Nina's Mother's Story

I was sweeping inside the house when I heard the sound of the door knocking. At first I thought it was Mas Adi, but when I opened the door, it turned out to be a neighbor of the house.

"I'm sorry, Ma'am Ayu, if I bother you." Say a woman who I honestly don't know what her name is.

"Mmmm yes. What's wrong, Ma'am?" My toot.

"Sorry before, I'm not going to interfere in your household affairs Ma'am. But earlier, I met a woman who claimed to be the wife of Mr. Adi." Said the woman.

"What does that mean?" My reply.

The woman named Sister Nina then told me everything. He meets a woman who is looking for Mas Adi. After telling her everything, she left.

I started to keep thinking about Nina's words until my homework became neglected. I didn't even cook dinner for Mas Adi because I kept thinking about Nina's words. Moreover, my sister also told me about her meeting with Mas Adi when she was doing study tour. Not to mention the woman named Sarah.

I then told Mas Adi about what Mbak Nina told me this afternoon. Mas Adi's face changed. But I don't know if he's upset or if he's just nervous.

"Say Mas. Is all that true?" I said with a trembling voice.

Mas Adi looked at me and then held my face with both hands.

"Darling, it must be just a prankster. Why do you have to think about all that. You're just my wife. How could I have another wife if every day, day and night I was in this house." Mas Adi.

I went back to silence. Mas Adi's words have a point. If Mas Adi does have another wife, why is he always with me every night? I think Mbak Nina was wrong or the person who claimed to be his wife Mas Adi was the one who lied.

"It seems you're lacking affection from me so you start thinking no." Mas Adi started teasing me.

Mas Adi immediately kissed me so affectionately. He took me and took me into the room.

"Down me Mas. Aren't you going to eat?" My toot.

"I'll eat you first." Reply Mas Adi while laying my body on the bed.
