25. Follow Adi

Adi goes to the children's play area, to meet Farel. The little boy looked so happy when he saw his father coming.

"Papaa...." Shouted Farel running towards Adi.

Adi crouched down and hugged Farel.

"Where are you going, why don't you ever go home?" Ask Farel plain.

"Papa has a lot of work. How's the hotshot Papa?" Reply Adi asked back.

"I'm good Pa." Farel's face turned gloomy.

"What's wrong?" Ask Adi.

"I miss Papa. As long as you're not home, you're never home. I always played with Nanny. Even if Mama is at home, Mama always plays. Never play with me." Farel.

Adi shook his head.

"What do you want as a birthday present?" Ask Adi.

Farel seemed to think for a moment. He then shook his head.

"Wouldn't you like anything?" Ask Adi smiling.

"I want Papa home." Answer Farel.

Adi sighed then smiled and rubbed Farel's head gently.

"Papa can't go home yet. But Papa promised, when all Papa's work is done, Papa will stay with Farel. How's it?"

Farel nodded.

"Then Papa goes first. I'll see you on your birthday."

Farel hugged the father once more and then let go.

After that, Adi rushed off and left the mall. She did not know that Sarah was following her car from behind.

From a distance, Sarah saw Adi's car into a house that is quite luxurious but minimalist. Sarah tried to get closer. Although the gate is closed, Sarah can still see clearly when Adi comes out of the car and is greeted by a woman who is none other than Ayu.
