"It is likely that Graean did not survive" reported Daniel who returned carrying many burn scars on his body. "It's impossible for him to just be silent in a fire of this magnitude."

"Maybe suicide?" Zack frowned. "Well, I think it's impossible but considering that your relationship isn't good, it's logically possible."

Elios was silent. Just keep looking at the fire that devoured his palace. The Graean treason option is indeed possible. He has a motive, even a very big one.

A grudge that could arise because Elios never noticed it, a feeling of jealousy because Elios made more love with Roxanne than Graean, even the relationship of Elios and Eirene right in front of the Graean.

All of these could be reasons for betrayal.

But ....

That woman betrayed? It's bullshit!

Elios stared at everything with a complicated mind.

From the beginning he refused to be human. He decided to become a robot and stopped worrying about his feelings. I know Graean better than anyone.

He could not have betrayed even if he held a grudge.

The problem is, then how did this all happen? Only Graean could do enough.

All of Elios' wives besides him were useless. The structure of this residence, its arrangements and improvements, were all also controlled by the Graean.

So no offender could be suspected other than him.

"Elios, let's back off. The heat here is bad for your skin" Daniel said, worrying about it.

Elios stood looking at everything. "Find my wife" murmured Elios.

"Elios, Graean has—"

"I know and don't care. I have to find him" Elios said.

In the midst of the confusion, Elios could not hold back his memory of the Graean.

That day, the day Elios went crazy and perhaps in his craziest condition, Elios remembered Graean standing before him.

Holding the sword drenched in the blood of Elios' other wives and staring at Elios without hesitation.

"If killing everyone makes your mind calmer, you can do it to me too. It was also my duty" said the woman first.

But, as the tip of his sword touched the Graean neck, Elios' hand trembled. Unknowingly the sword fell and he dazed into his wife's arms.

"Stay beside me" Elios whispered that day. "only you. Stay here."

Graean smiled bitterly. "You really like torturing me. And I'm ready to die in your hands."

"...."

"Heard you just mentioned the Young Miss hurt me. You know it and you keep doing it. Shouldn't you at least be kind, letting me go instead of locking me up in this annoying hell?"

Elios was clutching a Graean dress.

There was no special wife of Elios in his eyes. No one would ever seize Eirene's position among them. But, Graean is different. He was Elios's own hands, eyes, feet, ears, and mind.

He knows everything and understands everything.

"Young Master."

Elios, Daniel and Zack both turned towards the servant who suddenly came near them.

"Mistress Roxanne's bodyguard has already contacted the main residence. First Young Master is likely to arrive any minute." So the waiter said.

Elios wasn't sane enough so Daniel replaced him, "I understand. Stay away from the fire. Make sure all the Young Master's wives stay safe."

"Good."

As the servant moved away, Elios looked up at the flames. No one will know how complicated his mind is, but now Elios can't vent it either.

"Hide this from Arkas" he said. "Let's say Graean blew up this castle because it couldn't stand me. Don't say anything but that."

Because if Arkas interfered, Elios would definitely not be able to do anything about it. The man hated Elios and did not believe him even a little.

"Then" Elios turned, "seeing every other motion of my wife. Especially Roxanne, Sanya, Diane, and Maria."

Although there may not be one of them, but Elios felt there was at least a hint if he watched them carefully.

Especially Roxanne and Sanya.
