Darren slapped Jen's palm to the side of her lips until it was hot and a little painful.
"Darren stop!" Jen's hand stiffened, held back so that Darren could not pull it. "Is it like that to solve everything? What's the matter, anyway? What's with the food?"
Jen pulls her hand violently and violently, until the silent Darren cannot hold it. Her eyes were still staring at her husband with a gnawing feeling.
"What are you hiding from me, Ren?" jen asked softly, but Darren knew Jen was fed up with all her behavior. A rather suspicious behavior.
Darren's really out of breath now. His face is getting drowned. Weighing everything. Then she turned her head, grabbed Jen's palm and squeezed it. "Honey, ka—"
"I know you're hiding something from me, Darren. I know I'm definitely not okay when I'm treated!"
"Which, you're fine, kok—"
"Lied!" jen said quickly while shaking Darren's hand. "You know, you're the one who's selfish, Ren. If I'm okay, why did you come to me like this when it was just about food?"
Darren sighed instead of answering his wife's question. Then he stood up and stepped with a forced step towards the table where there were a lot of drawers under it. Darren pulled out an envelope that he had memorized out of his head.
"This what?" Jen asked as the envelope had changed hands to her. "This is mine?" Jen opened it quickly regardless of the silent Darren.
"I have cancer? Can't be healed?" Jen's eyes twitched, her lips muttered word for word on the crumpled-looking paper, occasionally frowning because she did not understand the medical terms she had first encountered.
"You're positively infected with toxo virus, which ..you have to test again tomorrow or tomorrow." Darren looks desperate and powerless to look at Jen. As a diversion, he shifted the tray containing the already slightly cold food to the table at the side of the bed.
"Is that deadly?" Jen closes the sheet that makes her head dizzy. "we're going to die?"
Darren put down the plate he was holding with a jolt in the middle of his chest. "I didn't know you were happy to be separated from me!" That really hurts. Is it okay another question, or a slightly reasonable response, to cry for example? Sobbing and lamenting? Not looking enthusiastic and saying as if dying is an easy thing.
"Yes .. from the looks of it, I mean, you seem exaggerated, snapping, rude, and like you're not the usual." Jen was a little sorry to put her husband's words in excess.
Jen bit her lip. "they're okay, right?"
Darren sighed again. "I hope you are well, eat well, and take care of yourself. Maybe it could reduce the effects of the parasite."
So far, we can only hope that nutrition and nutrition can increase immunity and allow Jen's body to form antibodies naturally. Although there is some help of drugs, but better Jen's body is able to fight the virus. All the ways that are said to be good and recommended by Doctor Andina, Darren agreed unilaterally without involving Jen.
"That's all?" jen asked a little in disbelief. "Doctor Andina can I call, can't ya, now? I need to know how they are!"
"For now, the drugs prescribed for you are more than capable of suppressing their exposure to the virus, which ...we will test again tomorrow or the day after, as you can." Darren was rather surprised to see Jen's unexpected reaction. Could it be that behind the lightning that appeared in those eyes he actually wanted to cry?
"Tomorrow then, even if I feel good, but I need to know how they are going to be soon."
Jen looks hot, but maybe it's because she's not calm. Just hiding. And, this is what Darren really doesn't want, Jen starts to become secretive about her feelings.
"Aren't you scared?"
"I'm just afraid of them for nothing" Jen replied with eyes that were nourished by a clear liquid.
