Husband Setting
Don't Flirt with mine!

Deciding to tell Excel that he doesn't need a shirt loan, Darren knocks on the bathroom door just to say goodbye to Jen. But up to several beats, there is no telling from inside there. He stepped out of the room, down the hallway to the floor below. Down there, the man he was looking for was walking up the stairs. Perhaps due to hearing the sound of a step, Excel looked up at him. He was surprised to see his appearance change.

"It doesn't need any more?" The man's hand shook a set of clothes he was about to give to his brother-in-law.

"I was just about to tell you ...." Darren sped up his pace, even going down the stairs deftly, until he reached in front of his sister-in-law.

Excel simply pulled one corner of his lip over. Doesn't matter. "Okay, I'll give it back first, we'll go to the dinner table together."

"Okay ..," Darren answered, the two handsome men went down the stairs and separated when Excel returned to his room, and Darren took a long chair next to the stairs. Seeing this place, it felt like only the shadow of Jen's face that was so disliked was always directed at her. Darren smiled remembering those times.

Darren was half-dreaming when he faintly heard a gentle step down the stairs. His head turned, then looked up. He immediately got up when Ranu paused for a moment and returned his gaze.

"Hi, Ran .. Would you like to go to the dinner table too?" greet Darren with a smile that is able to clench his cheeks. A smile capable of paralyzing Ranu instantly.

Ranu just nodded then continued his steps. The woman's hand was running through the shiny wood that became the handle on the stairs.

Darren followed Ranu's movements until he reached in front of him. His smile grew wider. As usual, he treated his brother-in-law.

"I went there first, Brother ..," said Ranu momentarily sweeping across Darren's face. The scent of Ranu's perfume filled the air around Darren.

"Aren't I the same?" Still smiling and trying to get rid of the thought that Ranu was different. Darren feels something has changed with Ranu's attitude towards her. He thought it would be more familiar if they had become a family. Real brother and sister. However, Ranu was like maintaining distance and attitude.

Ranu stopped his steps, his head turned and stared intently. "Sister is waiting for me? No, right?"

Darren faded his smile, Ranu's speech was the coldest and sharpest he had ever heard. What's the matter? Is it wrong to joke like always? Why wait for someone else? Can we talk here and then go to the dining table together? Because they're family, aren't they?

Ranu threw his face gracefully even though it looked as if he was holding an upset, his steps were also not hasty or stomping his feet. Quiet and gentle.

Darren's eyes were glued to the back swallowed by the passageway towards the dim dining room. Still wondering and not understanding about Ranu's sudden change.

"Come ...," the voice behind his ear made him startle and turn his head. Excel was holding the baby, while Naja walked a little away from them.

Darren looked up, as if expecting Jen to come down and get to the dining table together.

"Gee, Jen knows the way to the dinner table, don't think about her." Excel precedes Darren's step, the tip of the man's nose busy rubbing his son's cheeks that have been awakened.

Darren chuckled and hissed, "It's true to wake up when laid down?" Switching the conversation, Darren approaches Excel.

"And I told you, he doesn't want to be put to sleep, he wants to be fat." When he arrived, he put gloves on his son's fingers. Then she rubbed her husband's arm, with a grateful smile. The woman's head immediately landed on the same arm where her son was crumbling.

They stepped away from Darren. Once again Darren looked up, hoping Jen would come but until a while, there was no sound then he decided to join a very happy couple in front of him.

Chirps and laughter welcomed their arrival. Crowded and busy, some Art is delivering the food menu tonight looks passed by. They immediately raised their faces as soon as they realized their presence.

"Well, Oma's granddaughter wants to go to dinner?" Kira runs to Cio. He kissed without taking over, for fear of disturbing the comfort of his grandson's embrace of the Daddy.

"Come, soon we'll have dinner ...," said Kira then rubbed her one-on-one child, and fell into Darren in the end. "... Jen where?"

"So it's still a bath, Ma .." Darren replied.

"Oh, let's wait here, the kid's habit of taking a long bath, not to mention the makeup." He pulled Darren and brought him closer to the dining table. "Sit down."

Kira passed by and rubbed her husband's arm a glance, the diamond ring on the woman's ring finger glittering over the bright light on the dining table which was slightly lower than the other lights.

Darren approached his father-in-law, making small talk before he sat down in an empty chair. Clangs were heard again and the aroma of cooking spread more concentrated, ripping Darren's stomach liquid that felt filled his sockets.

"Come, just start .. cold hunt if you wait for Jen ...." Kira began to disperse the tranquility of the dining table by opening the plate and filling it with various food menus. Starting from chicken satay, to pecel, then processed freshwater fish including gurame.

Darren followed doubtfully, still thinking of Jen who never came, his head repeatedly stealing glances to the end of the room connected to the hallway.

"Give me what you want, don't hesitate," whispered Naja who had filled her plate with more vegetables than her rice. Naja looked unhappy to see Darren staring at his plate.

"It's for both, not for greed!" Naja covered the plate with her palms, then the lips curled angrily towards Darren. Darren just laughed and filled his own plate with the menu close to him. Gurame is too far to reach. Too bad.

"Darren, gouramenya for you, son ... why not eat?"

"Thank you, yes, Ran ...," he said with a smile as he received the plate.

Jen came in when the scene happened, the woman's eyes were round and instantly frowning. Upset of course. Very attentive to people's husbands, Jen thought. He walked quickly and took a sitting position next to Darren.

"Sorry, I'm late!" He widened his smile to everyone. But the look of Kira's eyes made Jen lift her body again, greeting her father and mother, because had not had time to meet. Then lightning-fast returned to Darren's side and managed to make the entire dining table dwellers look at him in wonder.

Not caring, he immediately took some food and occasionally offered Darren, although most were rejected, or Darren took it because he was not happy with his wife.

Throughout the meal, he keeps watching Ranu who occasionally steals glances at Darren and smiles. For some reason, Jen felt uncomfortable and upset to see this.

***

Jen stayed for a while just releasing kangen with her family. Like nothing happened in the past, the family is back in peace. Jen just returned from Naja's room when Cio began to calm down and Naja began to sleepy, when he reached the end of the hall that connects the living room and the rooms, he saw Darren talking to Ranu. He does not clearly hear their conversation but he clearly sees Ranu smiling like someone who is happy when he meets his lover. In fact, Darren ruffled Ranu's hair then stepped together towards the back of the house.

"Huh ..," Jen put her hand on her chest. Annoyed and furious, he turned his eyes away from the sight. The berserkness of Jen's various inner discussions burst into his entire body.

He bit his lower lip, holding his voice to break the heart-rending atmosphere there. You two are!

Jen walks quickly, intending to catch up with Darren who has passed to the back. While Ranu only went to the kitchen to take a drink, so he passed each other at the end of this middle room.

"Why look at me like that?" Jen asked as Ranu looked at her with a sour face.

"What does it look like?" Answer Ranu.

"Do you like Darren?" Cetus Jen is without a stale base. It looked like it was in Jen's eyes, and she seemed to have just realized it today. All Ranu's actions are because his sister likes Darren.

Ranu was aghast, but he immediately threw his face away. "I like it or don't have anything to do with my sister."

"There .. because now I'm his wife. You better throw away your feelings, Ran .. find another one. Don't be so considerate and look for opportunities to approach married men." Jen squeezes her hand, inexplicably wanting Ranu to know that Darren is only hers. He forgot everything he promised Darren.

"Forgetting someone was not easy for me, Brother .. unlike you who could forget Diego in a matter of weeks ago marrying someone else."

"What do you mean? I forgot D because she deserves to be forgotten, and then married the man I thought was right."

"really? Did you really marry the right person? Not the right escape? Or someone who is just right to be used for his good?"

Jen is frozen, thinking Ranu has figured something out. Did Darren reveal his secret? Or Ranu made up stories to let the whole house know, then separate them?

"Why? Am I speaking the truth, brother?" Ranu's question gets Jen heated up.

"Heh, I can't believe you two are disgusting, playing with marriage to solve a problem."

Jen rounded her eyes, "Dragon your talk, yes, Ran ... Who is playing with marriage? Don't think you are always considered good and loved by everyone, you just want to vilify others."

"Dissipating? Who am I disfiguring? To vilify the one who is playing with promises before God?" circus Ranu.

Plaque!

Jen's hand landed on Ranu's cheek, just when it happened, Kira who was on the top floor and Harris who had just come out of his study was surprised not to play. The two men ran to separate the angry eyesight.

"Jen, you're so outrageous to your sister!" kira snapped at Jen whose distress followed her steps up the stairs. Kira drags Jen to the second floor, taking her into her room.

Harris takes Ranu to his study. "Where is sick?"
