Fariz Erlangga

"If indeed your request wants me to give you away, I will fulfill it. I will always support your decisions. Just like Zafran and your family, I also want to see you happy. Whoever your choice is to be your life partner, I will bless you. And if Ronald is a man who can make you happy, then I love you with him" Fariz said, gently rubbing Zafira's hair with a firmness that exceeds the rock.
His eyes were not allowed to cry, but it was his mind that kept crying in silence lamenting his unrequited love.
"If you're happy with your marriage, then I'll be happy too. I will always pray for the best for you. From now on, there is no need to feel sad anymore. Even if we can't meet every day and we can't be this free after you get married, but I'll still be your best friend,"
Zafira was silent in Fariz's arms, listening to the man's words with mixed feelings. Between happy and sad. Happy that Fariz had given him his blessing, sad that he felt he had hurt the man. Isakan Zafira was still heard behind Fariz's chest.
"Thank you for agreeing and approving my decision. I don't know how sad my heart is until you don't approve of my marriage let alone intend to stay away from me" said Zafira has not yet released a hug from the tall body.
"That's not gonna happen. Don't be sad. Didn't I just say, I will always be there for you and won't stay away from you. So now don't worry about it anymore. Zafran and I will continue with you" Fariz said, assuring doubts that Zafira had questioned.
"My love is sincere Zafira, so I will do anything to make you happy. Although I should be hurt, I would, "Fariz can only whisper this sentence in his heart.
Fariz, who heard Zafira's sobbing, looked down at the head of the girl who was immersed in his chest. Slowly Fariz took off his embrace and looked at Zafira's face still with tears on her cheeks.
"Hey, why are you crying? Your face looks so ugly when you cry like this. Let alone Ronald, I just don't want to make you a wife with this ugly face of yours. Ugly and old-looking," Fariz smiled broadly trying to comfort Zafira's grief despite the fact that the man's heart was much sadder than Zafira's.
He did not want the girl he loved to welcome his bride's day with grief. Fariz wanted to see Zafira smiling happily ahead of her wedding as other girls laughing happily awaited an important moment in their lives.
"Never say I'm old! I was only twenty-four. It was as if you were criticizing me!," the girl who made her sorrow get sidetracked by Fariz's reproach, stared dejectedly at her best friend.
"Haha, haha, especially if you are angry like this already like a grandmother," Fariz again teased Zafira in the hope that the girl did not grieve anymore.
"ah! You can never be seriously talked to! It sucks!," The girl was a manyun but her tears were still left in both corners of her eyes as well as her cheeks.
"Listen to me. I'm serious this time" said Fariz, staring fixedly at the girl in front of him.
Fariz touched Zafira's face and rubbed the point of tears that were still poking at the corner of the girl's eyes with the tip of her thumb and dried the tears that were still left on the girl's cheeks with fingers index, middle and sweet.
Zafira. Staring at Fariz fixedly, the face still looked shady and always calm.
"Listen to Zafira, you must be happy on your wedding day. Remember, this only happens once in a lifetime. So I don't want to see you sad like this. After your marriage, I will also open my heart to other girls and look for a future wife. So you don't have to worry about me. Later you can see for yourself how many girls I will introduce you. haha, haha," entertain Fariz deliberately let off a laugh even though it was just a figurative. Fariz did seem to be laughing but if he looked carefully, the laughter looked bland.
Fariz did not really want to make his words come true, because for him only Zafira was still attached to his heart. And I don't know when the man can get the name Zafira out of his heart.
Zafira watched very closely the face in front of her. Zafira felt, if in fact Fariz was just pretending to be happy and forced to laugh in order to make him not sad anymore. Curiosity was also immediately expressed without covering everything that stuck in his mind.
"Fariz, are you pretending to laugh?," Zafira said as she continued to look at Fariz's face with eyes full of curiosity.
"Who is pretending to laugh? Let's see my face. Still handsome right?," Fariz slightly bent down to align his body with the girl's body and put on a smile as sweet as possible in front of Zafira's face.
"You always praise yourself. I'm serious, Fariz!," Zafira murmured, pursed her lips and cast a glance towards the lake.
"I'm serious too. Just look at my face," Fariz's pinta made Zafira move her head that was staring at the lake and set her eyes back at the man before her.
After Zafira turned his face towards Fariz, the man continued.
"Am I crying? No right? That means I'm fine. I remember mom's message. If indeed we are not a match, then I must betray you. And I will follow the advice of my mother, will give everything. Now I know that your soul mate is not me but Ronald. So from now on, I won't expect you anymore either. Is the only girl in the world just you? No right? There are many girls out there who want to be my mother's daughter-in-law. Yeah right?," Fariz explained at length while turning his body to the right facing the lake.
Fariz stood firmly facing the lake while putting both hands in his pants pocket. Enjoy the stretch of lake water that looks so calm and clear. Zafira also turned his body to the left following Fariz, looking straight ahead.
Zafira remained silent. But his head and ears continued to digest and hear word for word Fariz said without missing a single word.
"And you also have to remember one thing. I'm the President Director. I'm a well-established man, handsome and in a position. There must be a lot of girls in line who want to be my wife. Fariz is fighting!," said Fariz, laughing in self-praise as he pulled one hand out of his chest-clapping pants pocket, still trying to cheer Zafira up to smile again.
"Friday again. I wonder, why do you like to praise yourself so much?," Zafira gave a glance at Fariz who was still laughing until her shoulders shook slightly.
"The reality is like that, right?" now the man neutralizes the laughter into a small smile and steals the gaze of the girl next to whom his face has been seen again radiant.
Zafira did not answer. Fariz was finally silent.
For a few minutes the atmosphere became quiet. Zafira still digested all the words of his friend. Eventually, he opened his voice again.
"Fariz, are you really going to start opening your heart and looking for a wife?," Zafira suddenly asked in a serious tone.
His gaze that had only been fixed on the lake before him, now turned to look closely at the man beside him and impatiently waiting for an answer to come out of the man's lips.
