Chapter 65: The Feast of Alana

Nightfall.

Sean let out a long sigh, he was already wearing a neat suit with his hair combed in such a way.

He was ready to come to Alana's party but seeing Mauren's current state made him confused to come to the party or not.

Sean saw Mauren eating extra spicy boiled noodles on her bed.

His face was still pale and not powerful to make Sean could not bear to leave him.

"Orens. Let's go to the hospital! I can't bear to see you sick like this" Sean said as he approached Mauren.

Mauren simply shook her head while enjoying her spicy noodles.

Mauren did not want to look at the husband who was too handsome, it made him more hurt because he had to accept the fact that the good looks of the husband must be shared with other women.

The sound of the bell rang, Sean immediately opened the door that turned out to have stood Assistant Kim who was no less handsome than Sean.

Sean told him to come in and they chatted on the couch.

"It looks like I can't come, Kim. I can't leave Mauren like that. Look at him as if he has no spirit!" said Sean.

"Good Sir. But why does Miss Mauren look sad?"

"You ask me who I keep asking?" sean was angry.

Hearing their conversation, Mauren immediately put down her stew noodles which she directly ate from the pot.

She walked over to Sean and tidied up her husband's tie.

"The party was Alana's happy day. If Oppa doesn't come, he's sad. Don't think about me! After this I take my medicine and go to bed and enjoy your party, Oppa"

Sean clucked, he really did not have the heart to leave Mauren who was sick.

Sean hugged Mauren and was heavy-hearted and had to leave Mauren alone tonight.

Sean and Assistant Kim immediately leave for Alana's house.

Before leaving, Sean kisses Mauren's lips.

"I love you, Oren"

"Love you too, Oppa"

Assistant Kim turned his face away, somehow his heart ached to see the romance of the couple.

They had departed and Mauren immediately closed the door and ran to find his backpack. He put some clothes in his bag.

He felt no tears dripping and he cried sobbing.

I don't want honey. I gotta get out of here. I can't see Oppa remarrying another girl.

Kim's assistant is still not feeling well with the incident in the photocopy room with Mauren. But strangely Sean had not asked and seemed ordinary with the report of Mr. Edy.

"Master. For the matter in the copy room earlier..."

"Why? I trust you Kim. There's no way you're betraying me" Sean replied casually.

Kim's assistant was sad because he had indirectly betrayed Sean.

He's been hugging and even kissing Mauren. He felt regret and blamed love for making him lose his mind.

Half an hour later.

Sean and Assistant Kim have arrived at Alana's magnificent home. He was a little surprised because he saw there were several reporters covering.

It seems that important people also come to Alana's birthday party.

Sean became the center of attention, the camera continued to highlight him. The beautiful girls looked engrossed in staring at her dazzling good looks.

"Sean!" alana said while hugging Sean's arrival.

"The snake must have woken up" Sean replied.

The two freaks continued to gossip about Assistant Kim until Assistant Kim was uncomfortable and stopped dancing.

He approaches Sean and Doctor Juna but the two strange men divert the other conversation.

"Eh Sean's. How's your cat?" doctor Juna said as he glanced at Assistant Kim who started approaching them.

"Fucking Cat. She was e'ek on the couch this morning"

"I know you're talking about me" Assistant Kim said.

"Who is he, Sean?" ask Doctor Juna.

"Somehow," Sean replied cynically as he looked at Assistant Kim.

They stayed away from Assistant Kim but Assistant Kim only smiled wryly and tried to follow those who walked away leaving him.

A few minutes later the MCs started taking over the show again, saying that after this there was an important announcement.

He told the owner of the party, Alana, to go on stage.

All applauded not least Grandpa Soldier and Mama Sean seemed excited.

"Next, the Chairman of Young Group, Mr. Arsean William, asked to take the stage!' said the MC.

Sean and Assistant Kim were confused, they looked at each other and gave codes to ask.

Assistant Kim who was suspicious immediately spoke up.

"Why did Mr Sean go on stage with Alana?" assistant Kim asked slightly raised her voice.

Everyone exchanged glances but Grandfather Soldier directly told Assistant Kim not to interfere.

Sean sighed, he patted Assistant Kim on the shoulder.

"Calm down, Kim! You know what to do if something happens to me?"

Assistant Kim nodded his head and after that Sean started to go on stage with Alana.

The members of the media began to shoot cameras at them.

Sean showed a cynical look as if he did not like it.

Soldier's grandfather started to get on stage and grab a microphone and started talking.

"Of this happy day, we have invited Young Group executives and several other companies and distinguished colleagues. Thank you all for attending this important event.

Can be seen Arsean William is the Chairman of Young Group or my most valuable grandson and beside him has stood the lover that is Alana"

A lover? Sean's mind began to suspect.

"With this I as Soldier Wijaya announce they will carry out the engagement on Sunday the 15th of this month and their marriage will be...."

"STOP! Turn off all the cameras!" sean shouted.

Sean was furious and stared intently at the grandfather.

Kim's assistant swiftly went to the camera crew and told them to forcefully turn off all the cameras.

"What the fuck? Who would marry her without my consent?" sean was very angry.

The once lively atmosphere was now silent. Everyone was confused and could feel the gripping atmosphere when a president poured out his anger.

Even the music of the accompaniment was stopped.

As Assistant Kim begins to get upset, he realizes that Mauren is crying because of this.
