Sacrifice

Kevin was sitting in the room while tidying up the job application files. The plan is tomorrow he will start applying for jobs in several places close to his home.

"Sister, can I make you some tea?" Suddenly Keisha comes from behind the door and surprises Kevin.

"May, if you don't mind."

"Happy," said Keisha, then pulled her head back, disappeared and went into the kitchen.

"Why doesn't Brother ever go to the office again?" ask Keisha in her heart. "Did he stop?...What happened that night that made Brother stop?" Keisha continued to monologue with herself until she finally finished making a glass of warm tea to accompany her brother.

"Thank you!" kevin said while stroking the top of his sister's head.

"Sister, may I ask you something?"

"Can."

"I haven't seen Brother in a few days at the office. Brother quit work?"

Kevin who initially looked cheerful was suddenly moody. What he had to say to his only sister. What if Keisha finds out she's completely quit her job.

"You don't have to think about that, Kei. You're the only school that's diligent!" Kevin hugged Keisha.

"What was the reason that night that brother got kicked out of the company?"

"Where do you know"

"I already know everything. I also know that Natalie's sister's boss is married."

"So you know everything?"

Keisha nodded. "I accidentally heard the talk of the person who tied me up. They told me that Sister Natalie's husband came that night, and they also said that Kak Natalie's husband was Big Brother's boss."

Apparently Keisha already knew that Natalie was married to another man who turned out to be the boss of her own brother.

Keisha feels guilty. If only he had known everything in the first place, maybe he wouldn't have gotten Kevin out of his workplace.

"Why did you ever leave for work?" Keisha raised his head.

"Sister just wanted to find a new atmosphere. Smoke in there," he lied.

"Really?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Keisha smiled in Kevin's arms, although Keisha was not too sure of Kevin's answer, but at least she felt calm about apologizing.

"Sir, thank you!"

"For what?" asked Kevin while stroking the top of his sister's head.

"Because you've been a big brother, Dad and Mom for me."

Suddenly the mood was silent. Keisha's words really filled Kevin's heart. Her struggle to raise Keisha to this point has indeed passed many obstacles. Kevin is alone, and as a man, must learn how to care for his little sister. Keisha needs special attention.

Kevin's eyes started to pierce. "Don't talk like that! because it's your brother's responsibility as your dear brother."

Keisha shook his head. "But Keisha feels really very lucky to have an older brother like Kevin. Big Brother always tried to give my best, and Big Brother also never saw the slightest bit of sadness my big brother."

"Your duty is to be a diligent school, so that you can be proud of your father and mother in heaven. Don't think about Brother, because Brother can take care of his own needs."

Keisha is really happy and proud to be born the younger brother of Kevin. It all came out of his eyeballs. Kevin is a boy who is very responsible for his family.

"Keisha dear Brother," said Keisha as she hugged Kevin tightly.

"Sister too," Kevin replied as he tightened his embrace on Keisha.

"Nat, don't ever walk away from me! .. Don't do anything stupid like the woman in the movie. Because I'll never be able to live without you."

Natalie gaping is not pecaya. Are these words just now true to his reality, or is Nicholas just fooling him like he used to.

Natalie hurriedly pulled her hand. Erick who regained his senses from his phone glanced next to him. "Why, Nat?"

"I know you'll never trust me again, Nat!" nicholas murmured in his heart.

Flashback OFF

Natalie stared at meu on the face that was now focusing on playing the phone beside her. They returned home after watching the movie. Without dinner as Erick had imagined, Nicholas immediately forced Natalie home on the grounds that Erick had no right to take her secretary's dinner outside of work hours.

"Is he really afraid of losing me?" inner Natalie.

Natalie hastily turns her eyes away when Nicholas realizes that she is being noticed.

Seeing Natalie had closed her eyes, Nicholas turned her face back to the gadget screen in front of her. He was reading a report his employees emailed about some stock increases in some of his company's branches.

A few minutes later, Natalie opened her eyes. There was a question he had wanted to ask all along. Regarding his mother's circumstances, how did Nicholas treat his mother all this time? is he okay.

"How's my mom doing?" ask Natalie.

Nicholas stopped the movement of his finger that was surfing above his phone screen "He's fine. No need to worry!"

After answering the question, Nicholas continued his activities.

Hearing the answer from Nicholas, it feels like Natalie is relieved, although actually nothing is okay when she finds out her mother is in a group of men who have a grudge on her family.

"I want to meet him."

Nicholas glanced straight at Natalie. "can't. He can't be found suddenly."

"Why not?"

Nicholas looked back at his cell phone screen.

"Nicho!!! answer me! why can't I go see my mom?. .. Where did you hide my mom?"

"In a distant place" said Nicholas.

"Ckk," Natalie piqued. "Yes, where? how far is it? on a different continent? ... Not right?"

Discussing Nadia's problem, suddenly made Nicholas not concentrate on his activities. He hurriedly pulled the blanket and closed the screen of his phone, kept the flat object on the nightstand, then turned on his night light and turned off the headlight. "Talk it next time! I'm sleepy."

Natalie's really upset. It could be that Nicholas suddenly said sleepy when asked about the news of his mother, but from earlier Natalie did not see the slightest sign of Nicholas sleepy.

"I know you don't really sleep" Natalie said. "Remember, Nic! if you hurt my mother, I won't hesitate to report you for the mistreatment."

Nicholas opened his eyes under his blanket, he listened to what Natalie was talking about but had no intention of answering.

"If hurting me can help reduce your resentment, then do it as you please, I'm ready to endure it!"

Nicholas was stunned to hear the statement of the woman he had placed beside him. If Natalie had known, Nicholas would never have been willing to see Natalie hurt. Selfishness and blindness of the eyes of his heart that has made the spirit of lust always triumph in holding back his emotions.

"But I beg you! never hurt my family. Enough of me to be your impingement." Natalie tried to hold tightness in her chest. "I sincerely bear it all, hikss." Natalie cried after saying those words. He was honestly not sure of the words he had just said. But that was all he could do to protect his family, he loved his family more than he has today.

Such is the love of a child to his parents, although a child often hurts the feelings of parents because of the tongue, but in fact a child will not be willing to see his parents hurt.
