Getting Married Due to a Trap
Denada Story

An alcohol bottle containing half the water with the alcohol content also fell scattered on the floor.

Bonar held his head, he felt his head throbbing violently, and even then he felt like he had heard nothing. His vision blurred, three seconds later Bonar was lying on the cafe floor.

Gemel's mother was stunned to see her affair fall sprawled on the cafe floor, until she reflexively closed her mouth. A few seconds after being flabbergasted he turned to look at Khaira who was equally dumbfounded. Gemel's mother backed off, "You killed him, you killed Bonar.”

After saying that, Mbak Gemel ran away looking safe. He did not want to get involved in this serious matter.

"Either Bonar is dead or alive, at this time the most important save yourself.” muttered Mbak Gemel while continuing to run out of the cafe.

Khaira was dumbfounded, she did not expect that it would be like this. I hope to defend myself becomes a disaster. He slowly walked back, away from his sprawled Uncle. Anxiety made him run out of the cafe, and continue to run as fast as he could.

In less than an hour Khaira ran, she reached her front home. Khaira stared at the door of the house, there was a sense of guilt of having left Uncle Bonar just like that. He took the phone from his sling bag and pulled out the phone.

"Hello last night Medika hospital, can you please help send an ambulance to the cafe plaza which is located at rose number three, there is someone who is seriously injured in the cafe. Please yes Mas immediately, this is an emergency.” after contacting the hospital. Khaira banged on the door of the house, because she did not bring the key. Because usually every day when Khaira comes home from work, Abah will pick her up.

Brak!! Brak!! Brak!!

"Firsty!” in a panic Khaira called out to her father along with a loud bang on the door. He looked back because he was afraid someone would follow him.

"Change, not Abah's door!” with his gasping breath, Khaira continued banging on the door of his house. Until someone heard a sound from inside the house.

"Yes, this is Abah.” Abah said from the inside, "Just now Abah will go after you, nduk.” Abah then opened the door and was surprised to see his only child panting while crying even the hijab used by his daughter looked disheveled making the heart of a father worried.

"Ning you why, nduk?” abah asked worriedly to see his daughter who looked shivering and pale-faced. [Nduk, Genduk is the name for girls in Javanese]

Khaira panicked, she held her brother's hand. "Change, Ning scared Abah, Ning scared,”

Abah felt something had happened, to make this only child frightened and trembling, Abah saw the situation outside the house. Seemed deserted in the dark of the night, the streets are only visible from the lights.

"Install first, nduk.” Abah told his daughter to go inside the house, before Abah caught up with Khaira whom he called Ning. For a moment Abah observed the situation around the house and then followed Khaira who had first entered the house.

Abah looking around for Khaira, "Ning, Ning Abah's daughter?”

There is no voice from Khaira, only the sound of the seconds from the clockwork and the cry that is heard as a whim.

Abah passed through the living room all the way to the living room. A very heartbreaking cry was heard next to the television desk closet exactly on the sidelines of the closet and the corner of the wall.

Abah knew very well, from childhood if his daughter was feeling not okay, the usual place his daughter hid to cry was in the corner next to the television closet.

Seeing his daughter in a state of slump makes a father's heart very hurt. Abah approached and crouched down in front of his daughter.

"What's Ning doing, who made you cry?” Abah asked in a very soft voice.

Khaira cried, she did not know where to start complaining to the father about the incident at Uncle Bonar's cafe. He could only cry and look into the eyes of Abah who looked sad.

Abah gently rubbed his daughter's head, "Don't just cry my son, crying can indeed relieve the heart. But just crying won't solve the problem, son. Speak,”

Abah's words are always the same, when Khaira cries like this. Khaira recalled, the last time she cried like this was twelve years, when she was ridiculed because her mother had left home.

Khaira wiped away the tears and her nose which kept on releasing clear slimy liquid.

Abah nodded slowly, he saw his daughter's reddened nose and her swollen eyes from crying, "Speak, so that you feel better,”

Khaira looked at her Abah's wrinkled face, "A-bah,” again Khaira's words were trapped by crying.

Abah was still waiting for his daughter's explanation patiently. He knew Khaira needed time to talk about what made her cry like this. This kind of thing made Abah remember when Khaira was little, when her mother left Khaira just like that.

The 51-year-old has been keeping his daughter alone for fifteen years. Because a wife who gave birth to her daughter has been gone since her daughter was six years old. The figure of the mother who was expected to be loving for her child was instantly gone.

The lamentation of Abah seeing his daughter like this made his heart slit like a knife. But at once the incision drained blood, when Khaira admitted what had happened to make it like this.

"Ning's dick had Pa-paman Bonar hurt, Ning didn't know Uncle Bonar ma-still hi-living or had already died,” said Khaira stammered admitting that she had done things outside of her wishes.

Abah was stunned to hear Khaira's explanation. But Abah also had expected that something like this would happen one day, because Abah knew what Bonar Sumargo was like. But he remained calm, "That's sure you did that to protect yourself,”

Khaira saw the anxiety clearly reflected in the look on his Abah's face, "Excuse Ningrum for not listening to Abah's advice, so that Ningrum does not work there, he said, but Ningrum still insisted on working at the cafe that belonged to that evil Uncle,”

Abah gently caressed her daughter's head covered in a black hijab, "You work there is also not entirely your wish, nduk,”

"But Abah, what if something happened to the same Uncle, especially if Uncle until death,” Khaira worried about something if something dangerous happened to the husband of his aunt.

"Wake up, and try to explain to Abah exactly what happened,” Abah persuaded Khaira to want to tell him more clearly. "Later we think together how to get out of the problem Bonar.”

Khaira followed Abah's advice, walking with a trembling body and sitting on the worn-out sofa in the living room.

While Abah walks to the kitchen to get a glass of water then back to the living room and gives the glass to his daughter, "Drink Ning, you will feel calmer,”

With trembling hands Khaira received the glass that Abah gave her, and drank it to the toilet. After feeling quite calm, Khaira tells about what happened in the cafe, so accidentally hit Uncle Bonar's head.

Abah listened to his daughter's explanation carefully, he let out a long sigh.

"No human being whose life is fine Ning, all have their own tests.” Abah said giving advice.

"Keep Ning should how Abah?” khaira lirih.

"Abaah is sure Bonar will be fine.” Abah said reassuring his daughter.

“A-bah.” Khaira cried again while hugging both of her knees.

Abah approached his daughter who was in the middle of nestapa, he patted Khaira's shoulder, “Often the problem comes without us knowing. But we are just ordinary people, powerless without the Creator.”

Khaira raised her face that began to sink, she looked at her Abah.

Abah nodded slowly, “Remember the same continuous quotation of these words, above the sky there is still sky.”
