Father To Baron

Father To Baron
CHAPTER 23

"You need not go overboard, brother. My car accidentally crossed a hollow road" defended the man by taking out a cigarette and burning the tip.

Mona, who heard that, breathed a sigh of relief. The body that originally looked stiff, relaxed again with a small smile that rose in his lips. His net looked leisurely at Gibran, who was smoking with his body behind him and Arita.

Seeing the puzzled face of the woman before him, Mona gave a light chuckle.

"It seems I haven't told you yet, if this annoying guy is my only brother. We live far away, because he still lives with our parents. As for me, choosing to stay here because of work."

Arita, who got the information, nodded her head. At first he thought that Mona was a very serious woman, clearly drawn on her face that always looks judes.

But who would have thought, even the woman seemed engrossed in her light-sounding speech. And uniquely, the woman told the figure of her sister without her asking. That made him feel awkward.

"His name, Gibran Daniswara. A much more successful businessman than his older brother" Mona whispered with a small closing of her lips towards Arita. As for the remark, it clearly sounded in Gibran's ears despite his position turning his back on the two of them.

"Please watch your words, brother. Speech is prayer" the man quipped by putting his hand in his pants pocket.

Again and again, Mona chuckled lightly at her sister's brief remark. Likewise with Arita, who felt a little entertained by the conversation of the brothers.

"Disregard that brat, we're back to the original topic." Arita increasingly held her laughter so as not to explode at that moment, as soon as she heard the woman's words. Another case with Gibran, who was used to annoying remarks from his brother.

Straightly, Arita shook her head. Some provisions and regulations in this office, have been sent by Ms. Retno via email. At least he can understand it himself.

"Welcome to this office, may you be at home with all of us." While reviewing her smile, the woman with shoulder-length hair stretched out her hand right in front of Arita. With pleasure, he returned the hand of the superior with a gentle smile.

"Thank you for the cooperation" Mona nodded her head when she heard Arita's words.

Staring at that shady face somehow made Mona's heart feel at peace. Even her voice sounded so soft, it made her feel happy when Arita said something.

"Then can I have permission to leave, ma'am? There's an obligation I have to do" the woman asked slightly unkindly. But how else? It's time for the Baron to go home from school, and that's what makes Arita have to leave immediately.

"Oh of course, thank you very much for the confirmation. Nice to meet you, Arita ..." The two shook hands again, and threw warm smiles at each other.

Mona then began to move, intending to deliver Arita to the front. Following the superior who stood up from her seat, Arita intended to directly step out of the room. However, a deep voice stopped his second footsteps.

"Let me drive you back, miss. Think of it as an apology,"
