Curiosity makes Kanthi not care if he will receive punishment from Nirmala. After all his humanity led him to save the woman. Kanthi approached the pendopo, opening the door. The creaking door let out a sound of friction between the rusted door iron.
The room was very dark, damp and smelled musty as well. How can anyone survive in a place like this. The darkness of the room made Kanthi unable to see anything. Kanthi felt that something was standing behind her. Kanthi tried to dare to turn her body, but the hand smothered her as she was about to scream.

Many years ago after the birth of Jida, Rahayu maligned an affair with Revelation, the, the slander was intended for Nirmala to finish Rahayu's life by order mbok Nipah because Mbok Nipah knew that Rahayu had one of Nirmala's destinies.
Nirmala still let Rahayu live but instead Nirmala locked Rahayu in a pendopo that often Nirmala and Rahayu use to practice dancing not only that Nirmala prying one of Rahayu's eyeballs.
When the burning occurred, no one knew if Rahayu was still confined here, and even Revelation did not know that Nirmala did not kill Rahayu.
