Chapter 10
That day, the day that Xena and Evan had to go to the hospital to see a doctor, they would see the results of the tests done to Evan. However, before that both chose to go to the beach.
They walked along the beach, holding hands like a couple in general.
"In this life, other than being a famous painter, what else do you want?" ask Evan.
"I want to age with you" Xena replied without seeming to think.
Evan immediately stopped his steps, turning to look at Xena who was walking beside him. They looked at each other, Evan saw a sincere smile on his wife's face.
"I'm sorry, maybe I'll never be able to grant that" Evan said regretfully.
Xena tried to toughen up for Evan, she could not show her feelings of sadness for fear of making Evan worse.
"You have to be optimistic, you'll get well. When you're in a difficult time, I'm the first person who will be next to you and always support you" Xena said at length, trying to calm her husband's feelings.

"What's? Are you sure?" Evan looks so surprised, looking at the Oncologist named Endra—friend Xena, who checks his health condition with a gaping mouth.
"What does that mean?" ask Xena to make sure.
"Evan didn't have cancer, I've even checked it more than three times, there's no sign of cancer cells developing, for the whole thing is fine," doctor Endra answered, describing the test results on his hands.
Evan and Xena were both in disbelief, between being surprised and happy, their feelings were completely indescribable.
"Try checking again! maybe something was wrong," Xena asked for the umpteenth time, she was afraid that the examination results were wrong.
"I've checked three times, Xen. How many more times do you want to check?" Endra even confused himself with his friend, is not good if the results Evan did not have cancer.
"What about the symptoms I've experienced? I limp as if I have no energy, even nausea," asked Evan.
"Maybe you were stressed at the time."
Endra's doctor's answer again made Evan agape, but this time he chose to believe. He feels relieved. Yes, he can live longer and happier with Xena.

Xena and Evan leave the hospital, after confirming that Evan really does not have cancer. They feel grateful and assume that the doctor who examined Evan earlier misdiagnosed.
Just as they set foot in the house, Jihan's voice rang out and shocked the two.
"Van, we need to talk!" Jihan was already standing looking at Xena and Evan.
Evan looked back, looking at Jihan who was staring and walking towards him.
"Don't I say our relationship is over. Then, why are you still here?" evan asked seemed unhappy with Jihan's arrival.
Jihan did not expect that Evan seemed to be driving her away. He looked at Xena who looked away, then turned to look at Evan. Until saying something that makes Xena and Evan surprised.
Xena rounded her wide eyeballs, looking at Jihan in disbelief, before finally turning to her husband.
Evan is surprised by Jihan's confession, but he does not necessarily believe the woman's words.
"He's pregnant with your son?" Xena looked at Evan with a glint in her eyes. Without even turning her gaze Xena until pointing towards Jihan stood up.
"No, there must be a misunderstanding" Evan argued trying to explain.
"Oh, is this because you lied to me, huh? Since she's pregnant, then you want to run away from responsibilities, then pretend to be sick to draw sympathy from me!" snapped Xena who was already filled with anger. She is so angry to learn the fact that Jihan is pregnant.
"For God's sake, Xena. I didn't, I didn't even know she was pregnant. I really didn't lie about the disease." Evan tried to defend himself.
Unfortunately Xena was too angry, feeling already lied to and fooled.
"I don't want to share a husband!" Xena stomps her feet to the floor, then runs into the house leaving Evan outside with Jihan.
"Xen-" Evan wants to chase, but his hand is immediately restrained by Jihan.
"You have to take responsibility, Van. I want you to marry me!"
"You're crazy! didn't you say you've been taking pregnancy-preventing drugs?" ask Evan.
"Yes, but ever since your attitude changed I don't drink it anymore" Jihan replied with a smile on the corner of her lips.
Evan shaved his coarse hair, he felt what he had just heard was more terrible than the cancer verdict he had ever claimed.
"You're crazy! I never spew lava inside" Evan argued.
"Can you make sure none of your lava is spattered?"
