Chapter 7

Without saying anything else, Xena chose to leave Evan, but before that she picked up the husband's shirt on the floor and gave it away violently.

"Wear your clothes!" tell it as it passes.

Evan puts on his shirt back and follows Xena down. The man was trying to convince the girl to forgive her mistake.

"Xen, please. Can't you forgive me? Give me a chance even once!" pinta Evan was full of seriousness.

Xena snorted violently, not expecting Evan to follow her. He turned around quickly, making him almost hit Evan as he was standing right behind him. Xena hurriedly retreated so as not to get too close to Dimitri's only son.

"Don't you have any other more plausible reason, huh? Give me a reasonable reason if you really like me, don't give me a silly excuse like that Ev, a disease? nearly dead? that doesn't make any sense at all!" snarled the annoyed Xena.

Xena ruffled her waist, staring intently at Evan to assess the seriousness of the man's gaze and speech.

"I'll do whatever you want, as long as you give me a second chance. I just want my life to end with no regrets" Evan said.

However, for Xena who had already been hurt, all the reasons for her husband were just lies. He stomps his feet, then leaves and ignores Evan.

Xena left the house by driving her own car. He intends to go to the house of Dimitri-papa-in-law, he wants to convey his intention to divorce Evan, because for Xena their relationship will never improve and will not be good at any time.

Once at Dimitri's house, Xena meets Devgan. Evan's cousin lived in Dimitri's house for a while, considering that the man had just come from France and all his family were there.

Xena reviewed the smile when she saw Devgan, then without further ado she asked where the in-laws were.

Devgan replies that Dimitri is in the reading room. The man had indeed been out of work since handing over his position to the son. Without asking for permission, Xena rushed to get there.

Xena knocked on Dimitri's door. Until the man's voice sounded out loud from within, and let him in.

Xena opened the door slowly. Dimitri was sitting behind the table.

"Oh, Xena. Come inside!" Dimitri looked delighted to see the arrival of his son-in-law.

"Am I bothering Papa?" ask Xena before actually going inside.

"No, of course not. Come sit!" Dimitri.

Xena reviewed the smile, then sat down across Dimitri. He is determined to end it all now, no longer wanting his life to be messed up because of Evan.

"What's wrong? Why did you come here so early?" ask Dimitri.

"Actually I want to convey something to Papa," replied Xena a little hesitant, afraid to hurt the heart of the father-in-law who he considered like his own father.

Dimitri was quite surprised by Xena's words. He knew that Evan and Xena's relationship was not good, so Dimitri deliberately lied to Evan with a severe illness, so that his son and daughter-in-law could improve the relationship. However, who would have thought if it turned out Xena even wanted to split up. Dimitri couldn't let that go, he had to figure out a way for Xena to undo her intentions.

Dimitri also pretended to throw a rough and heavy breath, then held his forehead and put on a face full of sadness.

Xena who saw the change in Dimitri's facial water, thought that the man must have been disappointed with the decision he made.

"Sorry, Pa." Xena was a little sorry to make the man sad.

"You don't have to apologize. Papa didn't mind it, it's just-" Dimitri deliberately paused his words, so Xena was curious about what he was going to say.

"Why, Pa?"

Dimitri who had lowered his head by holding his forehead, then glanced and saw anxiety on Xena's face. He snorted violently, then looked at the daughter-in-law who was impatiently waiting for her to speak.

"Just I was hoping you could take a little longer with Evan" Dimitri said. The man pretended to rub his eyes which were not wet at all.

Xena felt more guilty for making Dimitri sad, but the decision was already unanimous. His heart was too sick from Evan's attitude.

"Do you know, Evan has cancer, maybe his age will not be long," Dimitri continued.

Xena's heart was racing hearing her father-in-law's words earlier.

"Evs ... Evan's? cancer?" Xena stammered, she did not expect Evan to not lie to her. She was shocked by disbelief when her husband said he had the disease and thought he was lying just to defend himself.

Dimitri, who saw a surprised look on Xena's face, pretended to be breathing heavily, indicating that he wanted to cry.

"I know he likes it as well as he likes it, but even so he's still my son. I want him to get happiness before death." Dimitri again rubbed his eyes that were not wet.

Xena felt that her body was weak to hear that fact, although she hated Evan but also undeniably she had a love for the man. Without speaking or saying goodbye, Xena suddenly stood up and ran out of the room leaving Dimitri.

Dimitri was quite surprised to see Xena's reaction, until a triumphant smile appeared on the middle-aged man's face.

"Yes, it seems to work," he murmured.

Xena who ran out, again passed Devgan, but he ignored and ran to his car parked in the yard.

Devgan was surprised because Xena looked panicked and ignored him. The man had to abandon the intention of calling Xena by name.

"What happened to her?"
