Edel's phone kept ringing making him who was meeting could not concentrate well. Edel asked his client for time to take his phone call for a while.
Ivar: Hello Brother
Edel: Yeah, what's the matter Var?
Ivar: You are, why did you take it so long?
Edel: I was meeting and you were bothering him.
Ivar: Why can't Nindi's phone be called? Is he still mad at me?
Edel: How do I know! You're just being around. He's in a job interview, did you forget?
Ivar : Ahh. I promise to take her. What about Hanna?
Edel: Bagas will pick her up in a moment.
Ivar: Have a bag pick me up first at the base. I didn't bring the car this morning.
Edel : Ok...Var wait. Just so you know, Nindi this morning looked very surprised to see you leave so hastily.
Ivar: Really!
Edel: You find out for yourself, don't make her cry again. I even compressed his swollen eyes because of you.
Hearing him Ivar was so sorry, he was still not used to Nindi's presence in his life. He had been a man who was indifferent and rarely communicated with his family if he was going to complete his work.
Nindi must have been very surprised by Ivar's attitude. Looks like Ivar's going to have to talk more with his wife. Ivar's guilt grows when he remembers how he urged Nindi to accept his love through his concern for Hanna. Ivar even felt that he had forced Nindi to accept him who was so eager to have him. A confused Nindi is made comfortable by Ivar until she agrees to get married.
The other girls at Nindi's age are currently taking her leave, but Nindi already has a husband who often even makes her feel neglected like this.
Not long ago a bagas car was parked in the courtyard of the headquarters where Ivar worked. Without wasting time Ivar takes over the wheel and prepares to pick Hanna up to school. Hanna must be very disappointed because she forgot her promise last night. Ivar even promised Hanna a delicious ice cream after school.
Hanna is still waiting for Mr. Bagas to pick her up at the school cafeteria. Hanna used to wait there so she wouldn't be alone.
“Hanna?” Hanna looked around for the source of the voice. “Kok hasn't come home baby?” Ira who led Lula sat next to Hanna. “Still waiting for an invitation well?” Hanna nodded.
Lula finds out that Hanna has not been picked up and takes her mother to the cafeteria to accompany Hanna until someone comes to pick her up. Lula is very considerate, she is often sad when she hears Hanna tell her longing for her mother.
“Tante go home first not papa, Hanna is still waiting for Pak Bagas Aunt.” Hanna's not feeling too good to bother.
“Father Han, anyways Lula said he wanted to drink juice. Is it La?” Lula nodded. “Tante order first well, Hanna likes mango juice well?” Hanna nodded not refusing to drink for free. Ira knew very well what their children liked because they were friends for a long time. He even had a good relationship with Aruni during his life.
Seeing that Hanna is currently making Ira's heart full, the jovial and always cheerful Hanna is now a very precocious girl. He often shows a side of maturity at times like this. She did not whine or even complain at the circumstances that forced her to grow up without her parents.
Ira knew very well how Hanna used to be spoiled for Aruni and Cakra. But at this time he often chose not to ask for anything as long as Nindi was beside him. Lost in Hanna's childish attitude.
“You were the one who brought your Mom here?” Lula nodded without any guilt. He thinks his actions are right.
“Why?” Hanna grimaced. “You know now that there are many kidnappers, if you were kidnapped how?”
“I can take care of myself. I'll whip Uncle if anyone wants to kidnap me.” Hanna was arrogant about her great Uncle.
“If your Uncle doesn't exist how?” Hanna shrugged her shoulders. “That's You, don't think properly.”
“You're like Granny nagging. Hahahaha Hanna laughed, in fact she was happy that Lula would gladly accompany her lonely one.
“Jus come......!!!!!!” Shouted Ira carrying three different cups of juice.
“Mango for Hanna, Avocado for Lula, and Orange Juice for Mamah. Let's drink.”
“Thanks aunt.” Hanna's sweet talk made Ira moved.
“Han, how about going back to Lula's house first? Aunt Ira will call Aunt Nindi to pick Hanna up at Lula's house!” Hanna seemed to think.
“Tante Edel says Mr. Bagas picked up Hanna.”
“Oh that, yes it is. We just wait for yah.” Ira knows Hanna is a very obedient child. He must be uncomfortable if forced. That's how children are, there's something adults should take into account. Do not force the will until it makes children feel uncomfortable and eventually distant.
“Hanna..” Ivar smiled at the door of the school cafeteria.
“Uncle...” Hanna ran over to her Uncle who had just arrived. Relieved because he was not forgotten. Relieved that someone had come to get her home. Ivar's arrival makes Hanna throw away bad thoughts if she is no longer loved.
“Sorry dear, Uncle and Mr. Bagas are very late. The trip was very chaotic due to traffic jams.” Hanna nodded. It had overflowed with annoyance for a moment.
“Thankful that Ivar is coming. Then me and Lula also say back home yah.” Ira was relieved that Hanna was picked up too.
“Lula don't want to join Uncle eat Ice Cream first?” Lula looked at her mother. Ira nodded, accepting the offer.
“No Uncle, thank you very much.” Lula replied after seeing Ira's reaction.
“Don't listen to your Mom. Let's eat Ice Cream.” Ivar takes Hanna and Lula. She was so grateful that Ira was always kind to Hanna.
“Let's trouble Nak.”
“No Aunty, Ivar who has been troublesome Aunt Ira at any time.”
Eventually the stale bases continued until at Hanna's favorite Ice Cream store. Ira told a lot about Aruni during his life. Ivar is so moved by how their struggle decides to live together in opposition to Aruni's two parents who don't want his daughter to live in distress.
Even until the time of his departure Aruni still could not meet the two parents who were no longer willing to accept himself after marrying Cakra. So sad their life story. But the two keep trying to be happy for the sake of the little Nindi who is currently the backstop for Hanna.
“But Nindi and Hanna are very lucky. Now someone is looking after them now.” Ira smiled at Ivar.
“It seems like they are not the lucky ones. But I.” Ivar explores how he changed drastically after meeting Hanna and Nindi.
“I don't even know what my life would be like without them both.”
“Really!” Ira doesn't believe Ivar has such great love for both of them.
“I desperately need both of them. They're my love. I need both of them, not those who need me.” Ivar exhaled his breath which felt tight in the chest. His words were even repeated over and over because of the emotion.
“I believe you can create the life that Nindi and Hanna hoped for. Aunty Ira can’ing the best for your life.”
A short but very meaningful conversation for Ivar, through Ira he knew the figure of Aruni who was so warm. She accepts Nindi even raised her like her biological child without asking for anything in return.
“Hanna, it's time we pick up Aunt Nindi.” Shouted Ivar calling Hanna who was still cool playing on the playground with Lula.
“Dah Lula, thank you very much Aunt Ira.” Hanna gives a warm hug.
Ivar asks Bagas to return home in a taxi so he can pick up Edel in another car. Because Edel must be in desperate need of Bagas after a tired day doing his work that is quite draining.
Fortunately Ivar had managed to find out when Nindi finished the interview at the second company. He even arrived in front of the lobby waiting for employees who were interviewing out.
Suddenly it rained very hard. The woman he was waiting for also did not come out from inside the building.
“Pak...Sir..”Shouted Ivar at a security guard standing guard at the entrance.
“What employees who are interviewing still long after completion?”
“Wah Sir, already finished 30 minutes ago Pak.”
“Really? Why don't I see a single person coming out of here?” Ivar suddenly felt upset.
“Maybe out of the side lobby. Closer to main road.” Obviously quite courteous to Ivar.
Ivar ruffled his hair in disbelief, again he could not regulate the will of God. She had been there for quite a while but Nindi came out without her knowledge.
Nindi who was caught in the rain decided to wait at the stop with a friend she had just found during an interview. The rain is so heavy and it will be dangerous if desperate to go home against the swift rain.
“Mbak Nindi home with whom?” Cindy asked who was waiting for her boyfriend to pick her up.
“Maybe take public transport Cin, but wait for the rain to subside. Serem if it rains like this.”
“Iya Ma'am, my girlfriend is also long because it is caught in the rain.” Their age was only a few months apart, but hearing Nindi was married made Cindy call him with a more polite name.
Tin.tin....
Cindy's boyfriend's car horn that made it up after fighting the rush of rain. “Mbak I didn't papa first?” Nindi nodded. The different directions of the house made Cindy unable to bring her home together. “Be careful Ma'am. See you if we work in the same place Ma'am!”
“Yes, you guys also be careful yah.” It was silent after Cindy left.
Is Brother Ivar really mad at me? Why do I feel so scared to lose someone I love so much. What would it be like if we were ignored by our loved ones?. The whirling rain accompanied Nindi who was so confused by Ivar's current state and feelings for her. Can't just ignore him even though he's been struggling to try.
