Fake Husband - 40 Days Husband

Fake Husband - 40 Days Husband
Chapter 79

Meanwhile, Xena was silent for a moment after seeing Evan leave just like that. However, the disturbing feeling that he was pushed away, he then returned to the room that turned into a mini studio where he stored paintings. As if nothing had happened, Xena was again busy directing the workers to carefully carry all the paintings.

Tika and Ridwan are busy photographing Xena's paintings and preparing to post them in the office. However, the action was done because the newly arrived Xena immediately interrupted. He saw the details of the writing that was almost posted by Tika.

"Why, Mom? Is the picture not good?" ask Xena who is sitting in front of the laptop. While Xena, she held her chin while looking down at the screen.

"No, the pictures you took are good. The lighting is enough. It's just that I don't want to use my real name" Xena said. After that he stood pacing back and forth behind Tika who was looking at each other with Ridwan.

"Then, what name do we use, ma'am?"

"For a moment, let me think."

Silent, Tika and Ridwan could only stare at Xena who was still back and forth while holding her chin. Until finally they were shocked when they heard Xena's shrill cry. Their boss looked very excited.

"I already have a good name. Aililea De Luna's. I'll use that name. Hows it? Nice no?" Xena stared alternately at Tika and Ridwan. The two employees looked serious to make Xena a bit worried, was the name she chose strange?

However, her feelings improved when she saw Tika's smile.

"A good name" said Tika.

"Yes, I think also that name will give us hockey" Ridwan said.

"Good, I hope that name will give us good luck," Xena murmured, her smile expanding. I really hope the paintings do.

While Xena, Ridwan and Tika are trying hard to sell paintings, there is a male adult figure who is cranky in his office. He is Evan, his argument with Xena this morning had an effect on his performance today. Because Xena she can't focus on anything. The Innate just wants to be angry, but confused about who it is.

"You're outrageous, Xen. Am I someone else? Why sell paintings for my money. I'm your husband. My money means your money too. Why pay for everything" Evan grumbled. He leaned back on the chair and hit her slowly with the back of his hand.

After a long while, he sat back up straight and grabbed the phone lying on the table. He touches his screen and wishes Xena a call. It's just wishful thinking, because there wasn't a single message or call from Xena. Seeing that Evan's feelings became more chaotic, he rubbed his angry face with one hand, then looked at the photo togetherness of himself and Xena on the table.

"Am I not worthy of being your husband? Am I just a fake husband to you, Xen? What so?" muttered Evan frustrated.

After returning from the office Evan tried to find the whereabouts of Xena, hoping to speak four eyes, heart to heart, but nil. His wife did not see his nose. From the terrace to the kitchen, he could not find the existence of Xena.

"Where's Madam?" evan asked the housekeeper who happened to be lifting a clothesline in the side garden.

"Mrs Xena hasn't come home yet, sir."

"Not home yet? Clock this?" Evan chuckles tastelessly. The fact that Xena is not home when she comes home from work makes Evan's heart crumble. She felt Xena completely ignored her.

"Do I want to have dinner?"

"no need. Just continue with your work."

After Xena's office had found the house quiet, even some lights had gone out. The busy selling paintings made him forget the time to go home late at night.

"Where's Mister? Is it home yet?" xena asked the housekeeper who opened the door for her.

"Already, Mistress. It's been since the afternoon."

Xena let out a heavy sigh when she remembered her argument with Evan this morning.

"Have he had dinner?" ask Xena again.

"Not Madam. After the office you go straight into the room and don't come out again."

Back Xena sighed heavily, her head slightly looking up at the door of their room which was on the second floor. She was sure her husband must have been sulking and disappointed.

"Yes, get some rest! I'll take him out to eat."
