I'm the Princess of an Actor
Chapter 28: Mysterious Package

My hands trembled when I saw the photo of a knife covered in blood, especially when reading the writing above.

"Your husband's a hit man."

Nay! I wasn't afraid to know that Mas Adam was a hit man, but what scared me was someone who sent me this photo.

If this guy can send me this package, it means he knows that Mas Adam is a murderer. What if he reports Mas Adam to the police?.

I don't know what my heart and mind want right now, but I don't want to think about whether Mas Adam should be in jail.

I clearly know if he's a murderer, even he's admitted to it himself. Still, as a wife I don't want her to go to jail.

"Who sent this picture?" I murmured in fear.

Or was the one who sent it one of Mas Adam's enemies? Yeah, it might be. Who else is going to do this all of a sudden? Although I haven't caught on to what purpose this guy is telling me.

I looked around the box to see if there were any other objects, but all I got was the writing behind the photo.

"Next, I'll send you the evidence. Just wait!."

The writing made my whole body feel trembling, I was really scared.

The house bell that rang made me tiptoe in shock, and spontaneously closed this box and hid it under the table.

I opened the door of the house, a courier was standing carrying a rather large box. This courier is different from the courier that was, but remembering what happened just now scared me.

"On behalf of Mba Khansa?."

"true."

"Please welcome, this is a package from Mr. Adam Biantara."

Hearing it made me feel relieved, I quickly accepted it. The courier left after I signed, and I went straight into the house.

Seeing the contents of the box was clearly still leaving a shock that was so deep, so I decided to open the package from Mas Adam later.

I took the mysterious package I put under the table, brought it into the room. Anyway, I feel like Mas Adam doesn't need to know about this.

..........

At 4pm, Adam was home. I was not at the door welcoming him, but just hearing the sound of his motorbike from inside the room.

Don't forget, if I'm still afraid of him. Yes, although I know clearly if the goal is good because it has helped Vania. However, still what he did was not the right thing, let alone this dealing with human lives. And for now I want to keep my distance from him.

Geck! Geck! Geck!

"Assynkt, Khansa. Are you inside?." asked Mas Adam after knocking on my door.

I did not answer, choosing to cover myself with a blanket.

"Khansa, are you inside?" he asked again, this time sounding panicked.

Actually I was lazy to answer him, but rather than him worrying and even opening the door forcibly I chose to speak.

"Getishalight."

"Have you opened the package?."

This time I picked up a package on the nightstand, opened the door and gave it to her.

Thinking about the mysterious package this afternoon, did I tell Mas Adam only. Ah no-no, this is not a good time. After all, the sender of the package did no harm to anyone, so I don't think it's a problem to hide it from Mas Adam.

"Just open" I replied, but because I was afraid that it was a package from the same person. Yes, even though I tried to think positively if it was indeed the package that Mas Adam sent.

Adam smiled, there was not the slightest hint of annoyance visible on his face at my deafness.

"Yes, that's it." Mas Adam then opened the package, and it turned out that the contents were all lecture equipment previously mentioned by Huda.

I took over the box in Mas Adam's hand happily, not expecting that he would buy it for me. I forgot to order all of this online.

But, wait a minute!.

"Why do you know I need all this?." Obviously Huda told me over the phone, and I haven't told Mas Adam either. Then how did he know? Isn't this weird?.

"You had a bad time because of your husband, so I thought I'd call your friend and ask you what you needed for college. Sorry for opening your phone to get the number."

Apparently so... I nodded in understanding, my phone did not use any password. But wait! Or is this just a mode, whether when opening my phone, Mas Adam...

"Did Mas put a eavesdropper or tracker on my phone?." I asked full of probing, squinting at him so he knew if I suspected him.

Obviously my suspicion is not without basis, after telling the truth about the murder he committed, maybe Mas Adam was more vigilant against me. He's probably afraid that I'm gonna report him to the police or something.

And I don't know what's funny, Mas Adam just chuckled softly and almost rubbed my head if I didn't quickly dodge.

"Of course not, why would Mas do that to Mas's own wife?."

"Yes because I was afraid that I would report to the police. So Mas tapped my phone to find out who I was calling, then tracked my phone down so Mas would always know where I was."

"It seems like a good idea." He raised both eyebrows repeatedly.

"I'm serious Mas!." I was annoyed to see his casual response.

"Mas can understand if you're afraid of having a killer's husband, but please don't let this be too much for you to think about and make you depressed. Especially until you think too much of something."

"Don't get too thought out?." I repeated his words cynically. "By being aware of what you're doing? They kill someone, they kill a human. Things that not only make Mas sinful, but maybe one time Mas can be imprisoned" I said with a raging feeling, between sad and also upset.

"Mas waiting for that day." He smiled thinly.

His words stunned me, what does that mean?.

"Why wait, why don't you just give yourself up?." I'm sorry, he could have said he was waiting for his day in prison.

"It's not that easy" he replied with a face that was hard to decipher.

"True, leaving a messiah is not easy, but I don't see if Mas has tried" I replied annoyed.

Instead of angry back or making other refutations, Mas Adam actually returned to smiling. Really, for a long time I felt annoyed with his smile that did not recognize the atmosphere. Why is she so calm even when I'm upset with her?.

"I was upset, and Mas smiled instead. It sucks!."

"If you're happy with it, then start studying hard." Adam glanced at the box that was still in my hand, then entered his room.

Seeing her so gentle demeanor somehow made me feel pity. Yes, pity a murderer who can go to jail at any time.

Maybe because I love him.

Seriate.
