Hugged Me

Hugged Me
Chapter 14

Tired, it feels useless against toxic people like Venus and the Moon. The sun glared, he chose to leave them for the peace of his brain and heart.

“You're not papa?” ask Venus to the Moon.

The moon shook her head. He stared at Venus with eyes that looked reassuring to Venus.

“I'm not papa, Brother. We leave now yes, later to be hunted late,” said the Moon diverted the attention of Venus from the Sun.

Although her heart felt a little upset over the Sun's rude attitude, Venus could not really be angry with her ex-lover. Venus's gaze continued to accompany the departure of the Sun until the girl disappeared from her sight.

Venus turned her eyes to the moon. He nodded his head at the Moon, then they walked side by side to the Venus motor. Soon they left.

Unbeknownst to Venus, the Sun is looking at it that is showing attention to the Moon. The Sun's heart throbbed pain, its eyes began to heat up wanting to spill the clear liquid but as powerful as the Sun held it back.

Both hands of the Sun clenched tightly, his eyes closed for a moment.

“You're home, Matahari.”

The sun opened his eyes as Indira's voice greeted his hearing. He looked towards the source of the voice with a flat gaze.

“It so happens that once the new mama just finished cooking, you eat first yes,” said Indira while keeping a plate containing the food she cooked on the dining table.

“Papa where?” ask the cold sun.

Instead of answering Indira's words, the Sun turned the conversation away by asking her where her father was.

“Papa had left for the office this morning,” Indira replied still with a friendly expression.

The sun just nodded. Without paying attention to Indira the girl walked to her room on the second floor. However, just as his foot stepped on the stairs, his steps were forced to stop as Indira spoke to him again.

“Sun,” call Indira.

The sun was shaking but his position was still turned back to Indira.

“Starting today you must be willing to share a place to stay with Moon,” said Indira. There was a pause for a few seconds before the woman continued her words. “Like or do not like the reality will remain the same, that month your sister. So, you have to learn to accept it from now on.”

The sun smiled knot. He turned around until his position faced each other with Indira. The sun looked at Indira seriously with one eyebrow raised upwards.

“Adik, yes?” The sun nodded its head. Then the girl folded her hands on her chest with her gaze still fixed on Indira. “Surely he's Papa Hadi's biological son? Can Auntie give you proof that Moon is my sister?”

Both of Indira's eyes are perfectly rounded. His jaw hardened along with both of his hands clenched tightly.

“Dragon talks, Sun! Don't make slander carelessly,” Indira growled.

“I'm not slandering, really. I was again asking the same Aunt, but seeing the response of Aunt like this even made me more confident with my mind that the Moon is not the son of Papa Hadi, but the response of this kind of aunt,” said Matahari while reviewing a slanted smile impressed mocking.

Indira's eyes glared perfectly. He was really offended by the words of the Sun who dared to doubt the status of the Moon as Hadi's biological child.

The sun stepped up and stopped right in front of Indira who was still staring at him with a hateful look.

“Tante don't have to pretend to be good with me. Anyway now Papa is not home, will not know also the true nature of Aunt,” said Matahari, sucks.

Indira's jaw hardened, both hands clenched tightly. He felt so eager to tear the Sun apart that his body was smashed to pieces. However, Indira tried her hardest to remain calm in facing the Sun. He did not want to be lured by his stepson.

After being satisfied provoking Indira's emotions, the Sun turned around and walked on to continue his intention that had been restrained. He went to his room. There is still time, the Sun will be preparing to go to school.

If time could be replayed and the Sun could bid on fate then he would choose not to be born into this world. Especially when the fact has slapped the Sun that its presence in the universe is not expected, especially by his father.

Unlike its name, the destiny of the Sun's life is not as bright as the sun that always shines. He could not shine and warm his own heart. From childhood he never felt the attention of a father, only his mother was always there. Not even infrequently the Sun heard his parents had a big fight. And the trigger is himself.

At that time the Sun did not know the reason why Hadi hated him. Even though he often asked the mother, but did not forget to get an answer.

“Papa don't hate you, honey. Papa was just tired because of a lot of work in the office,” replied the mother at that time when the Sun asked about his papa.

“But Papa does not love the Sun, Ma. Proof Papa never want to play with the Sun.”

Her mother shook her head. He rubbed the top of the Sun's head with tenderness and affection. “Papa love you, Darling.”

“No, Papa does not love the Sun. Is the Sun not Papa's son? Hence Papa always cuekin Matahari.”

Again the mother shook her head, denying the Sun's bad thoughts. “There is like that. You're our daughter, Papa Hadi's biological son.”

“If you want Papa to love you, you must be a good child and diligent in learning. Make Papa proud of your achievements in school.”

The sun smiled wryly after pulling away from his daydream. A second later he let out a rough sigh.

Mom lied. In fact, even though Matahari has been a good and diligent child, even since Kindergarten until this moment he always ranked first in school, but his papa still does not care about him.

And there was one thing that her mother had been hiding but the Sun managed to find out, the fact that her father did not want a daughter. Yes, the Sun knew all that by accident when he heard a conversation between his parents that led to a quarrel between them.

Remembering all of that all of a sudden the Sun's chest felt throbbing pain like slashed by an invisible sharp object. The girl's reflexes clenched her hands over her thighs.
