Forced Marriage: Thirteenth Wife

Forced Marriage: Thirteenth Wife
45. Stay Moving

Roxanne was getting used to reading the atmosphere of this residence even though everyone was silent. Judging from how people, even servants, did not wander about in the slightest except at a certain time, it seemed like something was happening up there.

And it must be about Elios.

Roxanne certainly follows them to be careful when going out. He would have been killed at the hands of the stranger, but not at the hands of Elios.

Because if he was, it would seem that he would torture Roxanne to the point of being completely depleted.

The pain sucks.

All the time, Roxanne just stayed in her room. He only went out to eat once, did not find it difficult with that because there was no work at all that he did until he needed to eat three times.

Roxanne sat down and lay down as she pleased. Waiting for time to pass while keeping an eye on the situation.

Until that night finally came.

The night when Roxanne was in her sleep, suddenly a hand strangled Roxanne. It's not a man's hand. It's a woman's hand, of her size.

"Ugh." Roxanne was blocked and tried hard to breathe. His eyes tried hard to catch the figure.

Elios' wife, is she? Marianas? Diane's? Or someone Roxanne doesn't know yet?

But before being able to confirm itself, blood had suddenly dripped onto Roxanne's face, followed by her body being pulled away from her.

"Servant." The cold voice came back, observing the corpse whose neck he had just torn apart. "Miss Sierra seems to be playing around."

Roxanne's still trying to lean on. Slowly he woke up, staring at the foul-smelling liquid he had gotten from his face.

Bloods.

Blood of the man who was alive.

"Why?" roxanne murmured between shocks.

"Foolish question," the foreigner recalled. "Of course no Narendra was happy enough to hear a lowly person claiming to be Young Miss Eirene. Exception to First Young Master, do you think it's funny seeing you take Miss's place?"

No. gabe. That's not what Roxanne asked.

He asks why this man saved her when he hated Roxanne?

"Young Master Arkas." Roxanne wiped the blood off her face while trying to hold back the disgust. "So that's why you keep an eye on me constantly."

The man frowned unhappily. He grabbed the corpse on the bloodied floor, dragging it all the way to the front door.

Roxanne hears the man asking for his body to be cleaned up, then she closes the door back, heading for the balcony.

"Clean his own blood" he said before disappearing somewhere.

Inevitably he had to go down, clean up the blood himself. While trying not to vomit by a new sense of trauma.

He said Sierra, Roxanne whispered in his mind. So that sweet kid back then was actually crazy, too? Though he was a child.

It seems that the way to survive in this place is only one.

Go crazy with Narendra.

"Do you think I want to continue being his stupid party?" Roxanne deliberately spoke quite loudly even though she wasn't sure whether she heard it or not.

For days, did everyone think Roxanne wasn't planning anything new?

He's been crazy ever since the stranger grabbed Roxanne by the collar that night.

Now Roxanne's moving.

"Servant Elios hurt Roxanne?" Arkas tapped the tip of his index finger on the table surface. "I don't think it's going to happen unless someone inside helps him. It's not like Graean."

"Mariana" said the man who reported to Arkas. "I'm pretty sure he knows."

"Mary, huh? She's an interesting woman, indeed. Not from the farm but its nature is like having no heart. I like him enough."

A person like Mariana would be strong without much help. As long as he was given a chance, even without motivation, he would move on his own.

Maybe that's why Graean also trusted the child a little.

"Letting Sierra interfere in Elios' private residence violates the rules. I want to reprimand him."

The man by the window immediately replied, "You want to take advantage of the situation?"

Arkas smiles. "Roxanne's starting to develop. Honey if it bothers him now."

"Then what about the medicine in his hands?"

"It was just a trick." Arkas fluttered his hands. "Elios was affected for quite a while it seemed like he was somewhat weakened. The boy is cured now, so it's impossible for the cure to be of any use."

"In other words," the man murmured, "You want to ignore everything?"

".... Just keep an eye on Roxanne."

"Good."
