Father To Baron

Father To Baron
CHAPTER 57

"Ma, let's go in" Mona asked by touching her mother's shoulder. Seeing the look of the astonished face of the 60-year-old woman, Mona let out a long sigh.

As for his father and Edward, he had now walked first to leave him. Because he did not get a response from his mother, Mona immediately followed her husband and father without thinking long.

"Mona, are you sure?" asked the woman while following her eldest daughter. Once next to Mona, she tightly blocked her daughter's wrist. When her daughter was about to step up, the woman immediately held her back.

"Mama what the fuck, anyway?! Please behave accordingly," beg the woman who does not want the mother to do things beyond reason. Keeping her words this afternoon, Mona actually brought her parents to visit Arita's house.

"Hurry up, Honey .." said Edward, staring at two women of different ages.

"Wait a minute" he held the woman and turned his head toward Edward. His gaze immediately looked at the two mama's netra, then Mona touched both of the woman's shoulders firmly.

"Mona and Edward ask for help, speak carefully. Do not let the words that you say hurt the hearts of others," his memory for the umpteenth time, so as to make the middle-aged woman keep the hand of the princess from his shoulders.

"Mama always talks on the basis of facts" he said, trying to find a defense.

"The yardstick of a person will be appreciated or not, based on his own words," said the notary in a beautiful line, while staring fixedly at the eyes of the mother. Afterwards, Mona leaves the stubborn woman.

"Who taught it that way" muttered Patricia Daniswara—the mother of Mona and Gibran who was a Spanish woman.

"Let your mom wait for Gibran. Let's go in first," Mona invites by embracing the papa's burly arms. As for Edward, standing next to his in-laws casually. As soon as he got the nods of the two men's heads, Mona smiled.

"Wait for mama" said someone behind them, who could be sure it was Patricia.

After that, they began to enter the terrace of the house that looks minimalist with shades of white and black. Seeing the door open, Mona knocks on it slowly. Shortly after, a woman with her home dress began to appear.

"Hi, Arita .. we really came to visit" said Monalisa, as she arrived before them all. Enthusiastically, Mona embraces Arita's body, like a close friend.

"Let's go in, please" bargained the owner of the house as he opened the door wider.

Arriving in a medium-sized living room, the four sat their bodies in a soft gray sofa. Arita greeted her guests very politely, thus making them comment on a warm smile. Except for Patricia, who shook hands in a very short time.

"How was the trip, sir, Mom? It must be very tiring," said Arita who tried to open a chat, after sitting his body on a single sofa in his living room.

"Imagine it, we flew from abroad directly here" said Andre who is a successful businessman from this city. "But it's okay, for the sake of keeping my daughter's request, I have to sacrifice my ass to the heat,"

Suddenly, the words of the 64-year-old man invited laughter for everyone. Likewise with the wife, who glanced at him. As her net witnessed Arita's natural laughter, it somehow made her feel de javu.

"Oh, isn't papa sincere? You know, Mona will not ask papa," said the woman while pointing at her papa.

"Just kidding, girl .." refuted the 2-boy man while patting Mona's head briefly. Watching that, made Arita lower her head by holding back the tightness that instantly filled her chest cavity.

"Had, he said it was coming soon," Mona replied, showing a message to her phone. Seeing that, made Edward nod his head because he felt relieved.

"Oh yes, from the story I heard, it turns out that Arita is a competent employee in the field you take. Honestly, we'd really like to hear it" he said after hearing a short story about Arita from his daughter.

"What's your job?" ask Patricia quickly.

As soon as the net looked at each other with the woman, Arita immediately thinned her lips and tried to review the smile even though it was very small. His hands clutched together, and made Arita take a deep breath.

"I've been in the world of per-notary since seven years ago. And now, I'm on the staff at Ms. Mona's office, "he said, making her nod her head.

Finding Patricia's gaze involved heavily scrutinizing her, made Arita feel a little uncomfortable. Realizing that, Andre then touched the wife's shoulder gently as a code to stop it.

"Why not set up your own notary office?" ask the woman, which is more precisely as an idea for Arita.

"So far I haven't thought up to that level. After all, to continue his education, it takes time and costs more. In the meantime, I'm more focused on doing tasks that concern my passion."

Again and again, Andre was amazed by this young lady before him. True said his daughter, that Arita is a simple woman. However, he was somehow able to see the other side of the woman.

"I'm sorry I'm late" the whole attention goes straight to Gibran who just knocked on Arita's door.

The man, who was wearing a denim jacket as his outer and jeans, began to step in politely. Arita stood up from her seat, then invited Gibran to sit in an empty space.

"Are you not disciplined, Gib? You're fifteen minutes late from the time you promised" Andre said, staring at his son.

Arita gulped her saliva with difficulty, when she found out that humble and witty men like Andre were able to be firm with Gibran. Likewise with his son, immediately apologized and admitted his mistake.

"Already, Pa. Gibran had a need with his assistant" said Edward trying to mediate.

"Smoke your sweat, boy .." said Patricia, giving her son a piece of tissue. From this Arita knows, if both parents have very different traits. However, Gibran ignored the words of his mother, and focused on Arita.

"It's still like that" murmured Patricia because she had a cold attitude from the son. Of course the woman's murmur was able to be heard by the others, so that made Arita look in shock at Gibran.

While Gibran, the man did not feel guilty at all. Gibran thought, maybe this is the right reply for the mother. Because during her growing up, Patricia never paid attention to her. Perhaps only in recent times has the attention of Patricia started to gush on him.

"Baron where, Ar?" ask Gibran.

"He's doing his job. For a moment, let me call you," said Arita as she stood up from her seat. After which, he immediately headed towards the room, where the Baron was.

"What does that mean? Is she a widow?"
