I'm sorry, My wife...
Chapter 67 Kinanti And Dimas

After arriving at the office Adi got into the elevator that will take him to his room. His face was wrinkled like he was thinking of something. The elevator opened and Adi stepped into her office. From the opposite direction Kinanti was walking towards Adi.

" Adi" said Kinanti when passing by Adi.

Kinanti grabbed Adi's hand but the mature brown-skinned man brushed it off. Adi stopped his steps.

" You did a cheap way to make my wife jealous you won't make it" Adi said.

" I'm doing this for Mike's sake, Mike needs you" said Kinanti.

" Mike needs a father but not me. I have a family and will soon have children ", Adi explained.

" But I want you Adi" said Kinanti pushy.

" Let another man be Mike's father. And don't bother me and my family again "Adi stared intently at Kinanti.

" Have you forgotten about our relationship" said Kinanti.

" Our relationship's been over a long time since you've chosen her over me. And one more thing I love my wife "Adi passed from before Kinanti.

Kinanti silently stared at the man from her past away. Kinanti wanted to surprise Adi even she herself was surprised. Aaagr! why must this be so, longing for Kinanti to shout but she realized this in the office. Kinanti walked lethargic towards her room. Why should she be your wife. Why don't I, I've been waiting for you a long time to be Mike's father. Adi's shadow when with him used to spin in his head made his head throb and then he sat leaning closed his eyes. The plan collapsed instantly the moment he met Adi. What should I do, Kinanti pondered over her.

While in Adi's room, the man in brown skin seemed to think how to persuade his wife not to be angry anymore. His gaze stared at the computer screen but his mind drifted far away somewhere. A long sigh indicates he is still thinking about his wife's attitude that seized his attention this morning.

Until the hour of Adi's office immediately clean up the files and arrange them on the table and then turn off the computer. Adi stepped uninspired to go home.

While Dimas was so busy today that until the hour he came home from work, he breathed a sigh of relief. Dimas glanced at the next table and found his chair empty. Dimas rushed to the elevator to take her downstairs.

Dimas got into the car and drove his car out of the office. When he was about to turn Dimas saw Kinanti who was waiting for transportation. Dimas pulled the car over and offered to drive Kinanti. Initially Kinanti refused because the road to her house was opposite to Dimas' house. But in the end Kinanti wanted to be escorted Dimas because of waiting for his old angkot.

Kinanti did not say much she was still thinking about Adi's words this morning. Dimas was still curious about Kinanti when he accidentally heard the Adi and Kinanti debate. His curiosity in the lentic-eyed woman made Dimas want to get to know the woman further. Dimas glanced at the listless looking Kinanti. What's wrong with the woman seems like there's something he's thinking.Dimas wants to ask but he paused.

" Where is your home ? " that's what Dimas asked.

Then Kinanti showed me the location of her house. A few moments later Dimas car arrived to the Kinanti contract. Kinanti got out of the car followed Dimas behind her.

" Where is your house ? " ask Dimas.

" Eh you why follow me " said Kinanti surprised.

" I-I just want to see your house" Dimas said reasoned.

" I don't have a house just a small contract "Kinanti smiled clumsyly.

Dimas saw the smile of the woman next to him turned out to be sweet as well. A moment Dimas was blown away with a Kinanti smile. Dimas followed Kinanti's steps until stopping at a rented house. Just when the woman was in front of the rented door, the door opened from inside. A little boy greeted Kinanti.

" Mommy" said Mike.

Dimas saw the little boy who called Kinanti as mama. Then move on to Kinanti who loves her son very much. It was seen when Kinanti met the little boy earlier.

Mike looked behind his mother standing a man Mike had never seen before.

" Who's ma" said Mike.

Mike shook his head and Kinanti carried the boy into the house. Kinanti seemed to forget that there was Dimas who had been standing with her.

" Am I not allowed to enter" Dimas said making Kinanti turn her head.

" Eh sorry please go in "kinanti said unpleasantly.

Dimas went into the house and sat on the sofa. Then Kinanti went inside for a while and then came out carrying a tray containing two glasses of juice. Behind him Mike followed his mother while holding the end of his mother's skirt.

The boy glanced at Dimas. Dimas who knows it smiles and calls Mike to come closer. Mike looked at his mother, and Kinanti nodded. Once near Dimas lifted Mike and sat him in his lap.

" What is a smart boy called ? ' asked Dimas.

" I'm mike, um who ? " back asking.

" Just call me Dimas" said Dimas.

" What om Dimas knows with papa Adi, ups "Mike covered his mouth while staring at his mother.

" Em, I'm sorry Mike likes to say so to people close to him" said Kinanti.

" Is that how close Mike is to Adi sir ? " ask Dimas.

" Yes, until Mike thinks Adi is his papa. Because Mike's biological father died when Mike was a kid" Kinanti said grudgingly.

" I'm sorry " said Dimas.

" It's okay everything's past. Mike doesn't know that his papa is dead. All he knew was that his papa had gone far away and would someday return" Kinanti said.

Dimas looked at Kinanti then turned to Mike, the little boy was so adorable. Dimas pinched slowly Mike made the owner look at Dimas. Dimas smiled making the little boy feel comfortable sitting on Dimas' lap.

" Would you be friends with me" Mike said. Dimas nodded.

" Yeaaa" cheered Mike girly.

Dimas smiled as he scrambled the little boy's hair. Kinanti smiled happily to see her son cheering in joy. It's as easy as making Mike happy. Do I have to find a replacement for his long-dead father. I wish Adi was Mike's father, but it seems Adi loves his family very much. Then I have to how, Kinanti stared at Mike. Kinanti sighed slowly eliminating the tightness in her chest.
