Blind Dating

Daren Won, thirty-five year old man. Handsome, single, and brilliant are the three words to describe the figure of a Daren. Daren has a tall body and athletic stature. The look on his face was firm and his manner was calm and friendly. He worked at Emperor Group and held a position as operational director. Won's family became the number two shareholder in Emperor Group. Mother Daren named Darla, holding a position as a member of the board of commissioners of Emperor Group, he is very ambitious to make Daren as president director so that Daren must compete closely with Voren.

Daren had just finished her bath when her mother called. He sat down on the edge of the bed to answer the call.

"Yes, Mom," Daren replied.

"Daren, I've set up a blind date for you that you need to meet now" Darla said.

Daren grinned, again the mother told him to attend a blind date.

"Mother, didn't we agree that I won't get married until I get the position of president director?" ask Daren.

"Daren, what's wrong with you looking for your partner from now on, so that once you get the position of president director, you'll get married immediately" Darla said.

"Mother" said Daren.

"Daren, if you're in town B, your blind date is in town B, I'll send you the profile of the woman, I think she's perfect for you, Daren," darla says she doesn't want Daren to argue with her.

"All right, ma'am," said Daren.

"Mom will call you again, be prepared and don't let you down again" Darla said.

"Okay, ma'am, I get it" said Daren.

Hearing Darla hang up the phone, Daren sighed and immediately contacted Dinar.

"Dinar, I'm not going home today, please arrange a flight tomorrow, you can go back first" Daren said.

"Well Mr. Daren, I understand" Dinar said.

Daren hung up, threw his phone on the bed. Not long after a message came in on his phone screen. The message came from her blind date. To be honest Daren is not interested in following a blind date arranged by his mother. Because dating candidates are similar and uniform. Beautiful women, from the upper class, are highly educated, and of course according to his mother is perfect to accompany Daren.

Daren herself chose to remain single because seven years ago her mother rejected the woman of her choice, even though the woman had been Daren's lover since they were in college. Love is hindered blessing makes Daren finally have to separate from the woman. Therefore, Daren became lazy to date seriously because he did not want to hurt anyone anymore.

Daren immediately opened his suitcase to look for formal clothes that he could wear. Because this blind date is so sudden and outside of his work agenda, automatically Daren does not prepare formal clothes. He also could not go to the mall because it was mepet with the meeting hours. Daren finally decided to look sober. Daren wore a black t-shirt that perfectly wrapped his athletic body, as well as black chino pants.

After all, this is just a blind date like other blind dates that have often been followed but have absolutely no results.

Daren immediately headed to the restaurant which was in the hotel's outdoor area. Daren deliberately chose a restaurant at this hotel so that he did not have to bother going anywhere. Once the meeting is over, he can go straight back to the room to rest rather than having to get stuck in traffic on the weekend.

Daren waited at the table with dim lighting. The waves, the wind, and the music from the acoustic band really create a comfortable atmosphere.

Daren looks at his watch, but his blind date partner is apparently coming late. For Daren who really appreciate the time, of course it feels like this date is a little presumptuous because it does not come on time.

Suddenly, a woman dressed in black approached Daren's desk. The woman appeared to be in a hurry and immediately sat down right in front of Daren. Daren of course wondered inwardly, who is this woman?

Is this woman a blind date?

Why is it so different from what is in the photo? What is the evil camera effect? Is the photo editing application used by this woman too excessive to be recognized?

"Good night" said the woman.

"I'm sorry I came late" he said apologizing to Daren.

Daren looked at the woman who looked down and looked left and right.

"Sorry, can we talk somewhere quieter?" ask the woman with her face that looks puffy.

"Please, I beg you," said the woman.

"What's the matter with this place?" ask Daren for astonishment.

"Please, come with me, I promise this is just a consultation, nothing more" she said.

The woman immediately got out of her chair and appeared to be kneeling before Daren.

"Miss," said Daren, holding off the foreign woman who was about to kneel before him.

"Alright, I'll come with you," said Daren finally giving up.

Daren follows the woman who is currently taking him to a room that is still one location with the hotel where he is staying. The woman invited Daren to sit on the sofa. Daren observes the puffy-faced woman who seems so tired. The woman immediately sat down on the other side of the sofa, observed Daren, then lowered her head.

"Can we agree not to activate the phone?" ask the woman while pulling out her phone.

He turned off his phone and put it on the table.

"I hope our conversation wasn't recorded to avoid things that would hurt both of us" she said, staring straight at Daren.

Seeing that the woman's attitude seemed so sporty, Daren pulled out two cell phones he was carrying, turned them off and put them on the table.

"Thank you for your cooperation" said the woman again.

Daren remained silent and observed this woman before him intently. 

"Do you want me to make tea?" ask the woman.

"Thank you, I don't think it's necessary" Daren replied.

Daren must remain vigilant against foreign women who suddenly come and beg him. Daren obviously did not want this woman to kneel before him and invite the attention of restaurant visitors.

"I'm really grateful for your cooperative attitude" the woman said.

"To keep each other a secret, I hope you don't mind if we don't have to introduce ourselves to each other" the woman said.

Daren was more and more astonished by this woman, this woman obviously did not seem to be her blind date partner. I don't know why he found this interesting. 

"No problem" Daren replied.

"I don't know who to talk to, I can't take the swaying grass to talk to four eyes" said the woman with sorrowful eyes that made Daren sympathize.

"Hmm, Master, in your personal opinion, what am I like in your eyes?" ask the woman.

"We don't even know each other, how can I judge you?" Daren asked back.

"I mean, from the point of view of a guy like you, am I attractive or not?" ask the woman to explain.

A guy like me? Think Daren.

"Please, give an objective assessment" the woman said.

Daren carefully observed the woman before him. 

"Why do you need such an assessment?" ask Daren.

The woman breathed a heavy sigh.

"I'll tell you in outline, but please don't judge me" said the woman again pleading with Daren.

"Alright, please," said Daren.
