Ivar held onto his chest which was currently pounding so fiercely. Trying to find a proper and proper sentence to apologize to Nindi for her mistake. Despite being at the door of the room, Ivar was still pacing back and forth in confusion. Which sentence will make Nindi melt on him.
“You're still here? Why not just go in?” Edwin spoke softly so that Nindi who was in the room did not hear his voice.
“I'm confused? What am I supposed to say? Do you have any ideas?” Ivar led Edwin away from the door of his room. “What do Papah usually say or do when Mom is angry?” Ivar closed his eyes.
“Your friends are often angry, until I forget how we made up. Hehehehe Ivar shook his head in disbelief. “How about you just hug? The words that come out will usually be very touching and flow just like that.”
“What is Papah sure this way is potent?” Edwin nodded.
“Mamahmu will be quiet when Papah hugs, usually he will not nag again when Papah has hugged him. You just try. Already ah, Papah wants to rest. Papah down well!”
“This paper, there are no other ideas that are more convincing.” Ivar scratched his itchy head from thinking too hard.
“It is better not to talk too much, or you will make things worse and mood Nindi.” Edwin warned of the experience of his life facing a woman if she was angry with her husband.
Chequek.....
The door opened, Ivar found Nindi who had drowned herself under a thick blanket covering her entire body.
Is he asleep? Is it possible to sleep in the mood and state of raging heart like today? I can't even think clearly. Inner Ivar fought against the anxiety of his heart.
“Nin, have you slept?” Ivar sat next to Nindi. “I'm really sorry. I hope Nindi understands and forgives my mistakes. I was so scared when I found out you and Hanna weren't coming home with Bagas. I'm afraid you and Hanna are in danger, but somehow my feelings change when I Ivar breathed a long breath. “I was very emotional when I saw Hanna in Gunar's arms. Although she helped you and Hanna, I was not willing to see that man.” Ivar tried to peek at Nindi's face which did not respond at all. “Nin, don't you want to say something?” still noiseless. “At least upset me if it can let go of your frustration. Don't just shut up Nin.”
Is she really sleeping well, it's not usually Nindi just shut up when I ask her to talk like this. Ivar tried to pull out the little blanket that covered his face. I was talking to myself from earlier. Ivar rubbed the remains of tears that still wet Nindi's beautiful face. He must have been hurt so badly for my harsh treatment, I'm sorry Nin. I promise not to repeat it again.
Ivar hugged Nindi tightly, kissing the sleeping nape of Nindi behind her as a form of her deep regret. There will be no more anger without cause, Ivar promises to learn to control his emotions and not explode like crazy.
Ivar does not know if Nindi is also very sorry to accept Gunar's offer to go home with him. Nindi was only confused because Hanna was exhausted, she chose to close her eyes because she was confused about what to say. Everything Ivar said made Nindi aware, she must not make a mistake that could provoke Ivar's anger. A man who has patiently accepted Hanna and Nindi in his life.
Just closing his eyes, the sound of a knock on the door woke Ivar who had just fallen asleep. Looking at the wall clock with her still sticky eyes refusing to wake up, she had just fallen asleep for 30 minutes. Ivar woke up with shaky steps opening the door of his locked room.
“Ivar..” Ayman holds Hanna who is still awake. “Hanna wants to sleep in Aunt Nindi's room she said, she can't sleep.” Ayman looks very sleepy.
“Really!” Hanna nodded, her sharp eyes as if she had not forgotten her anger at Ivar. “Here Uncle Ivar carried, Aunt Nindinya already bobo.” Ayman leaves Hanna for Ivar. Looks like the atmosphere has subsided, Nindi has just gone to sleep.
“Tante..” Hanna whispered in Nindi's sleeping ear. “Tante.....Did Aunt pass out?” Ivar's eyes were round in disbelief at what he heard. Does Hanna suspect her of doing nothing to Nindi! This little boy really. Inner Ivar screamed in self-defense.
Nindi's body wriggled feeling piqued. “Tante Ninnnnnn.....Banguuuuunnnnn!!!!!” Hanna was still trying to wake Nindi up, yelling but quietly. But Nindi still did not want to wake up from her sleep.
“Hanna, won't Hanna go to school tomorrow?” Hanna nodded. “Honey, here Uncle hugs so Hanna can sleep.” Ivar often accompanies Hanna before going to bed, knowing Hanna's habit of hugging and holding hands with the person who accompanies her before going to bed.
Hanna did not refuse, she just did not say a word since Ivar vented his anger. “Uncle is unlikely to hurt you both. You and Aunt Nindi are half the lives Uncle has. Does Hanna understand?” Hanna nodded, slowly closing her tired eyes.
A very tiring night for every occupant of the house can finally be passed too. Everyone was already asleep enjoying the rest time that his body needed.
The beautiful morning sun emitting little by little light filled every space on earth. Wake up every person who sleeps all night to start his solid activities.
Nindi squirmed, doing a light stretch before opening her eyes. Her lips incised a smile looking at the beautiful scenery in the morning. Nindi hugged Hanna who was in Ivar's arms. Nindi was unaware of Hanna's presence because she was completely exhausted. Hanna must be thinking no-no, Nindi was curious about what really happened until Hanna was inside her room at the moment.
“Hanna...” Nindi kisses Hanna's adorable cheeks. “Wake up baby, you said you wanted to draw a task.” Hanna squirmed at the task she had forgotten.
“It's morning well Auntie?” Nindi nodded as she looked at Hanna's already wide-open eyes. “Tante Nindi passed out last night well?” He nodded while holding his laughter. “Kok Hanna wake Auntie up not waking up. Hanna thinks aunt fainted.”
“Hahahha...why do you have such thoughts?” Nindi lifts Hanna's body to get off the bed. “You're hanging out too much with the adult male Han.”
The two went downstairs, before doing the task, Nindi made Hanna her favorite chocolate milk. Ellie is also awake and making breakfast for her family members, aided by Auntie.
“Goodoo Omah is awake?” A kiss landed on Hanna's cheek. “Hanna sleeping with Uncle Ivar?” Hanna nodded because she was busy with her chocolate milk.
“Kok tumben Han? Why is Jason's room? Narrow yah!” Hanna shakes. Hanna was thinking of the right answer. “Keep why?”
“I want in the arms of Aunt Nindi Omah. Heheheheh Hanna's laughter closed the refreshing morning chatter.
Hanna was doing her job in supervising Nindi who was also preparing the material she learned to answer job interview questions. There were two work calls that went into his email.
Hopefully from both interviews today someone accepted me to be an employee there. I had at least one activity that reduced my presence in this house.
“Good Morning darling.” Ayman's soft voice drew Hanna running towards him for a hug. “A….. Uncle lost Hanna. Don't sleep on top again ya dear.” Hanna just laughed when she heard her uncle sulking.
“Iya, Hanna makes Uncle can't sleep well.” Edel emerged from behind the door holding Jason. “Hanna's job is done?”
“A little more done Aunt.”
“Ya already Hanna continue, finished it we eat together well.” Hanna came back to her drawing paper which was still scattered on the floor.
“Nin..Nin.” Edel waved his hand at Nindi who was focused once with her material preparation.
“Iya Kak.” Nindi came up to Edel. “Why Brother?” Edel pulls Nindi away from Hanna so that her conversation does not sound like a critical smart girl.
“What Ivar ever hit you?” Nindi shook her head “You've never hurt you before?” Still shaking.
“Of course not Brother, Sister Ivar has never been rude to me except last night. He was like possessed by a subtle creature to the point of yelling at me like that.” Nindi shuddered in light of Ivar's anger last night.
“Hanna insists on moving to your room. He said he was afraid that Uncle would hurt Aunt Nindi like he used to when you guys were just getting married.” Nindi held back her laughter recalling the events of the blind morning that embarrassed her half to death.
“You why laugh?” Edel was curious.
“Hanna just misunderstood Sister. He saw a bruise on my body and thought Ivar's sister hit me. Hehehehe.
“Let's Hanna be there, I guess she saw Ivar beating you until she was traumatized.” Ayman laughs at the newlyweds' behavior, which frightens Hanna.
“Sorry yes Brother. I'm so embarrassed.” Nindi blushed in shame.
“Almost I held Hanna down even though she was crying nonstop because you guys were fighting last night. But Hanna is a smart kid, she has a thousand and one reasons to make my husband obey his will.” Ayman smiled as he could not refuse the request of a child as sweet as Hanna.
“He is very good at seducing.” Nindi knows Hanna's nature.
“Iya Nin, Ayman's sister insisted that she wanted to have another child. Who knows, a woman as sweet as Hanna Nin. Hehehehe Jason was very small.
The sound of footsteps rumbled from upstairs. Ivar looked so rushed that it astonished everyone.
“Ivar!!!” Shouted Ellie seeing her son run away not carefully. “You can wretch running around like that Nak!”
“Ivar rush.” Ivar immediately ran to his car that Bagas had prepared.
Everyone was astonished, always his job came suddenly and Ivar left without saying anything to everyone. Either he's coming home or he's not anytime soon. Every task he performed was secret, saving the lives of many who risked his life. The burden is so heavy, but Ivar still loves the job he has made a choice.
“Quiet Nin, Ivar must be fine.” Entertain Edel who saw the confusion on Nindi's face. “He is like that when it comes to his job. But Ivar must be back in good shape.”
Nindi is only confused that if there is no Ivar, she is still very foreign in her in-laws' house even though everyone is very nice to her, except Ellie. Plus Ivar left without a word as if ignoring his presence. Didn't he realize his mistake last night?
Was last night just a dream? But it's impossible. I heard his heart clearly. It can't be just a dream. Or Ivar's brother is still mad at me well, because my voice is as loud as last night's. Oh my God how is this? what if Ivar really doesn't want to forget what I did last night.
A raging feeling enveloped Nindi's troubled heart, Ivar did not even look at her as she exited the house. He's like a stranger.
