Hana and Prawira look very romantic that night, they even wear the exact same sweater, making Xena occasionally smile while eating dishes. However, honestly the girl was holding back the cold, he did not know there would be a dinner on the beach nights like this, even though Hana had asked him to wear a jacket earlier, he did not know, but he did not bring it from home.
“Are you cold? wear this!"
Evan immediately stood up, attentively breathing the jacket he was wearing and wearing it to Xena's body, until the girl was shocked and immediately put down her cutlery quickly.
“No need! bother.” Slightly snapped at the beginning but Xena lowered her tone after realizing that Hana and Prawira were staring.
“No fuss, I just can't see a woman cold,” Evan said with a sweet smile.
“Thank you.”
Xena pulled the part of Evan's jacket that was on his shoulder, looking down to unravel the whack of awkwardness. They continued to eat dinner quietly, only the sound of the waves was heard, until Hana asked Xena how she felt, whether she was happy to be on Kilikili island.
“I can't wait to play on the beach tomorrow,” replied Xena with a cheerful face, while Evan was unceasingly staring at the face of the girl's ayu. Xena braided her long hair, she looked so simple but remained beautiful and graceful in Evan's eyes.
Although dinner had been finished since last but they were still talking, until Prawira saw the sleepy wife, they were ready to go back to the resort first.
Shortly after Prawira and Hana moved away, Xena stood up from her chair and took off Evan's jacket and gave it back by putting it on the man's lap.
“Xen!”
Xena's footsteps stopped because of Evan's call, she turned her head without intending to get closer to her husband who seemed to have gotten out of the chair. Evan approached her and put the jacket back on her shoulders.
“Why?” ask Xena astonished.
“Let's stay with me for a little while longer before returning to the resort, I sincerely ask for it, there's something I want to talk about,” Evan said with a twinkle of seriousness emanated, the face of the sumringah Evan showed as Xena without refusal nodded her head.
Both of them walked along the beach without direction, Xena just looked down and occasionally glanced at Evan's feet who just kept stepping when clearly the man said he wanted to invite him to talk earlier.
“Ev!”
“Xen!”
Xena sighed, stopped her steps and now stood face to face with Evan. The beach was rather bright because of the adequate lighting of the resort manager and also the moonlight that night seemed to shine brightly.
“Said you wanted to talk for a minute? But why keep going and not talk soon, look! we have come a long way,” said Xena while pointing to where they ate earlier with her chin.
“I intentionally, in order to be with you longer.”
Xena laughed, but clearly her laughter was not a disdainful laugh Evan said, her cheeks blushing red. He blushed in shame.
“Stop your seduction!"
Xena who was breathing again, now she was facing towards the sea, her eyes were looking far away as well as Evan.
“If you don't want to talk yet, let me speak first, I want to ask you one thing.” Without turning her head, Xena said something that suddenly made Evan fret.
“Ask only!”
“In this world what makes you happy?”
“Know You.” Without thinking Evan could answer the girl's question easily, even though it was a sneery laugh he got from Xena.
“Lying! You even had an affair with Jihan when I was your wife.”
“Sorry!” cut Evan fast. “This is actually what I want to talk about, but I'm afraid you won't believe it. Everything I said though it's honest it seems like you won't believe it either, but know I still want to say it, because I don't want to lose another chance like I lost you a year ago.”
Xena froze, she could only dive deeply into Evan's eyes who solemnly said that then cuddled. “Then say!”
“Jihan and I did date, but we never did anything like you think. I'm sure you must have heard from someone, that he and I were seen together at the hotel a lot. I did accompany him several times to meet the producer because he was afraid,” said Evan.
“Fear?”
“Yes, often the man she meets does things she shouldn't do.”
“You really protected him, you must really love him,” quipped Xena whose heart felt hurt.
“No, all I love is you.”
Evan's love statement sounded like a joke in Xena's ear, the girl took off Evan's jacket and handed it back. “There are still thirty-five days, you better not have to give me any more false attention!”
“Are you going to believe me that Devgan's trying to make you hate me?” evan asked in a loud voice as Xena had already walked away from him. His question succeeded in making his wife stop, but not look.
“He ‘kan told you that I was with Jihan at the hotel and didn't even find out first for what? did you also know that she asked Jihan to lie pregnant with my son and come that day? on the day that should be the beginning of our happiness?”
Evan's statement made Xena shocked. The girl remained fixed without the slightest intention of turning her head. Xena is confused to believe Evan's words or not.
“Should I show that I did not lie by dying in front of you?”
Xena was immediately shocked and turned her head, she looked at Evan who dropped his jacket and took off his footwear, the man walked backwards towards the beach still with a fixed gaze on Xena.
“Crazy man what do you want to do?”
