I'm the Princess of an Actor
Chapter 18: Refusing to Legalize Marriage

"Mass?" call me Mas Adam who hasn't been out of the room since our brief conversation this morning.

I had made breakfast, and she hadn't left the room after I waited long enough, so I decided to call her the one I thought was just taking a shower after all night somewhere.

The door opened, looking like my husband who now looks fresher than before. His face was again adorned with the smile I had always seen.

"Let's have breakfast, the food is ready!" ask me, he nodded and walked first.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you" he said as I picked up the food.

"Well, you've already apologized, I've forgiven. If you don't want me to wake up too early, I will. After all, I can rest longer" I said, showing him if I'm okay, because that's the truth.

"Thank you."

I just smiled, then we started breakfast a little later.

"How is Mas?." I asked when Mas Adam had just bribed his food, he chewed it with a moment of silence.

"Don't, your cooking is always good. Looks like I'll be fat in the near future." Adam chuckled softly.

"Can I stop speaking formal language? I feel uncomfortable." I asked the more uncomfortable the longer. I spoke in a relaxed language, while my older husband spoke a formal language.

"Sure..." He was silent for a moment. "Mas will try."

"That sounds better." I smiled happily, while returning to feed the food into my mouth.

"Oh yeah, Mas said that my cooking is good, do you want me to cook something for lunch?" I asked.

"Emm, looks like Mas wants to eat fried rice."

"Fried rice?."

"Why really? Is that hard?."

"Of course not, I mean fried rice is a simple meal. I think Mas wants me to cook something harder."

"They like to eat fried rice."

"Well, I'll cook some special fried rice for lunch."

Now I know what my husband's favorite food is. And somehow, it feels good.

After breakfast Mas Adam took me to the market, whether to buy anything, he said I should go with him.

Even though there were two bikes, Mas Adam asked me to piggyback on him. I was almost never hit by anyone let alone a man, so I felt uncomfortable and sat back and held on to the back grip.

"Why so far away? You will fall."

"Grandfather, I'm more comfortable like this."

Mas Adam sighed softly, and suddenly pulling his motor gas made both my hands reflexively hold on to him, he then stopped the motor.

"Look, you'll fall if the bike goes." He chuckles.

I almost pulled my hand off her shirt, as she held it.

"Stay like this."

I could only hold back a smile with her attitude, suspending taking my hand off her t-shirt.

After that we began the journey, when he arrived at the market, he took me to the biggest clothing store here, then asked the shopkeeper for women's clothes.

"Mas, my clothes are a lot" prevented me from realizing that they were for me.

"No papa, I haven't bought you any clothes yet."

He ignored me, but instead asked the shopkeeper to help me try on some of the clothes that had been selected. He also asked me to choose the face and prayer that I wanted.

"But this is too much Mas" I said as he paid for all the clothes he thought fit me.

"The more the better."

After finishing buying clothes and prayer equipment, Mas Adam brought me one of the simple salons there, asked his employees to provide facial treatments and so on for me.

"This is too much Mas, I don't seem to need any of this" I said as I sat in the chair facing the mirror, while the salon employee was standing behind me.

"You need it." Adam turned to the salon staff. "Please start."

Adam came out somewhere, while the salon staff started touching my hair.

"Gee!" my prevent.

"Miss' hair is actually good, but it needs better care."

And then I relented, letting the salon staff take care of my hair.

"Sorry."

"Yes?."

"When is this done?" asked me who was already uncomfortable with the object in my head.

Salon staff smiling. "A little while."

.........

I came out of the treatment room and saw that Mas Adam was sitting on one of the chairs here.

"Mas." called me and made him turn his head.

I don't know what's wrong with me, so Mas Adam just fell silent without a word. The look in his eyes seemed to be scanning my appearance, did I look worse?.

"Is something wrong?."

My question made her realize, she immediately shook her head quickly and smiled.

"N-no, there's nothing wrong." He scratched his nape that I believe wasn't itchy.

"Alright, let's go home." take me, Mas Adam nodded.

.........

"Why do you have to spend money on all this, even though these items and salon treatments are not very important?" asked me when we returned home by noon. We are currently sitting in the guest room.

So much shopping in front of my eyes makes me regret all the money that has been spent.

"Our wedding was so simple, so Mas wanted to buy you a lot of things."

I just smiled in response, not expecting I could marry a man who could be as considerate as Mas Adam. Although our marriage happened because of the slander of Mira.

"When are we going to legalize this marriage?" tanyaku, considering our wedding was held sirri.

If I hadn't been treated this well by Mas Adam, I probably wouldn't have wanted this marriage to be legalized and chose to leave this house. But everything that happens rather than the other way around, of course I want this marriage to be recognized by the state.

I looked at his suddenly agitated face.

"Why Mas?"

He looked at me fixedly, as if preparing to say something difficult to say.

He breathed a heavy sigh. "It seems like our marriage doesn't need to be legalized."

Wha what?.

"What do you mean?" I asked with a heart that was suddenly agitated.

Adam was silent for a moment, I don't know what was clear I felt he was restless.

"You still want to go to college?" he asked suddenly.

"Huh?." We were talking about one thing, and he was asking another. "What does this have to do with our marriage."

"The answer used to be Mas's question, do you still want to go to college and continue your education?."

Although I did not understand the direction of the conversation, I nodded. Because since I graduated High School, I really wanted to go to college.

"Then our marriage does not need to be legalized."

"What's? What are you saying, Mom? What does our marriage have to do with my desire to go to college?."

"Mas will list you in the best campus here, focus on pursuing your goals and don't think about anything else."

"Our marriage is nothing else, Mas, please don't divert the conversation."

"Campus may not forbid students from getting married, but when you enter university you are a new student. So, it would be best if no one knew if you were married."

"That's not a problem for me."

"That's a problem."

"Well, if that's a problem for me. But our marriage can still be legalized, right?."

"No."

"Why?." I really don't think it out. Actually what was on his mind to refuse to legalize our marriage.

"Mas' decision is already round, it would be better if you understand" he said and left.

Seriate.
