Chapter 42 The heart of Hani

After Abhiyasa returned to his office, Hani returned to Umi Halimah's house. He's feeling calm there. Pesantren cottage area owned by husband Umi Halimah that makes Hani know many things.

There's a lot of things he saw there. Even that day he stayed at the place of Umi Halimah to find out what activities are done in the boarding school.

There he learned many lessons he had never known. Even he was very excited to always ask Umi Halimah about what was not yet understood by him.

"Umi, it looks like Hani should stay here even longer. If only one day Hani thought it was not enough," Hani told Umi Halimah who was eating cake with Hani on the porch of her house.

Umi Halimah smiled at him. He highly appreciates the will and spirit of Hani that exceeds other santri. Then he said,

"Umi'm happy if you're at home here. Umi does not forbid you if you want to stay or stay here. At any time Hani can stay or stay here. Umi accepts with open arms."

Many pairs of eyes that pay attention to Hani and Umi Halimah when hugging like a mother and child. They looked astonished by the presence of Hani who did not close his aura in the boarding school.

Currently Umi Halimah is accompanying Hani cooking in the kitchen. They practice the results of learning to cook Hani taught by Umi Halimah.

Hani approached Umi Halimah and held her hands together. Then he looked Umi Halimah in the eyes and said seriously,

"Umi, what if Hani wants to convert?"

Instantly Umi Halimah smiled and her eyes glazed at the question from Hani. Just hearing that question, Umi Halimah felt touched and held back her tears until they gathered in her eyes. What if Hani really changes faith? 

"If so... How about Umi?" hani answered hesitantly.

Umi Halimah smiled as usual. His smile was able to win the heart of Hani who was looking at him.

"If there is still doubt, it is better not to, even if the doubt is very small in your heart. Find out what your heart wants. Don't be in a hurry so that there will be no regrets later" replied Umi Halimah with her soft voice and very soothing smile.

Hani smiled at the reply from Umi Halimah. And sure enough, Umi Halimah saw the doubt on Hani's smile at that time.

"We should finish all this before you go home" said Umi Halimah as she rubbed Hani's shoulders.

Hani also according. He returned to cooking. Unfortunately his mind kept thinking about his heartbreak.

Umi Halimah felt the anxiety of Hani's heart. He approached Hani and asked her to speak so that her heartbreak could be sidetracked at this time.

There was laughter and laughter coming from the kitchen. Hani and Umi Halimah really liven up the atmosphere in the kitchen which is usually quiet and not as cheerful.

Their voices were able to attract the attention of Hamza who was walking into the house. Not even the greeting he said, no one answered him. It seems that Umi Halimah did not hear it because she was engrossed in her current activities.

He was looking for the source of the voice he knew one of the voices was the Uminya voice.

His footsteps brought him closer to the sound and ended the footsteps in front of the kitchen. He saw Uminya laughing and joking with a beautiful woman who did not cover her head with a hijab.

The sight was extremely rare for Hamza. Even he never saw it. Laughter is expensive if you are with someone other than your family. And now he's seeing something different.

Who is that girl? Why was Umi so close to him? Why is he not wearing a hijab? Hamza wondered in his heart.

Hamzah was still standing in front of the kitchen watching what Umi Halimah was doing together with Hani. Even Hani hugged the body of Umi Halimah when she was embarrassed to respond to Umi Halimah who was teasing her.

Feeling that someone was paying attention, Umi Halimah turned her head towards Hamzah. He smiled when he saw his son standing and watching him.

"Have Hamzah come home?" asked Umi Halimah who walked over to her son.

Hamzah kissed the back of Umi Halimah's hand, then he said, saying,

"Umi's. Abi where is it?"

"Abi's in the cabin. Oh yeah, put your stuff in the room. After that come down, we will eat together," said Umi Halimah while gently rubbing her son's shoulders.

"Alright Umi," Hamzah said before leaving his place.

The gaze of Hamzah's eyes returned to Hani who was looking at him along with Umi Halimah. It was discovered by Umi Halimah.

Immediately Umi Halimah embraces Hani to invite him back to finish their cooking activities. Hamza walked to his room.

Entering his room, Hamzah put the bag he carried on the sofa in the room. He laid his body on his bed and stared at the ceiling of his room. A few seconds later he said,

"Who is that woman?"
