Guarding the Heart

Guarding the Heart
Say Hi

The meeting of businessmen at a five-star hotel that Dimas had told earlier demanded that Adinda must come along to accompany her husband to go there.

The athletic man slightly forced his wife to come along. Although Adinda had prepared her dress a few days ago to accompany Dimas to attend the event, her heart felt less regressive to come along.

"Din, you have the heart to see me talking alone at the event" Dimas said as he prepared the shirt and suit he would wear.

Adinda sat on the edge of the bed with a sullen face. Dimas then walked up to Adinda and stood right in front of her.

"What if I take a glance.." Goda Dimas raised Adinda's chin with his index finger. Dimas deliberately did not finish his speech to see Adinda's response.

Adinda immediately rounded her eyes to hear Dimas' words.

"Oh, so you have the intention to glance at another woman if I am not next to you. I see, yes!!" adinda said angrily and then stood up from the edge of the bed.

Dimas chuckled at the expression on Adinda's face. For a long time he had not seen the beautiful face of his angry wife.

"No, my dear. Just kidding. There was no intention at all, really" Dimas immediately pulled Adinda into his arms.

"Swinks you said. Many other jokes but why should it be related to that" the inner Adinda felt furious with Dimas' speech.

"Come, get ready to wear clothes there" continued Dimas while unraveling his embrace.

Adinda wore the dress she bought with Sinta the other day. Likewise with Dimas, he was wearing the shirt that Adinda had bought him.

Shortly afterwards Dimas and Adinda slid into the hotel. Get off the car, Dimas clasped Adinda's hand tightly as if afraid to let go. Entering the event venue, Dimas was welcomed by some of his fellow businessmen. Inside the room was already prepared many round tables with six chairs for the invited guests.

Dimas circulated his gaze looking for a table that had not been occupied too much by people. Dimas then walked towards the table he wanted to occupy while holding the hand of Adinda. Adinda also obeyed Dimas steps that brought him to and fro.

"Mas, slow down dong" murmured Adinda. She was afraid to step on her slightly long dress if she walked fast.

Before arriving at the table they were heading to, a veiled woman stood up from her seat and looked towards the direction where Adinda and Dimas were walking which happened to be heading towards her.

The woman and Adinda were both shocked at each other when they met a glance. Likewise with Dimas when consciously looking in the same direction, he saw a woman who was no stranger to him was walking towards the two of them.

"Hasna!! Well, how is this" cried out Adinda worried.

Hasna seemed focused on looking at the hands of Adinda and Dimas who were holding each other. Adinda also looks wrong because she feels noticed so by Hasna. He hoped that Dimas would immediately let go of his hand.

"Why can Adinda walk hand in hand like Dimas?" ask Hasna's heart restlessly.

"Dimas" rebuked Hasna when she had come face to face with the couple.

"How are you, Na? You represent Om again, huh?" tanya Dimas seemed ordinary. Dimas could feel that Adinda was wanting to release her hand. Dimas slowly released his hand before Hasna realized it.

"Dinda, you?" look at Hasna with a suspicious look at Adinda.

"Yes, Na. Introduce, this sister is my wife" Dimas said as if answering Hasna's suspicions.

"O Allah, why did You meet us" said Sister.

"Be ... right Din, you're Dimas' wife?" hasna asked as if she was still unsure of Dimas' words earlier.

"Yes, Na" replied Adinda slowly.

Adinda felt bad about Hasna. Hasna must have thought that Adinda had lied to her. Hasna smiled wryly looking at the reality before her eyes.

"It turns out that the woman Dimas loved was my own friend" Hasna's inner sadness mixed with disappointment.

"Well, excuse me for going to the toilet" said Hasna then passed Adinda and Dimas.

Adinda and Dimas looked at each other with their own thoughts. But for Dimas it was not a problem for him Hasna had known who his wife was. While Adinda looked so unsettled by Hasna's year that Dimas was her husband.

In the toilet, Hasna wiped away her rushing tears unbearably.

"Did Adinda not know that the man I was talking to her and Sinta in the food court was her husband?. Oh my God, how did this happen!!' scream Hasna's heart.

"I'm sorry, Din. I still love Dimas, your husband" Hasna muttered withholding tightness in her chest.

After a long time in the toilet and cleaning her face so as not to look like she was crying, Hasna returned to the event. Hasna's desk is not far from Adinda's seat. Hasna seemed to pay attention to the movements of Adinda and Dimas looked like lovers who were just kasmaran. The sight made Hasna's heart throb even more.

"Mas, it's ah. Shame to know!" adinda exclaimed in a soft voice as Dimas touched the corner of his lips as there was food scraps stuck there.

"Why should I be ashamed? You are my wife not my lover" said Dimas sewot. She just put her lips together and listened to Dimas.

"No need to be so full of lips, I will be tempted" led Dimas smiled.

Because the table they occupied was still quiet, there was no one else sitting there even though the invited guests kept coming.

"It won't work even if you're tempted. It's a public place, Mas" replied Adinda confidently seeing Dimas.

"Hm. You forgot, yeah, that we're in a hotel right now" looked at the naughty Dimas.

Adinda just realized with his words and then suddenly misbehaved herself. Dimas could do anything to him. This includes booking a room for the two of them to spend the night.

"Yahoo!!!" She closed her eyes imagining that.

"What the hell are you. I am not ashamed" Adinda Keki said.

The two of them were suddenly silent when a couple asked for permission to sit at the same table. Dimas also allowed the couple and they met each other.
