Chapter 27 The Plan of Aulia

Aulia's words again ring in Hani's ears. Even though he was now near Abhiyasa, Aulia's words still bothered him.

Sometimes Hani gets carried away by her thoughts, so when Abhiyasa asks her to speak, she just keeps quiet as if she did not hear it.

"Honey... Honey.. How? Do you agree?" ask Abhiyasa while driving his car.

Instantly Hani awakens from her daydream. He was misbehaved and nervously responded to a question from Abhiyasa.

"W-what? What did you say, Abhi?" ask Hani nervously.

Abhiyasa slightly glanced at his lover who was sitting beside him. He realized something was different with his attitude after returning home from the orphanage.

He sidestepped his car and stopped by the side of the road. His hand held both of Hani's cheeks and he stared intensely at the bead of her eyes as he said,

"What's wrong Honey? Is there anything you're thinking? Was there a problem at the orphanage?" 

Just like Abhiyasa. Hani also stared intensely at the manic eyes of the man she loved. He felt a deep feeling of love from within his eyes. And he did not want to let go of the man who loved him so much.

He was not willing to lose a male figure that was very valuable to him. Especially her great love for him.

"Honey, tell me what's going on? Don't make me worry" continued Abhiyasa who looks very worried about him.

Hani sighed. Actually he did not want to say all that to Abhiyasa, but he also could not just ignore the problem so that he always wondered about the continuation of their relationship.

"Abhi, do you think our family will accept our relationship?" hani asked Abhiyasa who was still staring at him intensely.

Abhiyasa's facial expression was different. He understood what Hani was thinking at the moment. He is too. Every day he thought about their relationship.

However, Abhiyasa could only pray. And she was sure that God would give her the best path for their relationship.

Abhiyasa smiled to calm his lover's heart. Then he said,

"Consider our feelings. Don't let those bad thoughts interfere with our feelings."

Hani smiled in response to Abhiyasa's words. Unfortunately, Hani's smile was different in Abhiyasa's eyes. He saw the compulsion of that smile. And he also knew that Hani was still thinking about it. All of that was clearly visible on Hani's face.

"Abhi, can I ask you a question?" asked Hani hesitantly.

Abhiyasa smiled and nodded his head. Then he said,

"You ask me what hmmm?" 

Hani hesitated to ask. But he also wants to know the truth. He determined to ask Abhiyasa.

"What...your extended family is very devoted to their religion?" asked Hani hesitantly.

Abhiyasa's forehead frowned at Hani's question. He also said,

"What do you mean?"

Hani sighed. He cursed his stupidity which asked with unclear questions.

"Said Aulia, your extended family is very obedient to religion. And she was sure that they would not be able to accept me as your partner," Hani replied with a bow of her gaze.

He did not dare to look at Abhiyasa whose face was currently very close to him. It's not just that. He was very sad when he said that. The words spoken by Aulia and still ringing in her ears.

Abhiyasa closed his eyes. It was obvious at this moment that he was very angry and he was trying hard to contain it.

He opened his eyes and looked back at Hani, saying,

"When did he meet you?" 

Hani is reluctant to answer Abhiyasa's question because she is afraid that it will ignite her anger.

"Hani, answer. When did he see you?" abhiyasa asked firmly and looked at him with a serious look.

He must be very angry with me. He no longer calls me Honey. He called my name at this moment. Moreover, his eyes and face were looking extremely angry at this moment. I have to be honest with him. Otherwise, he would have grown angry with me, Hani said in his heart.

Abhiyasa again sat down properly and faced straight towards the road before him saying,

"Damn! Why is he still disturbing our relationship? How dare he interfere in our affairs. I can't shut it down anymore. I had to warn him so that he would no longer bother you with his meaningless words."

Hani quickly held Abhiyasa's hand and said,

"Abhi, please don't raise this matter. If you meet him, he will be very happy. Because that's what he wants."

Abhiyasa's anger soon subsided. He looked at Hani and smiled at her. Then he said,

"You know Honey, only you can make my anger subside instantly. I hope you won't think about it again. You have to trust me. I'll definitely find a way out."

Hani smiled and nodded her head. He clasped Abhiyasa's hand to convince her and said,

"I believe you Abhi."

After that Abhiyasa drove his car back to their home. On the way, Hani tries to get his joke out so that Abhiyasa no longer thinks about it.

Because Hani knows that without him asking the problem, Abhiyasa must also think about it, just like he always thinks about it. And he should not add to the burden of Abhiyasa's mind any longer with his concerns on the continuation of their relationship.

Days changed since the incident at the orphanage. The relationship between Hani and Abhiyasa is getting closer and makes them happier.

While Aulia, she still does not know the development of Hani and Abhiyasa's relationship. In his mind, Hani and Abhiyasa's relationship will definitely be strained by itself because of the differences they have.

However, the time cannot be determined. Even Aulia herself could not confirm it.

Today as usual, according to her schedule Aulia helped the senior doctor who was in practice. 

Suddenly Aulia's eyes sparkled and her lips curved upwards when she saw a middle-aged woman enter the doctor's room along with the elderly woman.

"Sorry Mom, is this Mom Abhiyasa's mother? And this Grandma is Abhiyasa's grandmother?" aulia asked as the two women sat opposite the doctor who owned the room.

"Ehemmm.. Doctor Aulia, seems to know these mothers very well," said the doctor as if warning Aulia to be more polite to patients who had just entered the room.

"Eh yes doc, sorry," said Aulia who looks very sad to the doctor and the two women who have the status of patients.

"It's okay doc. I am Abhiyasa's mother. And this is Abhiyasa's grandmother. The doctor knows that, right?" said Abhiyasa's mother to the doctor who already knows their family.

"Sorry Mom, I'm Aulia. We met at graduation at Abhiyasa High School at that time," said Aulia who seemed to remind her mother and grandmother Abhiyasa of herself.

Abhiyasa's mother and Abhiyasa's grandmother turned to each other. Then they smile at each other.

"So you're Abhiyasa High School's friend huh?" ask Abhiyasa's mother and smile kindly at Aulia.

"Yes ma'am is right" replied Aulia timidly.

Abhiyasa's mother and grandmother knew that Abhiyasa was very indifferent to women. Therefore he said that Aulia is a friend of Abhiyasa, because they know very well if Abhiyasa has not had a girlfriend until now.

"Listen Abhiyasa is getting married, Mom?" aulia asked Abhiyasa's mother.

It is clear that Abhiyasa's mother and grandmother are confused. They looked at each other as if asking each other.

"It looks like it's just bird news" Abhiyasa's mother chuckled.

"Loh not Abhiyasa's family has agreed to his relationship with women of different faiths is yes Ma'am?" asked Aulia who was increasingly carrying out her plan.

Abhiyasa's mother and grandmother turned to each other and said simultaneously,

"What?"

"Religious Differences?"
