Daren immediately got off the luxury car he was driving. One of the security guards greeted him, taking Daren's car to a special parking area in the basement.

All eyes were on Daren, unceasingly everyone greeted his presence in the company lobby. Ajeng and Dian, the two beautiful receptionists instantly welcomed Daren's presence with their friendly smiles.

"Good morning, Mr. Daren," said Ajeng and Dian.

"Good morning" Daren greeted them back.

"Good morning, Mr. Daren," said Dinar who immediately welcomed the arrival of his superior.

"Good morning, Dinar," Daren greeted Dinar.

In front of the elevator, two men seemed to welcome Daren.

"Good morning, Mr. Daren," said Doni, bowing his head.

"Good morning, Doni," said Daren.

Voren looked at Daren with a full glance. Observe the appearance of Daren from the tip of the hair to the tip of the man's foot. Voren approached Daren, then patted the tie Daren was wearing.

"Tumben, you put a tie in first, Daren," said Voren.

"Why? You're disappointed you didn't put a tie on me?" ask Daren.

"Yes, I feel betrayed!" voren replied with a clear tone.

"Haha" Daren laughed. "Oh yes, Voren, I have prepared all the ties you have lent, I will return them to you" Daren said after laughing.

"It's better that tie I give you, as a gift so that you don't cry when the chair of the president falls into my hands, Daren," Voren said, commenting on his smile.

"That's it, huh?" Daren smiled back at Voren.

Voren still maintains his smile even though in his heart he has cursed and berated this annoying man in front of him.

"Hu-um," replied Voren.

"Then, we will hear what the evaluation results from Mr. President," Daren said as he gently patted Voren's shoulders.

"Daren, do you want breakfast together? I've ordered enough food that I couldn't possibly spend on my own" Voren said.

"Sorry Voren, I've had breakfast at home" Daren said.

"Oh wow, I'm surprised, don't you always have breakfast at the office, Daren?" ask Voren astonishment.

"No, I think from now on I will have breakfast at home, so that once I arrive at the office, I immediately work without having to waste time just for breakfast" replied Daren.

"Oh so," said Voren.

"You yourself, why order breakfast? Didn't your wife prepare breakfast for you?" ask Daren.

"Oh my goodness, Daren! How could I have told my wife to get up early and prepare breakfast for me? My wife is not a maid! I didn't even allow her beautiful hands to touch me, I mean, touch anything other than me" Voren replied with a carefree smile.

"You really love your wife very much, Voren," Daren responded.

"Oh of course! Just so you know, I'm a man who glorifies wives! All you have to know is that I'm so happy to be the perfect husband for my wife!" Voren.

"Voren, are you showing off because you got married before me?" ask Daren.

"Daren, I didn't mean to show off, I was just inspiring you! You are getting older and older, the wrinkles on your face have even begun to be seen clearly! But you're not married yet either! Haha!" Voren laughed mockingly at Voren.

It was like Doni was spewing out his stomach to hear the words that were clearly thrown full of lies from Mr. Voren's mouth. The man who glorified his wife from where?

Mr. Voren even fought with his wife every time they met, Doni sat in.

"The president is always accompanied by the First Lady! Yes, the Chairman of the Emperor Group is a single person!" continued Voren while still laughing.

Daren covered his smile.

"Voren, I hope you're the one who's gonna be the witness to my wedding" Daren said.

"Oh, of course, I'm a man who is very godly!" Voren.

Daren and Voren threw gazes at each other accompanied by smiles.

"Master, the board meeting is about to begin" Doni immediately stopped face to face between the two men.

"Thank you for reminding Doni" said Voren.

Voren immediately got into the elevator followed by Doni.

"You're not coming, Daren?" ask Voren.

"You go first, Voren," replied Daren.

"All right," said Voren.

Doni immediately closes the elevator door that takes them away from Daren's sight.

"You're not going to work, Mr Daren?" ask Dinar.

"Dinar, we have to wait for the President who will come soon," Daren replied while commenting on his smile.

A tense atmosphere instantly filled the meeting room of Emperor Group. Voren's eyes catch the figure of Alren Lazaro entering the meeting room with Daren.

Alren Lazaro sat in his chair. Mr. Bimo, the male secretary was standing on his right side with his face so cold. Alren immediately put on his glasses, it had become a habit for the middle-aged man to wear glasses while working.

The company officials and representatives of the board of commissioners were also present at the second stage assessment evaluation meeting on the selection of the Chair of the Chairman of the Emperor Group. 

"At the results of the first stage evaluation, we have obtained two names that are the strongest candidates to replace my position as President Director of the Group Emperor. Two young men who have high competence and dedication to the company" Alren said.

"Our first candidate is Daren Won, from Won Corp who currently occupies a position as Director of Operations. As we know, our Director of Operations has shown us all work that exceeded expectations, I am personally very impressed with the ability of our first candidate" Alren explained.

Daren stood up and bowed to a blaring applause, then Daren sat back in his chair.

"Our second candidate is Voren Lazaro, from Emperor Group who currently holds a position as Finance Director. As we know, the finance department has always been the department that most often gets the spotlight and complaints from various parties. But that's the truth. The most crucial and demanding job is someone who has to have very high honesty and loyalty" Alren said.

Voren stood up from his chair and leaned over while commenting on the smile to everyone, then he sat back down after the blaring applause ended briefly.

The large screen in front of everyone showed the results of the performance evaluation of the two candidates who were competing for the President Director's seat.

Voren folded his hands in front of his chest, he clenched his hands tightly looking at the results of the evaluation. He and Daren have drawn on several aspects of the assessment, both individually and as a team.

"Both of our candidates are the best candidates and make us very impressed with their respective achievements! But all of that certainly did not escape the support and opportunity that we have given them both" said Alren.

"Mr Alren, then what about your personal assessment of both of our candidates? Among them there must be something more you objectively raise," one of the representatives of the board of commissioners threw a question at Alren.

Alren fixed the location of his glasses while smiling at Daren.

"According to my personal view, I prefer Daren based on the results of performance and competence possessed by him," replied Alren.

Voren really felt slapped by the words of his father who clearly waved the war flag to him.
