The Past (9)

Cheers of joy were heard in the courtroom. Luther had already hugged Emy who was sobbing, Keanan and Evan also ran and hugged Emy. The three of them took turns kissing Emy's forehead and cheeks. They brought Emy home and served her a lot of good food.

But it turns out the storm did not stop there. 3 months after Emy returned to work, Emy got word dr. Sie has spleen cancer. Emy wants to come back but dr. Sie forbid.

Finally, Emy uses most of her time, for research into making cancer drug formulas and also reading many articles about cancer.

Fortunately, Emy has hired designers, from Keanan's recommendations, so Emy has been helped a little for L'amour. Luther returned to New York after Emy's trial ended.

One morning, Emy gets a lot of flowers and chocolates, which she doesn't know where. Emy shared all her chocolates with the nurses and even gave them to the halfway house and Keanan. It lasted for almost 1 month.

In the morning, as Emy finishes her night shift, Emy walks alone to a halfway house a few blocks away from the hospital. Usually Evan or Keanan pick up, but at that time Evan was out of town to take care of the halfway house that would be opened, while Keanan he fell asleep after a night he made his script proposal.

A car stopped near Emy, seeing someone she knew, Emy smiled and agreed when she was invited into a sedan with the symbol of 3 circles in hand. Emy becomes so awkward being in the car with the person who always makes her uncomfortable.

" Emy, you haven't had breakfast, have you? we eat first." said the man in polo shirt. A smile was engraved on his handsome face.

" I'm sorry Andrew, I have to go home, because no one's cooking at the halfway house, Uncle Evan is away. Next time, will you..?" reject Emy with her beautiful smile.

Andrew pursed his lips and exhaled a rough breath. His nose looks floppy, his hand grip on the steering wheel strengthened. Then Emy felt the car speeding up.

In her panic, Emy holds Andrew's arm and asks him to stop her car. Andrew pushes Emy firmly and causes Emy's head to hit the glass hard. Emy grimaced in pain and felt very dizzy.

Andrew continued to drive his car to a remote area. Emy looked around with horror. He recalls his trauma. Andrew pulled Emy out of the car . Emy was screaming and hysterical.

In a samsak sling, Emy keeps hitting Andrew on the back. In a windowless room, Emy is thrown on a mattress. Emy's cries and shouts were ignored. Emy banged on the door and shouted but there was no answer.

3 Days Emy crouchs in Andrew's fist, with only food and drink served through a small hole under the door.

" I'll move your room after we get married tomorrow." After saying that, Andrew's voice was no longer heard. During the captivity, Emy was only asleep for 2-3 hours. Dark circles were clearly visible under his eyes.

Emy curled up at the end of her singlesize mattress. Tears have dried up and nutrient intake has not been met, because for 3 days, Emy did not touch her food. Andrew seemed to be watching Emy through his computer screen and watching Emy through CCTV.

Andrew did not want to open the door to Emy's room before the wedding day for fear of not being able to hold back his lust. Andrew has been in love with Emy since he first met her at the hospital when Emy gave him help when he injured his leg after falling off his motorcycle.

With a food stroller, full of different kinds of dishes, Andrew opened Emy's room door and took the carriage in and closed the door again.

Andrew puts Emy in his lap and mocks the soup, forcing Emy to eat it. Soup straws on Emy's face as a result of Emy's rejection. He managed to feed Emy. Afterwards, Andrew patiently cleansed Emy's face with wet wipes.

The park in Villanya is well organized and beautiful. He has also invited some of his close friends and his brother.

Keanan manages to get a trace of Emy and devises a plan with Evan. Evan, aided by his former army friend, leads Emy's rescue. Thankfully they are not late.

Because right when Emy was hired by one of the helpers, Evan managed to stop the marriage and fight with Andrew and his friends.

Keanan manages to pull Emy's hand, as Evan stands in front of Emy with his friend. Keanan ran towards the exit, which meant having to enter the house first.

That's when Andrew's brother came, and saw Keanan pull Andrew's bride. Brother Andrew does not know, if Andrew has forced his will, because Andrew always told me that, he and Emy love each other.

Keanan fights Adrian, Andrew's older brother and some of the people he is with. Keanan eventually gets help from a friend of Evan's, and a fight ensues.

Adrian, who was a member of the CIA, finally pointed his gun at Keanan, when he fell due to Keanan kick. Emy who saw that immediately ran over and grabbed Keanan.

Emy's smooth back was pierced by hot lead and made her fall in the arms of Keanan. Keanan tried to get back at Adrian, but a shot from behind caused him to crash onto the floor, next to Emy's body.

Clear droplets flow out of Emy's eye patch. He saw Keanan lying with his eyes open and hands outstretched at him, but unfortunately, Emy could not reach him because of his dark gaze.

Emy lay weakly helpless with a hose attached to her mouth and her hand pricked an infusion needle. The sound of a patient monitor was heard filling the VIP ICU, where Emy was lying.

"Oppa, you know I was so helpless to see my friend. Only a few months later he was released from prison, and then he had to experience that bitterness again" Hannah said in her tears. Shortly thereafter, Hannah resumed her story.

Evan beat Andrew unconscious, then Adrian, he just resigned when Evan hit his jaw hard. Evan wants to kill the two brothers, but the hospital director stops him, and gives a call from dr. Sie asked him not to do something that would add to Emy's burden.

Emy would be sad if Evan went to jail because of him. Evan did not want to hear the advice of dr. Sie but after hearing the hospital director say that, if Evan does that then he will be forced to dismiss Emy.
