Chapter 22 Hi Kinanti

This morning Daniel was tidy with his work clothes. He left his contract with his cousin who was still asleep in a dream. Then drive the motor to his workplace at moderate speed. The road is not so crowded Daniel still continues to advance his motorbike until it arrives in front of the company Nusa Group. The motor enters the gate of the company where Daniel worked. Bend the bike in the parking lot. After parking his motorbike Daniel walked into the 10-story building.

When he was about to enter the elevator he met his best friend Adi and then the two went into the elevator together. There was no chatter like they did every day they met.Tiba on the 6th floor of the elevator also stopped the elevator doors open and the two walked into their respective rooms.

Still silent when Adi said hello Daniel was still locked his mouth tight. Until he arrived in the room, Daniel did not speak. This morning Daniel seemed lazy to talk to his best friend.

Their room next to each other is just a bulkhead separating their workspace. There was no sound so early from entering the elevator to sitting in Daniel's room just silently made Adi amazed. Usually his best friend was already babbling like a finch in the morning.

Adi turned to his best friend who was staring at the laptop screen in front of him. Seeming serious about his work Adi did not ask, he then began to switch to his job which today seems to take up his time.

The flashback

As Daniel walks towards the elevator he sees Adi in the parking lot talking to someone. A beautiful woman with flickering eyes smiles on her lips. The long black hair that was left untouched wearing a blazer top and a knee-length skirt in blue low heels looked graceful.

The two walked together and separated in front of the elevator. The woman goes to the reception while Adi walks in with Daniel to their room on the 6th floor.

Flashback.

Day starts at noon in 10 minutes, time for lunch break. Daniel stretched out his hand and put it on the back of his head, closing his eyes for a moment.

Someone approached Adi's place and smiled at him.

" O Adi, O Daniel.." said the woman kindly.

" Hi Kinanti." Adi replied to the woman.

" Want lunch" Adi said again. The woman called Kinanti nodded.

" What's wrong with him." said Kinanti turning her gaze to Daniel.

Adi shrugged his shoulders while looking at his best friend. Daniel looks off at Adi and Kinanti. Daniel leaned on the back of the chair he was sitting on. And then closed his eyes.

" Come to the cafeteria don't "ask Adi on her best friend.

" No "said Daniel short.

" Yeah, come on "take Adi to Kinanti.

Adi and Kinanti stepped together towards the elevator to the second floor. After the two left Daniel opened his eyes. Daniel shook his head a little if there was a problem with his best friend, he also bothered. Basic Adi.

Daniel stepped into the elevator that would take him to the second floor. Daniel chose to join his other colleagues. Finish their lunch back in the room until the office hours.

Adi first came out of the room and Daniel followed the two to the elevator. The two entered the elevator towards the ground floor which led them to the parking lot. Adi heads to his car while Daniel picks up his favorite bike. Still loyal in the parking lot saw his best friend from a distance stop his car and then invite Kinanti in. And Adi's car drove away from the building where he worked.

Daniel shook his head to see his best friend was not deterred by his actions.

Huh! Kinanti why is he here again grumbled Daniel in the heart. What else the woman does is not bored also bothers people. Ah let it go why I'm dizzy cried Daniel again. Daniel finally drove his bike to his contract.

" It turns out you still remember where I live" said Kinanti breaking the silence. Adi smiled faintly looking towards Kinanti and then turned forward.

" How are you now" said Adi still looking ahead.

" Good and you.." asked Kinanti.

" I'm married "said Adi short.

" With Mary.." asked Kinanti again.

" No..."

" And then..."

" Sha."

" O.." that's what came out of Kinanti's thin lips. Both of them quietly wander with their own minds.

It didn't feel like we had arrived at Kinanti's contract. Car in the parking lot on the side of the road entrance alley rented Kinanti. Adi got out of the spinning car briefly opened the door for Kinanti. Then I got out of the car and thanked him. Before stepping into his contract Kinanti looked at Adi.

" Want to stop by "hagging a Win.

" What can? " tanya Adi looked towards Kinanti.

" Could of course "said Kinanti smiled meaningfully.

Adi smiled and then set foot following Kinanti towards her rented house. Arriving in front of his contract a small child ran towards Kinanti followed by the woman behind him.

" Mama.." said the little boy into Kinanti's arms. Kinanti also returned the hug of the little boy. Carrying it and kissing the child's puffed cheek.

" Mommy's not naughty, "ask Kinanti to the little boy. The boy nodded slowly. The woman who was with the boy after being close and then said goodbye to Kinanti. Kinanti nodded her head. After thanking the woman who took care of her child, Kinanti went into the house to let Adi in.

Adi was briefly stunned when a small child approached Kinanti and called her 'mama '. Adi fell silent in place while staring at Kinanti who was holding the little boy. When Kinanti entered the house the little boy came down from the sling of Kinanti and ran a little out toward Adi. The little boy stood in front of Adi.

" Papa let's go in "let the boy pull Adi's hand. Adi was surprised by the call of the little boy. Adi bent his body in alignment with the height of the child. There was a warmth he felt as one word 'father' came out from the tiny lips of a little boy. Adi smilingly pinched slowly the child's puffed cheeks.

" I'm sorry Mike likes it so much" said Kinanti turning towards the little boy. Kinanti tries to pull Mike out of Adi's hands but the boy asks Adi for a sling.

Adi then holds Mike into the house and spends the entire afternoon with Mike. Mike is very happy to play with Adi. Occasionally there was a second laugh Kinanti who saw her only son laughing felt grateful because Mike was like getting a replacement for the father figure he missed so much.

It did not feel like the day went by in the afternoon Adi paid to go home. When Adi was about to leave, Mike looked sad. The cheerful face of Mike turned sad and pulled Adi's hand not to leave him to make Adi heartless.

Then Adi persuaded Mike not to grieve because another time will play again make the little boy's face radiant again. Adi smiled as she stroked Mike's hair.

After saying goodbye Adi headed to his car and drove the car home.The car drove at medium speed in the car Adi also smiled over the incident at the house Kinanti.
