Part 55: Ludeng(Foot 1000)

We rested quite quietly that night without any interference from the sake of inhabiting this forest. So that in the morning we had enough energy to continue our journey.

“Kalo early morning air in the forest is very cool ya” I breathe fresh air produced from green trees, which gives me a little spirit to start my adventure today. A new day of hope, I hope today I find a place where Mom is.

“Nih eat” Pras threw a banana at me and also Bara of course I received it with pleasure at least this banana is enough to prop our stomach.

The arrival of the creature was accompanied by thousands of bells that surrounded us, the demit of children who had filled this place one by one began to disappear as if afraid of the human creature.

My words enraged the creature and instantly thousands of bells attacked our bodies. We are trying to keep this veil away from our bodies but the sheer number of them would not be possible if we were to survive. Bara just remembered if this animal wants blood on our bodies. Bara picked up the object around him scraping it into his arm until fresh blood flowed, I did not waste this opportunity immediately I took a skewer of konde in the shape of a golden-colored cantilever flower that was under the tail of the creature.

“Pras, Kanthi lari” I shouted while running as fast as following the direction Bara ran. That thing kept chasing us it was fortunate that someone suddenly appeared.

“You keep running follow the sunlight these creatures will stop chasing you when your body is exposed to the sun”

We continued to run until the sunlight began to be seen, right what Ki Ageng said the creature was no longer chasing us. We took a breath, while collecting our energy again after the marathon.
