“God's mercy will not come down to the people to whom there are those who break the cord.” (CHR. Muslim)

3). Obtaining the punishment “No sin is more expeditious torture to the culprit in the world and stored for him in the hereafter than the act of injustice and severing the cord of friendship.” (CHR. Tirmidhi)

وَٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مِيثَٰقِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۙ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلدَّارِ

That is: “Those who break the promise of God after being made firm and decide what Allah commands to be connected and do mischief on earth, those are the ones who have the curse and for them a bad place of residence (Hahannam).” (QS. Ar Rad verse 25)
