CHAPTER 74

"Easy, huh? Now it's time for the Baron to rest" said Arita, trying to put her son to sleep over the cold of the hospital gurney.

After being moved in the same room as the mother, the child appears more spoiled than before. Now, the Baron still has not closed his eyes even though the clock has shown at 10 p.m.

"Can I ask you a favor? Add one pillow here," Pinta Arita to Riko who is currently still in the same room with him. Accompanied by his two men who were guarding the outdoors, the man was still stand by guarding Arita.

Seeing one of Arita's arms used as a cushion by the Baron, made Riko nod her head.

"Lift a little bit of your head," said the man followed by Arita without the slightest rebuttal. Aided by Riko, the woman raised her head to add a pillow under her neck.

"Thank you" said the woman after she felt comfortable. After Riko moved away from the bed, Arita gave her a quick glance just to be sure.

"You're not sleeping? Looks like you guys need some rest" asked Arita recalling how hard the man had been to help her save the Baron since this afternoon. While the little one, now also look at him with a face that looks very sleepy.

While Riko, the man actually sat his body on the sofa so relaxed. That's what makes Arita surprised by Riko's attitude that seems to be no tired. "You hear me?" ask Arita again.

"If you're sleepy, go to sleep. Don't babble much" said the man to open his voice. Getting a tone of judes from the man, of course, made Arita feel strange.

"Yes, if so, it's up to you" said Arita trying to end the conversation with the man. Shortly after, he began to close his eyes with the Baron sleeping next to him. Likewise with Riko who has begun to focus again with her phone.

However, Arita was still unable to close her eyes tightly. Given the shadows of Danu that are still recorded clearly in his memory, Arita still shuddered in horror. Plus, he also thought of the figure of the man who had helped him save Baron.

"As for the advice, what if you guys are looking for lodging near here?" the woman without opening her eyes. Suddenly, Riko raised both eyebrows full of questions. As soon as he turned his head towards the bed, he found Arita who started to open her eyelids.

"You don't have to bother thinking about us, because we're used to this. Come on, sleep, don't think too much!" firm the man made Arita open her eyes. Through the tail of her eyes, the woman sneered at Riko by mimicking the man's words.

"Yes yes, you are as stubborn as your cousin. Do what you want, whatever," said Arita by closing her eyes again. Not wanting to make a debate with the man, Arita finally really intends to sleep.

Time continued to go on, the silence that accompanied Riko in the room. In addition to Andre and Patricia who constantly contact him, Gibran and Mona also do the same thing just to ask news from Arita and Baron.

"Do you want coffee, sir?" ask one of his men while opening the door. Finding that, made Riko nod her head. He thinks, maybe one cup of hot coffee can make it to repel the drowsiness that began to attack him.

After the door closed again, the man stared at the wall clock above the gurney.

The clock is showing at 01:00 p.m. However, I don't know why Riko felt it for so long. When he was about to get out of the room to catch up with his men, the man came to a halt due to a voice from someone.

"Richo?" call the voice he recognized Arita's, with his hoarse tone.

"What's wrong? You need anything?" ask the man as he approaches him. As soon as he stood next to the hospital gurney, he looked at Arita who was still closing her eyes.

"Can you help me to the toilet?" pinta the woman while opening her eyes without making any movement.

"Please bring the Baron in first," the woman asked in a voice so softly, that it kept the Baron undisturbed from his sleep.

According to Arita's instructions, Riko lifted the little guy's body so that the woman could pull his arm. With great care Arita also tried to get up from his lying position while holding on to the edge of the gurney. After Riko put down Baron's body again, the woman immediately went down and walked towards the toilet next to her room.

"Sstt .. shstt .. shht .." whispered the man while stroking the forehead of the little one to fall back asleep. The moment he heard the small whimper from the Baron made Riko a little panicked to calm the boy back down.

"Arita, are you still a long time?" asked the man trying to call Arita and hope that the woman can hear him. He was so afraid that the Baron would wake up from his sleep, that it was troublesome for Arita to put him back to sleep.

However, shortly after that Arita started to open the toilet door and walked quickly towards him. Sontak Riko was relieved, after the mother of one child came back closer to the gurney to calm the Baron.

"I'm sorry .. maybe because I was too noisy to make it a little disturbed" said Riko apologized because Baron moved his body a little as if disturbed. Hearing that, Arita shook her head in disapproval.

"It's okay, he is indeed a little sensitive like this when sleeping," said Arita so that makes Riko nodded her head understand.

Indeed, his little son always made movements every time he slept as if looking for comfort.

"You go up first. I will carry her body so that you can lie down" said the man, who was taken by the woman without waiting for long. After that, Riko helped Baron to return to his original position with Arita's arm as a cushion for the little guy.

"Thank you so much and sorry to bother you so much" said Arita apologized, making the man smile thinly at her.

"It's okay, just relax. Do not consider it a heavy request," said Riko by pairing a blanket on the body of both.

Arita was silent for a moment when she noticed the reflex behavior of the man, who put a blanket on her body and also the Baron. When they opened their voices, they both looked directly at the door that opened from the outside.

"I'm sorry, sir. Here's a cup of coffee for you" said one of his men while bowing their heads because they felt presumptuous by opening the door without knocking first.

"It's okay, bring it here," said Riko without any emotion in his speech. Because nothing happened, he was not immediately disturbed by the presence of the man in this room.

"Thank you" he said after receiving a cup of hot coffee he believed from the hospital cafeteria.

After the departure of his men, the door of the room was closed again leaving Riko and Arita who were still not sleepy.

"You go back to sleep, it's midnight" said the man who was re-nodged by Arita.

In her silence, the woman felt very lucky after getting the calamity received by her son. Although initially he will take care of this problem alone, but in fact Riko was present to help him.

"I told you to sleep, not daydream, Madam!" insinuating the man so that make the daydream Arita scattered by him. The woman, who was his cousin's future wife, stared with a sadistic look.
