Ending part 6

Before I go into the story, I want to tell you, if after you know that Nicholas is gone. This story will repeat aka flashback how the story of Nicholas before he died.

Because you must have been surprised by the part that suddenly reported that Nicholas was dead after ten years later. And this is a flashback ten years ago.

Two hours have passed.

Natalie sleeps in Nicholas' lap after crying. His eyes were careless because they held back his tears from spilling over.

While Nicholas patiently continued to stroke his hand, face to the belly of his distended wife. "My son, you have to promise. Later you'll be keeping Mama in place of Papa huh Son!"

I don't know where the wind from Nicholas feels he can't keep going like this.

"Am I going to keep going like this?" his mind in the heart. Suddenly imagined the dream Natalie had earlier. With Natalie dreaming of being able to circle the ocean with her, dancing under the stars, Nicholas is eager to realize all his female dreams before he is truly gone for good.

"I cannot just sit back and wait for my death to come to this place. Yes, I must give happiness to the woman who has sacrificed all her time and all her body for me."

Nicholas grabbed his phone. He's calling someone.

"Yes, in fifteen minutes I'll get to your place. Prepare everything I ask!"

Nihcolas hung up on him.

Natalie awakens when she hears Nicholas talking to someone. "Who, Nic?" natalie asked as she rubbed her eyes.

Nicholas got off his bed. He tidied up some of the things he was going to bring.  "Come, baby. We have to get out of this place."

"Where to go?" Natalie came down from her bed.

There's no answer. Nicholas was still busy struggling, he also changed his clothes.

"Tell me! where are you taking me?" ask Natalie.

"We're going to leave this hospital" Nicholas replied as he tidied his patient's shirt on the bed. "I bought an island. We're gonna stay there, and we're gonna live out your dreams together, baby." Nicholas turned his body towards Natalie. He also cupped Natalie's face. "You want to sail, don't you?. You want to dance under the stars, right?"

Natalie took Nicholas' hand off his face. "You what the hell Nic? .. I did dream it all with you. But this is not the right time to do that. We'll stay here until you're healed. We're not going anywhere."

Nicholas took a deep breath. It seemed like he had to explain this first before taking the woman away.

"Darling, it's good for me! .. We both know that my disease is not cancer in general. You, me and the doctors even know that until now the cure for my illness could not be found."

"Not no, Nic. But not yet," sergeant Natalie. "Anyways, we'll stay here." Natalie denies Nicholas. He even returned to take out the things that Nicholas had put in a small suitcase.

"Nat, you see me!" Nicholas brought his face closer, "Look at me, Nat! look at my head!" He even pointed at his head which was currently thinning his hair. "Every day my hair is thinning. I didn't know this would happen until when? ... Maybe in a week or two I'll lose all my hair. You know what that means?"

Natalie fell silent and could not answer.

"That means the time of my death is just a matter of time, Nat. Or maybe just count the days ... And I, I don't want to spend my time in this place, be quiet and just be quiet, I don't want to. I want to have good memories with you."

Natalie's eyes began to heat up, and the water began to glow.

Nicholas looked so begging. "Please, I beg you! give me a chance for just this once to bring you happiness."

"You're happy, but not with me" Nicholas joked. "I'm tormented, Nat. I'm tormented because I can't make my woman happy." Nicholas shed his tears. "I beg you, let me carve out a beautiful story as well as realize all your dreams, before the end of time really no longer gives us a chance to be together."

The song above is a very representative song of Natalie's feelings for Nicholas.

The song I always play when I write this novel.

Natalie always feels perfect when she is with her husband. Even though her husband is not as healthy as he used to be.

Natalie always felt lucky to be a part of Nicholas' life.

The song 'Takkan After from Kak Della Firdatia tells the story of a pair of people who have to separate because of their destiny that may not be able to make them continue together.

Like the story of Natalie and Nicholas. They had to be willing to part because Nicholas could not last much longer.

But before that happens, in this story Nicholas asks for a memory that will never be forgotten. Memories that can be something sweet and beautiful to remember.

Memories that one day will be Natalie's reason to remember her name.

That same afternoon Nicholas took Natalie away from the hospital.

Although at first Natalie was hesitant and afraid, but seeing how much hope her husband finally Natalie could only resign. What Nicholas said has a point, too. He was eager to carve out those fond memories, at least once before they were completely separated for good.

Five hours later.

Right at 22:00

Nicholas's best friend has completed the task at once Nicholas' request.

Buy an island not far from where it is today.

"This is the key to his house!" nicholas's best friend gave Nicholas the key.

"Thank you" said Nicholas.

The look of a face full of sadness in the face of his friend. He seemed to be just as worried about Nicholas' health that his face just now looked pale.

"Don't worry about me. I'll be fine."

As if he understood, Nicholas answered his friend's concerns.

"Yes. I hope so too" said his friend. After that he left, leaving Natalie and Nicholas in a new place.

A magnificent house with a romantic feel and its island, successfully obtained at a fantastic price. Obviously his best friend did not have time to negotiate first, because Nicholas asked him very suddenly.

But all that is meaningless because now all that is in Nicholas' mind is how to quickly realize all the dreams of Natalie.

Since the trip from the hospital to come to this island, Natalie did not talk much. He only smiled when he answered the greeting, and nodded if it was 'yes', also shook his head if the answer was 'no'. That's all it is. Because he did not know, whether the way they went was right.

Natalie chose to walk to the beach before entering the magnificent house, and Nicholas tailed behind her.

"Darling!" call Nicholas.

"From today, this place will be a witness to our love. And from today on, I'll name this island 'Island of Hope'."

"Why is the island of hope?" ask Natalie while turning her body

Nicholas smiled as he held his wife's face. "Because I hope, in this place, God will grant our hopes."

Natalie was overwhelmed by Nicholas's response. He didn't realize he was shedding his tears again. "Yes, I hope." He sobbed in Nicholas's hand. "Hopefully in this place God will hear all our do'a do'a. And I won't ask for more than one hope. Because my only wish is to see you as healthy as ever, my husband."

"Yes, honey. Thank you for your sincerity. I feel like I'm the luckiest guy to have a woman like you."
