chapter.24. Opportunities and Questions

Time passes so fast. Andrew joined Grande Corp 2 years ago in Salaria. The city of Salaria is hundreds of kilometers from the city of Agria.

There was no farewell or farewell from Andrew. He left without any news at all.

Currently Chris is already in Milan for business. 1 week we will go together to the hamlet of Asri Valley.

"I miss you too much Chris" I replied in a text message.

The night after I finished my bath, I opened my laptop. Start surfing reading news in cyberspace. In the top corner appear ads from job vacancy websites. I was pushed to open it.

After reading some job vacancies posted there. I've been posting resumes at some companies that I find interesting.

Not that I don't feel at home with the office right now. But I'm a little uncomfortable with the privilege I got. Had I worked anywhere else, people would have seen my hard work. Not from whom my partner.

Riing. ring. Chris's name appears.

"Yes Chris" I said in response to a phone call from him.

"Darling.me.u.m missing you" said Chris from across the street.

At one lunch hour. My phone's ringing. I saw a phone number I didn't know. When I lift..

"Good day with Miss Sally, we're from Ferie Group. We received your application a few days ago for the position of Finance Manager. Can you come to our office in 3 days for an interview? The clock can be at any time according to your time. We can start at 9am until 7pm." ask the voice of the woman from the phone across there.

"Yes right I'm Sally. 3 more days yes, a minute.. Yes I can but after 6pm." I replied.

"Okay, our address is at Smurk Hotel. See you in 3 days at our place. You'll meet me soon Anatastasia. Thank you for the time" said the woman ending the conversation.

"Well, thank you for your chance." I replied.

Then each phone is closed.

I got an interview call from Ferie Group. A Danish company that has many resorts and luxury hotels.

"Your passion and your qualifications match what we are looking for. We accept you to join our company. But for later placement in the city of Contento. Are you ready?" ask Anastasia.

"Before thank you for the opportunity that has been given. Can I take the time to consider it?" bargain him.

"Well, we give you 1 week to consider" Anastasia replied.

"Thank you" I replied.

"Thank you for the time. We are very much waiting for your answer." continued Anatasia.

"I'll give you the answer soon." I said as I stood up and welcomed Anastasia's hand.

On the way home I thought, should I accept or not the opportunity? If I accept it, what is the right reason to tell Chris.

Well, I'll tell Chris everything first. I'll see how he reacts. There is still time to answer.

Early in the morning Mr. Don picked me up at Mess to be dropped off at the airport on Chris' orders. I'm going to get on the first plane. Afterwards I will meet Chris in the city of Hope and together to my house in the hamlet of Asri Valley.

"Thank you, Mr. Don." I said, I'm done giving Mr. Don my suitcase from the trunk of the car.

"Thank you again Ms. Sally, be careful on the road and good luck to the destination" replied Mr. Don.

"Amin, thank you for your prayers sir." I said.

Then Mr. Don nodded and got into the car and left. While I entered the airport to the check in section.

I have arrived at the Harapan airport.

I haven't seen him in 2 hours. I called, got into the mail box. I'm afraid something happened to her. It should have been a matter of time he had arrived 30 minutes earlier than the plane that was taking me.

"Sorry Mom" replied Paul timidly. In the end, I followed my steps behind.

We waited 3 hours for Chris. But I haven't found her figure yet. Her phone number is still not available for contact.

Ring ring. Mr. Paul's cell phone rang.

"Yes ma'am, well ma'am" she replied to someone across the street.

Not long after the phone was switched off.

"Bu Sally, earlier Ms. Claudia said, I was asked to take Mother first to the hamlet of Asri Valley. Ms. Claudia also advised that Mr. Chris would follow later. Mr. Chris is late because there is an unfinished business in Milan. Let's Mom, I take the car first ya." explained Mr. Paul then berampit to pick up the car in the parking lot.

"Ok Sir!" I answered, then headed to the airport lobby waiting for Mr. Paul to pick me up.

"Why can't I call Chris? Then if he can contact Claudia, why not tell me directly? Ah maybe her cell phone ran out of battery and she remembered her home phone number." Thought positive.

Not long after the car came, Paul and I headed for my hamlet. A text message from me to Chris has not been sent since. That indicates his phone is not active yet.
