"Your punishment seems to be quite effective."
Very different from when talking to Roxanne, Arkas looked at Elios as if he was staring at trash.
"Former romance in Roxanne's body is fun to see. At least you should use one or two things to repay them."
Elios just closed his eyes behind his blindfold.
Actually Elios did not need to wear it in front of Arcas, because he was a man and Elios was quite sure he did not see men as Eirene.
But seeing Arkas made Elios lazy, so he kept wearing an eye patch.
"It's funny." Elios was not interested. "Pretend to think I'm pleasing my cattle. You were a bitch from the beginning."
"In the history of Narendra, the first son was always hated by his younger brother." Arkas replied that he did not lose his laziness. "It's more fun to love a woman."
"I do think it would be much more fun if you just sent your wife. Maybe he can straddle for a while in front of me."
Elios was silent when the sound of the glass behind him broke from something. Fresh blood flowed from Elios' torn ear thanks to Arkas's dagger just now.
From the pain, Elios knew his ears were torn about two inches.
It's a sentimental guy. Then he was always angry because of Elios' emotions.
"You're angry just because of the cattle." Elios grinned. "Hey, idiot, you might have thrown Narendra's name away from me but I grew up just like you. Your wives or my wives, they all have no family, not even a name except Narendra, as proof that they're just cattle."
"You bothered to scratch my body for acknowledging them. That's too far."
Of course Arcas was not the one who would say that his wife was precious above Elios. Because if he says that, he's the same as insulting Narendra.
Only Elios' name changed, his blood did not. Arkas will never be able to deny that.
"Let's stop talking about livestock." Elios leaned back on his chair. "Then, what's the point of you coming to meet a despicable person like me, hm?"
"Yesterday Dioris was pierced by a sword and had severe bleeding, in this place. I told him to keep an eye on me and you hurt my man."
That's not Elios. It was Zack. Well, although Elios cannot say he is clean.
"I just want to know you're upset or are luring your sister to act more decisively."
Arkas. "Elios, your acting skills are getting better apparently. To bother acting like your character is changing. Whatever it is, you know I'll always treat you the same?"
Elios smiles. "You're talking about Dioris or my new cattle, Roxanne?"
This way Elios has made sure that Arkas does not know what Elios' purpose is to act strangely lately. He seemed quite curious about what had happened and what Elios was willing to do, to the point that he declared the desire to rotate his wife.
It is true that Elios had no interest in them.
Although they were girls and obviously more alluring than the Graeans who had accompanied him for more than ten years, Elios withstood the Graeans.
For Elios is lazy to deal with the girl who thinks they can have her heart.
Now Elios is giving a chance.
"I had Zack attack Dioris just because she was upset" Elios murmured while alone in the bridal chamber.
"But let it be if Arkas thinks it's because I don't want Dioris to help Roxanne. The more confused he is, the more I can laugh at him."
Elios is not a man of great purpose. He was banished and he was forbidden to have children. Most of his wives were rendered barren, and Elios had a surgical procedure at the behest of Arkas.
Elios' goal is to live until his life is no longer interesting. Money, power, women, nothing interesting because Elios didn't have to look for them.
Elios' power will never increase even if Arcas dies. Elios' wealth will not increase or decrease as long as Narendra is still standing. And women, as long as they're not Eirene, Elios doesn't care.
"I just hate being blamed the most."
Elios crushed the rose petals in his grasp.
"Then Roxanne should be an example for everyone to stop blaming me."
Forcibly, Elios will make them stop saying he did something wrong. And Roxanne is responsible because she's the one who yelled out to tell Elios the guilty one.
Above everything.
