Getting Married (Sean & Mauren)

Marrying

A village on the edge of town when they set foot.

Mauren soon walks into his house with Sean, who seems confident and calm, but Mauren is unsure that her parents will agree to her sudden marriage even more so to her father.

His father has a firm and fierce nature when it comes to the man Mauren brought to his house.

Mauren thought hard so that his father would bless his marriage, he did not forget to chant a prayer every time he went to his house.

"Who are you?" asked Mr. Mauren while pointing the machete towards Sean.

Sean's guts as if he could see the face of his future father-in-law who looked fierce let alone machete in the hands of father Mauren made Sean's face more panicked and afraid.

Mauren hugged her father tightly and told Sean to enter the house, Mauren's mother took Sean in immediately and made him a drink.

Mauren's mother immediately made a drink for Sean.

Mr. Mauren sat across from Sean, he looked at Sean with a fierce face in a curious mix.

Mauren is the only daughter, she never brought even a guy.

The machete carried by Mr. Mauren was placed on the table with a loud sound. Mauren prefers to sit near Sean making his father even more angry.

"What's your purpose here?" ask the father while twisting his long mustache.

"We want to get married!" chirps Mauren.

His father immediately raised a machete and pointed it at Sean's face. Mauren protected her while stroking her own stomach.

"Don't you"

Mauren nodded her head, Sean was still dumbstruck. Blood immediately boiled in the head of the father, he did not expect his daughter to get pregnant out of wedlock even though Mauren only lied so that the father would bless her marriage.

The father put his machete, he held his own head, he is now quite disappointed with himself for failing to educate the child.

Suddenly the mother came with 4 cups of tea, the mother saw the situation became silent to each other, finally she opened the conversation.

"I'm pregnant mak" Mauren replied.

Sean was shocked and instantly opened his mouth to speak the truth but Mauren stomped her feet hard making herself feel pain.

Father and mother immediately take care of their marriage contract which will be done this afternoon, they have to marry their daughter if not the boy will run away.

Sean was still staring at Mauren blankly, he saw the girl grinning.

"Cancel this marriage, didn't you tell me you were pregnant?"

"You want to die, huh? Besides, I was just lying to get my dad and mom to agree to this marriage"
