MMSM 2: Chapter 156 - Honeymoon (Korea)

Sean and Mauren are enjoying their honeymoon while Assistant Kim takes over the company while the master is away.

Kim's assistant is the person Sean trusts the most. Sean casually leaves his company in Kim's hands.

"Kim?" dasha opened the door to her room.

"Can you knock on the door first?" ask Assistant Kim.

Dasha laughed, she then approached Assistant Kim. "Don't! Haha... It's so exciting that Sean is on his honeymoon when his company's stock plummets"

"That's none of your business, you're just a driver for Miss Mauren and you can't interfere in the company's business" Assistant Kim said.

Dasha gasped at Assistant Kim's words. He was annoyed at the man younger than him.

"It's just that everyone hates you, you're too proud. How good were you to be Sean's assistant for so many years?" dasha.

"Ask Mr. Sean himself!"

Dasha screeched then left Assistant Kim's room.

Sean and Mauren arrived in Korea after a flight from Thailand.

Mauren wanted to come to Korea. He was very curious about the ginseng country.

On the way to the hotel, Sean gets word from Dasha that Assistant Kim is corrupt and takes a lot of company money.

Dasha also convinces Sean to immediately fire Assistant Kim, who is now suspected of controlling the company while Sean is not there.

Sean did not want the matter to disturb his mind. He kept his phone and threw away his dirty thoughts about the assistant.

Sean was surprised again and smiled, not wanting to ruin his honeymoon just because of company problems.

They went to Jeju Island and crossed by boat.

Inside the ship Sean was still pensive thinking about it earlier. Maybe the assistant betrayed him.

While Mauren is engrossed in taking pictures regardless of Sean who is daydreaming.

After returning home from my honeymoon I will ask Kim this directly. Why would he betray me?

After arriving at Jeju island they take a walk following the direction of the tour guide. Sean, who is thinking about the betrayal of the assistant and Mauren who is thinking about Arseina, makes this honeymoon in Korea feel empty because they do not focus on their honeymoon.

Especially when Mauren got word from her mother if Seina was sick with fever and fuss all night.

"Oppa?" said Mauren wanted to tell if he had adopted the baby but suddenly Sean told him first.

"Oren, do you believe that Kim would betray me?" ask Sean.

Mauren frowned, he still did not understand the purpose of Sean's conversation.

"The corruption team is almost 10 billion, I don't believe it, but when I checked the data from my subordinates it was true that Kim was corrupt" Sean said. "I'm sorry if I ruined our honeymoon" Sean said.

Mauren still does not believe Sean's words. Kim's assistant corruption? That's very unlikely. Moreover, Assistant Kim is famous as an honest assistant.

"I didn't mind his nominal but my trust in him has always been betrayed" Sean continued.

Mauren patted Sean on the shoulder, encouraging the husband, who was still shocked by the assistant's betrayal.

Sean smiled and then asked to focus on the honeymoon this time and forgot all the problems for a moment.

The breeze hit their hair especially Mauren looks fun to take selfies with a beautiful sea background.

While Sean was sitting on the beach watching the wife was busy taking selfies.

Mauren watched Sean and approached him.

"Oppa, let's just go back to the hotel yuk!" mauren said he saw Sean was so sad.

"Why, Oren? Don't mind me! Enjoy it while you're here" Sean said.

"Why would I enjoy it if Oppa was sad like this. Let's just rest in the hotel until tomorrow after that directly to Paris," Mauren invited.

Sean nods his head, he feels bad for Mauren who has ruined their honeymoon.

Which had been a schedule of sightseeing until night now they returned to the hotel and decided to rest there until tomorrow.

In the car Sean was silent, making Mauren worried. He knows what it's like to be betrayed by someone to let him know Sean's grief.

"Why didn't Oppa call Kim directly?" ask Mauren.

"Freely, this problem cannot be explained over the phone" Sean explained.

"Oppa don't be sad. Or do we just go home?"

"Don't Oren! Don't sacrifice our honeymoon! Just today we stay in the hotel, tomorrow we start again to Paris. I promise I won't ruin our honeymoon" Sean said.

Mauren smiled and hugged Sean. It doesn't matter if the honeymoon is disrupted, the most important thing is that Sean's mood must be good first.

The time shows at 12 pm, after arriving at the hotel they immediately ate lunch and then rest in the hotel room.

After being in a hotel room, Sean immediately threw himself in bed. He tried to sleep but he could not.

His mind grew increasingly chaotic thinking of his friend who could ruin his trust.

"Oppa?" mauren.

"Yes"

"I don't know Kak Kim very well but I don't think Kak Kim could have done that" Mauren said.

"You're defending him?"

Mauren gasped at Sean's words. "It's not so oppa, it's just my thinking"

"You don't remember when Kim kissed you behind my back? Doesn't that prove that Kim can commit treason?" sean asked, looking at Mauren.

Mauren was speechless. Indeed, what Sean said was true, he also felt guilty when involved in the betrayal.

"I just want you to be honest. I don't want treason. You and Kim are the most important people in my life"

Mauren hugs Sean, she can see her husband is quite traumatized and afraid of betrayal. Sean returned Mauren's embrace, he spilled all his sadness. Moreover, he now knows if Kim is corruption in his company.

Sean trusted Kim a lot. Kim is her best friend from adolescence.

Sean took off his arms and told Mauren to cook something to eat.

Mauren smiles. They finally went to the kitchen together.

They cook together, Sean opens a refrigerator that contains fresh food that has not been cooked.

"We cook my meat, I want to eat meat" Sean said.

"Alright, oppa. I'll prepare the season"

Mauren slices onions and chili along with its complementary vegetables. Sean washes the meat to make it cleaner.

"The Oppa? Don't think! I don't want my honeymoon ruined because of work"

"The more I want to not remember it, the more vivid the memory becomes. I feel heartache if Kim can do that" Sean said as he cleaned the meat.

Mauren put the knife down, washed his hands and hugged Sean.

"I'll always be next to you, oppa. I will always encourage you. I love you" said Mauren.
