Chapter 63: I cried....

"Have the Madam spoken?' mauren said boldly.

"I don't deserve Mr. Sean's class. I am self-aware but I will not give up and will fight for my love for Mr. Sean" Mauren said.

A loud slap right on Mauren's cheek, the girl was so shocked that she held her painful cheek.

Mama Sean was furious with Mauren's words as if he was not afraid of her.

"You poor girl can talk like that? I'm still good to you to let you leave Sean quietly. If Soldier Grandpa knows your relationship I can't guarantee your safety or your family's"

Mauren heard the sound of the door opening, she glanced at him which turned out to be Assistant Kim.

He brought a jacket and put it on Mauren's shoulder.

"Wear this jacket, Miss! So you don't get cold" Assistant Kim said.

Mauren nodded her head then swiftly picked up the photocopied paper.

Assistant Kim still looked at him curiously, the usually cheerful face of Mauren was now gloomy.

Assistant Kim let out a long sigh, he stepped towards the door then locked it.

Mauren was confused and just looked at Assistant Kim who was starting to approach her.

The man swiftly hugged Mauren and the girl was very surprised.

"Cry Miss! If I have to cry, I don't know what your problem is. But I think it's so heavy that you look sad like this" Assistant Kim said as he stroked Mauren's wet hair.

Mauren wept spilling her grief in the arms of Assistant Kim.

Assistant Kim stroked Mauren's back, he did not know what problems faced Mauren. He could only give a warm and sincere hug.

The man's heart was pounding strong mana when he hugged a girl 6 years younger than him.

They walked into Sean's room.

Mauren looked frightened and Assistant Kim calmed her down.

"Don't worry Miss! Mr. Sean won't be angry" Assistant Kim said.

"I'm afraid he's misunderstood"

"Just calm! I'll explain it to Mr. Sean"

The problem is not finished. And this time there's a new problem. My life is as dramatic as the story I imagined...

Minutes later, they reached Sean's room.

Sean immediately stood up and stared intently at them.

Mauren lowered his head not daring to look at Sean's extremely wrathful face.

While Assistant Kim looked relaxed, he felt he had done nothing wrong.

But Sean was surprised to see Mauren soaking wet. He approached her then cupped her cheeks like worry.

"Kim! Is this building leaking? Why is Mauren soaking wet like this?"

Mauren took Sean's hand off his cheek. He still feels disappointed to Sean who did not tell if he would be engaged to Alana tonight.

You don't love me.

And if you love me, you will not accept the engagement.

"I'm fine," answered Mauren ketus and looked away.

Sean is a little surprised and suspicious of Mauren's strange behavior which is different than usual.

"Master. Can our punishment be delayed? I want permission to go home. I'm not feeling well. And the problem in the photocopy room was just a misunderstanding" explained Mauren.

Sean panicked and then held Mauren's forehead, he felt that Mauren's body temperature was hot.

He told Mauren to go home.

"Call Mr. Zainal here to pick up my Oren, Kim!"

"Good Sir"

"You rest at home, baby. Call Aunt Inah to cook for you and accompany you" Sean said, clasping Mauren's hand.

Mauren simply nodded her head and forcibly removed Sean's grasp.

He even looked away and did not want to look at Sean.

What's the matter? Is Oren mad at me?
