19. The Man Who Hates to be Blamed

Perhaps, the strangulation and pain made Roxanne go crazy as well.

Her brain knew that now she had to apologize and kowtow to be given the chance, but instead of doing that, Roxanne said something crazy.

"Well," he said among the trembling sounds. "Previous of that please answer me."

Elios looked at him coldly. But the fact he seemed to be waiting for that question was enough for Roxanne.

"Painting." Roxanne smiled madly. "Who is the woman in the painting of the room, Young Master?"

As expected, Elios' eyes immediately went crazy. The man strangled Roxanne once more, now with a truly powerful force.

Roxanne's eyes were bleached from the pain. He may not have cared for his own life because he was fed up.

His mouth was trying to mess with him due to heartache.

"You did something wrong." Although it was faint, it definitely sounded clear. "You sin, that's why you're outcast."

Roxanne's just repeating Arkas' words.

This man committed a sin. A sin so great that he did not even resist when Arkas acted arbitrarily at him.

And then he said he hated being blamed. He even willingly waited for time to kill Roxanne just so Roxanne said she wasn't wrong.

Meaning, he really did not want to hear the sentence of the offender. He really hates her.

"Basic disgusting." Roxanne's on the edge of the line. "You're disgusting."

When Roxanne believes her life will not survive, Elios's strangulation suddenly loosens.

The man suddenly looked empty. It was completely empty as if his soul was gone.

Elios fell backwards, holding his face as he grimaced.

"I did nothing wrong" he murmured in despair. "I did nothing wrong!"

Roxanne needs to know what causes her to be so, but Roxanne also needs to live.

When Elios was unconscious, Roxanne ran away. Go leave Elios who keeps saying the same thing.

Diane looked at him expressionlessly as if she herself had no interest in Roxanne.

Roxanne tried not to show the answer that it was true. Does that mean Arkas tried to kill him?

I almost died for what he thought. Roxanne clenched her hands tightly, but was silent.
