Nicholas is now in the car with a man who is always beside him, Reynald of course.
"Hurry, Reynald!" Nicholas Letters.
No answer, Reynald just nodded and then increased the speed of his car.
The luxury car sped up, splitting the city streets.
Prerack
Nicholas just threw his cell phone. Already several times Nicholas tried to contact Natalie, but the results remain nil.
"What's really going on with you?" nicholas' mind kept rumbling.
"Reynald," Call Nicholas.
"Yes, Sir."
"You haven't told me yet, how do you know Natalie's in the hospital?"
"Oh, that's Mister. There was one employee who gave me information."
"Employees?" repeat Nicholas, "what's his name?"
Jesus, Reynald forgot to ask the name of the informing lady.
"Sorry, Sir. I forgot to ask the name of the woman. But .. "
"But what?" Nicholas asked the question again, impatient.
"But I remember, he was a team employee with the man who hit me last afternoon, sir."
"Kevin?" Nicholas Gumam. He remembered that the man who hit Reynald this afternoon was Kevin. "Does this mean Natalie's hospital admission has anything to do with Kevin?"
"Reynald, we need to get to the hospital right away!"
"Ah, yes Sir. Fine." Reynald has accelerated his car.
---***---***---
After feeling better, Natalie took off her hug with Kevin.
"Vin, did you bring my phone?"
Kevin shook his head. He recalled, he had no time to bring Natalie's phone because he was too worried about the woman.
"I'm sorry, Nat. I was so worried about you, I forgot to bring your phone."
"Oh, that's gpp."
Kevin saw the look on Natalie's face back moody.
"Do you want to contact someone?" Kevin reached into a flat object from behind his pants pocket and handed it to Natalie, "just wear mine first!"
Natalie's aghast, no. This is impossible. Natalie wants to tell Nicholas she's not home. Because Natalie's afraid Nicholas will be mad at her when she doesn't find Natalie at home.
If she used Kevin's cell phone to contact her husband, Nicholas would have been furious and did not hesitate to do the threat at that time.
"Ah, no need, Vin. I just want to know my phone."
"Really?"
"Hmppp," replied Natalie with a sweet smile that always made Kevin fall in love.
"So," Kevin put the flat object back in his pants pocket, "Nicholas knows, anyway."
Natalie scrunched up her forehead, why was Kevin able to read his mind at this moment. Natalie wants to call Nicholas. Is Kevin a shaman? inner Natalie.
"I've asked Eliza to meet Nicholas' confidant to tell you what your current situation is."
"So Kevin already told Nicholas." Natalie's great-grandson in his heart.
"Keep, what did Eliza say?" Natalie panic. Whether Eliza only met with Reynald or directly met with Nicholas. Natalie is afraid that Eliza will meet with Nicholas, and Nicholas will not care about the information. Natalie's afraid Eliza knows the truth. Natalie fears Eliza knows Nicholas' true nature.
"Eliza said Nicholas left the office shortly after he gave the information."
"Nicholas out of the office? does that mean he'll come to see me?" Natalie's mind goes back to wondering. "but is it possible that she's worried about me?" continued, bathed.
If you remember what happened last night, it seems Natalie does not want to be too confident that Nicholas is currently worried about her. Maybe Nicholas came out because there was a meeting with his client, Natalie thought.
But, if it turns out that Nicholas is really coming, Kevin has to get out of here. He didn't want Nicholas to see them both in a room like this. It could be dangerous for Kevin.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Kevin asked to see Natalie staring at him like she was worried. "You're afraid Nicholas's mad because I'm here?"
Natalie remained silent and did not answer Kevin's question. Kevin's guess is right. Once again it felt like the title of shaman was indeed worthy of him.
Kevin got out of his chair, "you take it easy! I'll be home before Nicholas comes." Kevin said as he got up from his seat. "But promise me one thing!" Kevin held Natalie's hand tightly. "If anyone hurts you, tell me!"
Natalie was speechless, she saw a ray of light from Kevin's eyes so sincere to her. Kevin's eyes seemed to say that he was very afraid Natalie was hurt.
Honestly, Natalie is very happy because there are still people who are really worried about her current situation.
"Hmppp," Natalie nodded with a smile.
Kevin returned Natalie's warm smile and ruffled Natalie's long hair.
"I'll go first!" His words that soon he finally stepped foot, out of Natalie's room because he thought soon Nicholas would get to that place. Kevin won't make a fuss in front of Natalie. Even if his anger is eager to finish off the men brengs*k, but Kevin think this is not the right time and time.
Natalie was still fixated with her smile staring at Kevin's departure until the man completely disappeared from her sight. For some reason Natalie suddenly felt claustrophobic, she should have received this kind of attention not from Kevin, but from Nicholas. Again, Natalie wished for the man.
Slender.
That's what Natalie feels right now.
It's been about 30 minutes ago since Kevin's departure, in fact Nicholas never came. The assumption is right, Nicholas does seem to go out of the office just for a meeting. Not to meet him.
Who is he anyway? Only the wife is not considered, her inner self.
Suddenly, a drop of her tears came back. He wiped it, then chose to get out of bed and walked slowly closer to the window. Trying to find fresh air, so that his condition will recover and can immediately go home from this place.
He looked out the window which clearly showed the ground floor of the hospital. A lot of people were busy passing by, there was a man pushing his woman's wheelchair, there was a young woman who was feeding her man, what a romantic scene, her inner self.
Even where Natalie stands today can also make us see a green garden. Just by looking at it we can feel its freshness.
In the park, Natalie's eyes accidentally saw a pair of elderly humans sitting casually in the corner of the park. While leaning his head on the old grandfather's shoulder. The grandmother looked at the blue sky while pointing at the birds flying freely in the air.
Very simple. But Natalie saw happiness so clearly etched from the faces of the two who threw each other a genuine smile.
A little implied envy. Natalie thought, will she and Nicholas ever get to that point? The point where there is only love left, waiting for death to reunite them to a different realm of money.
But it felt like that hope was too much for him for now. Hope to get old? where possible. Not a month of marriage, Nicholas dumped her. Especially later, Natalie thought.
Natalie's tears are back. He lowered his face, closed his eyes, hoping for a strength that could calm his heart at this moment.
It looks like God answered Natalie's do'a. He really felt a touch. The hug that used to warm up every day. A hug that always calms his anger.
The roaring breath was also familiar to Natalie.
"Nicholas." Natalie's great-grandson. He tried to turn his body around, but Nicholas instead held back and tightened his embrace.
"Don't move! let it be like this, just for a second."
