Story 5: Rokurokubi

This story takes us to a small village hidden in the dense mountains of Japan. The village is home to a group of people who live in peace. However, in the dark and lonely night, there was something terrible lurking among them.

In that village, there was a woman named Keiko. Keiko is a young woman who lives very simply and dresses with a thick veil. But at night, Keiko has a terrible secret known only to her.

One night, when the moon is hidden behind a cloud, Keiko feels a strange urge to walk out of her house. He walked slowly towards the dark and silent forest that surrounded the village.

In the middle of the forest, Keiko undergoes a sinister change. His head began to lift from his body, and his elastic neck began to extend like a snake. He has transformed into Rokurokubi, a ghost with the ability to extend his neck in search of prey.

Keiko, or this Rokurokubi, walks through the village with her long neck, looking for an unlucky victim. When he found someone sleeping outside their home, his neck quickly wrapped around the victim and sucked his blood greedily.

The villagers start to get suspicious about the loss of their blood at night, but no one knows that Keiko is the Rokurokubi responsible for all of this. He kept this terrible secret carefully, pretending to be an innocent woman during the day.

However, Keiko felt a deep sense of confusion and guilt about what happened to her at night. He wanted to end the terror he had brought to the village, but he did not know how to do it.

Meanwhile, darkness and fear are rampant in this small village, and anyone can become the next victim of this hidden Rokurokubi.

As the moon floated high in the dark sky, this Keiko or Rokurokubi, approached a small child who was asleep inside his room. With his long, slippery neck, he slowly lurked into the boy's room.

When Keiko's neck wrapped around the child gently, she felt something strange. The child did not move or scream in fear like the previous victims. Instead, the child looked at him with empty eyes, and a terrible smile was engraved on his face.

Without warning, the boy attacked. He had sharp teeth like a wolf and started to bite Keiko's neck ferociously. A devastating pain engulfed Keiko, and her own blood continued to be sucked in by this child.

Keiko struggled to convolutely dodge the child's attack, but the child was so strong and ferocious. The two wrestled in a terrible battle, and blood flowed down the floor.

Finally, with his last strength, Keiko managed to break free from the clutches of the boy. He fled with his neck still long, leaving the boy with an insatiable lust for blood.

The next morning, the villagers found the boy's body lying inside his room, complete with a hideous smile frozen on his face. They had no idea what had happened, and fear was running rampant.

Keiko, who returns to being an innocent woman by day, feels guilty for what has happened. He realized that the terror he had brought to this village could no longer be allowed to continue.

Now, he seeks to find a way to end the curse that has turned him into Rokurokubi and seek recovery for the boy who has become a monstrous creature. However, he knew that he had to act quickly before the darkness completely engulfed this small village.
