Daniel still looked at the pale face of the woman lying on his bed and turned around and walked out of his room. Daniel stepped onto the sofa and leaned his body against the back of the sofa.

He saw his room was empty and then he came out of the room and as he passed the bathroom there was a sound of water gurgling. Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and knocked on the bathroom door. A moment later Mary came out still with the clothes she was wearing.

Maria was already fresher after the break even though it was still a bit pale. Then Mary sat down on the couch with Daniel behind her.

" Thank you " said Maria. Daniel smiled.

" You can tell me we're friends" Daniel said. Then Maria started to tell me.

" Aunty sold her house and went home to her husband's village. And I wasn't allowed to come and then I was going to my cousin's place but in the middle of the road I was pickpocketed and when I was about to chase the pickpocket I got hit by a pickpocket motor. I was taken to the hospital because I fainted. When I realized I didn't have the money to pay for the hospital fees, I ran away" Maria said.

" There is no need to think about staying here for a while" said Daniel.

" I'm sorry to bother you" said Maria.
