Forced Marriage: Thirteenth Wife

Forced Marriage: Thirteenth Wife
Too Hoarse

Everyone has a different personality within them. Things they may often call conscience and worldly passions.

In that darkness, Roxanne curled up alone. Witnessing two different forms of her, standing very far away there.

One of them was covered in blood, while the other was crying sobbing.

"There's still a chance." Roxanne's bloodied self was piercing a dagger into Elios' heart. She smiled brightly when her face splashed with blood. "You're going to kill everything. Get up and do it. Stop being a whiny."

But Roxanne's other self was on her knees, crying like a helpless baby. He cried so much that he could not say that everything was useless.

He cried for admitting that Roxanne was so weak and pitiful. It's so sad he can't be helped anymore. Cannot be done at all.

"Roxenne!" His bloodied self shouted loudly. "Stop being weak! Get up and make your word happen! Kill everyone to be happy! That's what Sanya did, right?!"

While her crying self shook pointed at Roxanne. "But you are weak. Weak and disgusting, hyster. Very annoying, hiks. Everyone is only deceiving you because you are worthless. Hicks, hyx. What else is it to hope for?"

Roxanne closed her eyes and ears, refusing to hear the two of them.

Had enough. He doesn't want any more. Struggling or getting hurt, Roxanne won't do it again.

Leave it alone.

"Roxanne's! Get up and kill everyone!"

"Hiks, you disgusting pest."

Leave her alone!

Arkas frowned as the corner of Roxanne's eyes let out tears. Spontaneously he reached out, rubbing the water droplets even though there was no sign Roxanne would wake up.

"I made you cry again." Arkas could only mutter guiltily. "I didn't protect you like I promised."

But Arkas never reneged on his promise. But somehow, to Roxanne, he always failed to fulfill that promise.

"I have to what?" Even if it hurt so much for Arkas's wound to bow, he stayed down, putting his forehead on Roxanne's hand. "What do I do to keep no one from getting hurt?"

Arkas felt his heart hurt much more than the wound Sanya had given him.

Everything is so hard to make happen. Arkas felt that things were not going as he expected.

Besides Elios, Arkas always did it for the sake of this family and the happiness of the people in its shade. But why is Roxanne still crying?

"You're right. It's my fault." Arkas again sat up straight, wiping Roxanne's tears flowing from the corner of his eye. "I'm responsible, so don't blame yourself, Little Brother."

"That's not too haughty?"

Arkas flinched until the wound on his waist was unusually painful. But Arkas could not even grimace seeing Askala standing in the doorway of Eris' room.

Damnit. Eris was going to the Star Castle right now to see Sanya.

"Skala, don't come any closer."

Askala the new one will step straight to a stop. "Why? You're afraid I hurt your little sister?"

Is correct. As long as there is no pity or conscience to care about Roxanne dying. If he gets angry, he'll take it out.

"No, my sister," Arkas denied lying. "Just—"

"That's what I just called haughty, pathetic base." Askala growled furiously. "Just say the honesty you're stammering, then you think there's something quite useful you're doing?"

".... It's not time to talk about that." Arkas stood up, pulling the bed curtains to cover Roxanne before she stepped closer to Askala. "Go to Daddy's. I'll catch up if Eris comes back."

Askala was smiling. "My arrogant brother. It's a true Narendra."

"Skala."

"Responsibility is not enough to make that insult go away, you idiot!" Askala robs Arkas's collar, yelling at him. "Pronounce it to him! Keep saying that! You are responsible, you are responsible, you are responsible! Let's say!"

Arkas turned away, not replying.

"You think he'll wake up if you're in charge? Don't blame her for all your faults?! Yeah, true! Everything's wrong! A weak man who only knows how to whine fearfully at his responsibilities like you doesn't deserve to be an heir!"

At the time, Arkas knew he was just tired. Half of it is due to the pain of the wound.

But Askala's words provoked a great fire which Arkas always tried to put out. Unknowingly, Arkas grabbed Askala's hand, yelling back at him.

"You said that just because you're selfish!"
