshi tries to reflect on the story of Jorogumo he has heard. He knew that this creature had weaknesses, and the only way to avoid death for sure was to answer these spider questions correctly.
Jorogumo smiled sharply, admitting that this young man was astute. "I was a spider that turned into a woman to attract my victims. I thirst for fresh blood and a suffering soul."
Satoshi pondered for a moment, trying to think of the next question he would ask to avoid death. "Who was your last victim before me?"
Jorogumo smiled wider, speaking in an evil tone, "My last victim was a farmer caught in a rainstorm in the forest."
Satoshi kept asking questions after questions, trying to slow down the hungry Jorogumo. He learns about the legend of Jorogumo that has been told from generation to generation. But as he felt confident, he asked the final question, "Is there a way to free you from this curse?"
Jorogumo laughed amusedly and said, "No, young man. This curse will live on, and I'll always look for victims."
However, a moment after he answered this last question, Jorogumo looked surprised. He looked up and heard the sound of human feet approaching. The people from the village had caught up with Satoshi, they were carrying torches and ritual equipment.
Jorogumo knew that he had to escape, and he quickly gnawed at the thread of his net and jumped to the ceiling. He disappeared quickly, leaving Satoshi freed from the spider's web.
The young man is soon rescued by the villagers, and they tell him that they have heard about Satoshi's journey into the treacherous forest. They had followed in his footsteps and managed to save him.
However, Satoshi knows that Jorogumo is still out there, looking for a new victim. The legend of this creature becomes more real than he ever imagined, and he vows to understand and unravel the mystery surrounding Jorogumo.
