Forced Marriage: Thirteenth Wife

Forced Marriage: Thirteenth Wife
28. Ten Years in Sia-Sia

"One month."

Arkas' third wife smiled sweetly hearing him. "What are you talking about, Young Master?"

"Since I locked up the boy."

"You mean Young Master Elios?"

Arkas supported his cheek with his hand. Stare blankly at the letter he received from the Graean for the umpteenth time.

The letter contains :

Dear ones, First Young Master.

...I know your anger at your sister is huge. I admit with embarrassment that Young Master does make trouble for you often. But, his condition is now getting worse and we are all worried about him. ...

...Even if my Young Master would be angry if he asked for this, I would still ask for it. Can his sentence be commuted? ...

...Please always remember he is still your brother who spent time with you long ago. ...

^^^Signs, Graean. ^^^

"If you think about it again, you held it for quite a while." Arkas' wife tilted a confused face. "I know Young Master Elios broke the deal, but isn't a month too long?"

Arkas knows.

"In addition, I think his last wife now, is likely to be even more isolated. Is there a specific reason why you made this decision?"

Sure oes. Arkas did not make it solely to torture anyone.

"Roxanne needs to learn about what world she lives in now," replied Arkas faintly yet quite audibly. "And Elios doesn't like weak and pathetic women."

Eirene Narendra's. She was not only born as a beautiful girl but also grew into an extraordinary woman. If only the boy were still alive, Arkas was sure he would stand by his side as one of the crutches for the next generation of Narendra.

"In other words you betroth Roxanne to Young Master Elios?"

"Please take it that way."

Although it is not very appropriate to call it that. Arkas is only interested in the great greed in Roxanne's eyes which at first glance looks just like an oppressed girl.

She was really pitiful from the outside but in her eyes it looked like she was ready even if there was a position as the World Queen.

"Also," Arkas dropped his head on the back of the chair. Clenched tightly with both hands suddenly strengthened.

"I'm not willing," whispered Arkas, "that man still thinks of my little brother after his deed."

Arkas always felt too late to act. If only he had been aware of Eirene's plan a little sooner, Arcas would have separated Elios and Irene.

That the child should not have to stab his own heart.

Arkas' body shook as he recalled Eirene's body lying in his room, covered in blood. He remembered the moment it came, the knife was still stuck in his heart, in the position of Eirene who held tightly to the knife itself.

Arkas recalls how Elios knelt among the pool of blood on Eirene's beloved carpet, lost his sanity.

"Young Master." Arkas's wife touches his arm before Arkas sinks deeper and deeper. "Calm yourself."

It's been.

Arkas has been trying for the last ten years.

He tried and kept trying to calm down, forgiving little of Elios as his younger brother as well.

But the longer Arkas' anger burns. He never wanted one of his sisters, even though they were different mothers and fathers, to die stabbing his own heart.

"First Brother." Arkas still remembered how the boy smiled gracefully calling out to him at their last conversation. "I'm Narendra, aren't I?"

Arkas was unaware of the meaning of his sister's speech at the time. If only he had been sober instead of thinking it was just a casual conversation, Arkas would have known Eirene's crazy plan.

Arkas should not have replied, "Is there anyone who doubts that, Sweet Brother? Even the sun and moon acknowledge the beauty of my little sister."

At that time, Arkas was not supposed to laugh when he saw Eirene laughing. "First Brother must always remember that I loved my blood as Narendra so much."

"really? Should I take notes? Or do I have to carve your sentence on a rock that is now an heirloom?"

Eirene had already thought of everything as she extended her favorite red rose to Arkas' hand.

"I will continue to live as Narendra. Keeping all my honor as Narendra. So please take care of this family even a thousand years later, Brother."

Arkas could now only clutch his own head, feeling the pain and rejection of Eirene's death.

"Young Master, come back in your building. I'll ask your sisters to come. It might not hurt to take them tea together" his wife said, giving subtle advice.

"Good idea." Arkas immediately smiled gently. "Call me Aunt Medea, too. I haven't talked to him in a long time."
