Early in the morning, Chris arrived at our house. He drives his own vehicle. Mr. Paul went home last night after dropping off Mr. Chris, to celebrate the holiday with his family.
"Good morning!" said Mr. Chris from out there.
"Please come in, son, have a seat!" answer Pa.
Then continue with another conversation.
I see Pa's familiar with Mr. Chris. They met for the first time yesterday.
And why did Pa call "Son" to Mr. Chris? Looks like something's been missing from me.
Mey, Ma and I were busy in the kitchen preparing a special feast. The preparation of a common prayer to the Creator is ready.
After praying together, we enjoyed the dishes available. Chris is no longer awkward. He felt like a boy in this family.
More day the neighbors come to visit each other. Not to miss Mena and Kela my best friend.
"Menaa.. Kelaa. I miss you guys!" greet me with a hug when I see my best friend coming.
"Me too!" said Kela.
"Me too!" mena said she didn't want to lose.
They were amazed to see Mr. Chris in the middle of our family.
"Sall, who is that? You owe us a story. 2 years to go home and bring a future husband." whispered Kela to me.
"Not later I explain." I replied while glaring at Kela.
"Let's not go home first yes I have a little souvenir for you and Mena" I said.
Guests mingle with each other. Little Mey also plays with her friends.
But something made me not like. Pa introduced Mr. Chris to his neighbors and friends. He's my boss, my neighbors and my extended family think the others. I have nothing to do with Mr. Chris.
While Mr. Chris looks happy to be introduced here and there. As if he knew I was watching, he looked at me. A super sweet smile and a glance she gave me. I was wrong trying to take my eyes off to another place.
I took my best friend to my room to pick them up.
"Because.. Kela. please don't get me wrong. The man is my boss." I said.
I continued with the story at Agria Airport until I arrived home.
She laughed and Kela too.
"Sally, you're why you're such a fool. There are well-established, handsome, handsome, and mature men who are willing to take you home, willing to mingle with your family and relatives. Why is it still like that?" said Mena.
"If I did, first meet a man like that is definitely immediately in love." continued Mena accompanied by laughter.
"Not much thought, open your heart Sally. Until when will you be alone. It doesn't disturb your dreams, does it? Is that right, Kela?" mena asked for Kela's support.
Answered a nod from Kela.
"The problem is not that, I'm still not sure of my heart. I haven't made a choice" I replied.
"Well!! The choice? You mean there's another guy? Likewhat? How much better is Chris?" Mena leaned me with questions.
"Yes." I answered and put my face between my knees.
"Yes if you are confused. Slowly see which one fits better in your heart. Don't make the wrong choice. And don't take too long. Top Quality like Mr. Chris is rare!" said Mena trying to calm me but while teasing.
Kela rubbed my hair.
"Oh, I almost forgot. It's for you!" I gave it to two of my best friends.
"Wow! thank you." replied Mena and Kela simultaneously.
"Where's Sally?" mey's voice sounded from outside.
"What's wrong with Mey?" answer me out of the room.
"So Tom's brother came outside!" mey said then passed to play again with her friend.
"Tom?" I looked at my two best friends. Then we went out to meet Tom.
"Hey Tom, where have you been. I think it's been swallowed by the earth." said Mena joking.
"Hi all!" tom replied and glanced at me.
"Where have you been? It's noon you guys grab some food first!" said Ma.
"Yes Ma" I answered
"Yes Aunty" replied Tom, Mena, and Kela.
"I'm hungry, I can't wait to enjoy the wonderful aunt's cooking" Mena said as she headed to the dinner table. Kela followed behind.
My friends are fans of Ma's cooking, too, like me. Every time I bring food supplies to school they almost never miss tasting.
As I was about to move, Tom pulled my hand.
"Sally, I want to talk!" his rest
"Yes, what's up Tom?" I sat down again, this time next to him.
"Have you read my pocket book?" ask Tom.
I answered with a nod.
"Do you want to do that Sall? You're waiting for me, right?" ask Tom again.
"Sorry Tom, I can't give you an answer. I was honestly surprised to read your book. But can we stay as friendly as we used to be, Tom?" I said.
"Ok means your answer is no" said Tom, taking a heavy breath.
"I deliberately went back to the Valley of Asri, for I had news from Lazo that you were coming home. I ventured to see you so I knew what my next move would be." continued Tom
"Tom, I never thought that our relationship would change from friendship. In fact, not all this time we've been like brothers. It's hard for me to have any other feelings between us." I said.
"I can't force or restrain you if you want to keep going as before. Nor can I lie to you with a sense that there really isn't." I said again.
Tom was holding the top of my head.
"Yes Sally, I understand. Forgive me for turning away from our friendship. Thank you for being my best friend. Can I be your best friend again?" tom said as he stroked my hair.
I answered with a very sweet nod and smile.
"Damor!" there was a voice I seemed to know.
I raise my head that was bowed to the origin of the voice earlier. Turns out the owner of the voice was Mr. Chris as I thought.
"Oh yeah, Tom this is Mr. Chris my boss in the office. And Mr. Chris this is Tom my best friend." I said introducing them both.
A forced smile was seen from the faces of the two of them.
"Girl!" extending a hand to Tom.
"Tom!" tom said as he welcomed Mr. Chris' hand.
"Hmm. We take yuk food, I'm hungry." trying to break the tension between them.
I pulled the hands of the two of them with my right and left hands towards the dining table.
Not just there. Mr. Chris and Tom acted like little kids fighting over toys until they both came home.

The house is clean again. Our family is exhausted. Then we rested in our own rooms.
Drrrt. drrt. my phone is shaking, it looks like there's a message coming in.
"Tomorrow morning please take me around the hamlet. At 7 am I pick up. It's orders!" text message from Chris.
Haduh began again the nature of forcing her.
"Well sir" I answered the text message.
